I have no idea what to do for a plot or anything. All I know is that I need to develop this guy right here. I apologize beforehand because I am still learning and thus my replies may be absolute trash.

Name:

Tali (He was given no last name, as he was considered a dark deity to be worshipped and feared.)

Race:

Shapeshifter/Skin stealer

Gender:

Male

Age:

23

Sexuality:

Experimenting

Bio:

Born with the unique ability to mimic other’s appearances and shift into their forms. As a child he’d watch television shows and take upon the character’s unique traits. Considered a freak of nature, he was left on a highway to die or fend for himself.

Luckily for him, Tali was taken in by a family who found the supernatural incredibly sacred. He was treated like a deity who had come down to save the world, someone who had come down from the heavens to bring about some change in the world. As soon as he turned eighteen, he was allowed to leave to fulfill some sort of destiny his parents had told him about.

Tali thought highly of that and of himself. It took only a few short years for him to realize that he was A) not a deity and B) he could grow incredibly popular with the girls if he looked more handsome. (Even If He already was)

Personality:

Sulky and yet strong and confident. Tali lives to impress and help others. He’s usually pretty bubbly and open to show emotion. Tali is a heavy extrovert and needs social interaction to be happy. He is also heavily insecure about his features.

Likes:

Cats (absolutely adores them), pastels, Korean style clothing

Dislikes:

Pizza, avocado’s, the smell of pineapple, loneliness

Gen. Appearance:

Height:

A good 6’1

Eye color:

Brown

Usual outfit:

Pastel or light colored clothing. Relies heavily on the popular Korean style clothing, as he was born into an American-Korean family. Loves sunglasses and other type of glasses.

Other:

Is able to steal another’s appearance if he first see’s them. He can completely rebuild his body shape and attributes if he so wishes to do so. He cannot transform into animals or objects however. It is strictly his appearance.

And as for his shapeshifting:

Appearance:

Whatever he pleases. Usually he steals the looks from popular Korean and Asian celebrities, combining their best features to make him the most handsome he can be. Unfortunately, it hasn’t helped him any. He only attracts shallow females. Surprise surprise.

Usual Facial Structure:

(Same as the clothing model above)

Sorry for the wait I had to go and actually eat for once haha.

Absolutely no certain dynamics nor types of character. It is open to all sorts of things! LGBTQ+ friendly and literally anything you’d like to add feel free too. As long as it’s not like super overpowered characters then I’m good!

Hhhmmm well, I have a gal with a power that's pretty dark in most circumstances as well, and I would just have to age her up? Her name's Osora and she's an emotionless and chaotic vigilante?

@Toxic_Persephone group

Oh I like so far. What genre would you prefer? I am good at most any. Action, adventure, drama, romance, fantasy (obviously this has some role)?

My Tali is rather good at getting what he wants with his skin stealing powers. Maybe we could have some sort of cliche, he’s a villain and uses his power to seduce people into getting what he wants’ kinda thing?

@croccin-champagne

I'm chill with any and all, though I'm a sucker for a good romance. A fantasy setting maybe, or a modern world with magic? A good note to make now, Osora's power is in her character sheet, and obviously, it's got a really bad rap and villain-y tones that she can't seem to dispel.

Oooo, that could be fun!

@Toxic_Persephone group

Honestly same man. A good romance gets me going ahaha. And I do love Modern magic. I have many modern magic characters. Ah alright I’d love to read over the character sheet. Is it posted somewhere?

And also, it could! Shall we go with that?

@croccin-champagne

I totally get it dude. I've got to go shower, and then probably hit they hay sooner or later, so I might be iffy on responses as well. Take your time!

@Toxic_Persephone group

Ah thank you! I’m open for the rest of the night so I don’t really mind. Thank you again for letting me know!
By the way I freaking love her. The smolness, the tanks, the boots, the freaking flipping amazing power. Y’all I wanna be able to draw bone and blood to use as a weapon XD

Alrighty anyways, I’m gunna get the first response up. Thought I’m not sure where to place this? Tokyo? America?

The many different lights and signs flashed brightly around him. He was awestruck by it all. By the way the people hustled and bustled about, many stopping or pausing to look him over once or twice. He was often mistaken for a celebrity, and he probably could steal the identity of one if he really wanted.

Of course, the thought of a lavish lifestyle appealed to him, but he was after something much more valuable and fun to him; seeking a woman he could bed with and love.

Tali slipped into a large crowd, letting the awful sound of bones cracking and skin ripping fill his ears as he took upon the face of a young man he had just passed. He was the only one who could feel and hear the sound… nobody else saw anything nor noticed the way his face distorted into a completely new one.

Skin stealers were well-known for their ability to hide in plain sight… Tali was no different. He used to be seen as a dark deity, as a creature that needed to be worshiped or else his wrath would destroy the people. He was treated like a god. And now he was here, in this large city seeking a single stand selling a bean-filled dough. The stand stood in the more quiet part of town, in a park he didn’t recognize. He grinned as he morphed into something more attractive for the older woman at the booth, giving her a dazzling smile.

After a few moments he left with a free serving and had even been handed money. He loved being able to manipulate the human mind… it was so easy when all human’s wanted was sex appeal and fame.

"He's your boyfriend, not mine, King." Osora said into the phone tucked between her ear and her shoulder, digging through the pockets of her shorts for the keys to her family's convenience store. They were in there, she just couldn't remember where. For someone with an incredible memory, she really had a bad memory, and her friends and family never missed an opportunity to remind her. "Shouldn't you know what he wants for his birthday?"

She wasn't even technically supposed to be going to the store, as it was Maki's shift today. Her seventeen year old brother had called her frantically though, while she was on patrol, rambling about a girl he had met and how he desperately wanted to talk to her after school. So, being the loving older sister she was, she had offered to open for him while he talked to this girl. And that was how she found herself changing quickly in an alley and headed back home, to the three level building her family lived in, the convenience store sat on the lowest level.

Osora wasn't sure why King had called her, though. She wasn't exactly known among her friends as someone to go to for birthday present advice. Or at least, she didn't think she was. But either way, here was King, complaining about how hard it was to shop for his boyfriend to somebody who hadn't dated since she was sixteen. "You're planning on proposing, aren't you."

"What-how the fuck did you know that?"

"Your voice. This isn't just about his birthday. Look, why not a plant. Don't interrupt, let me finish. He has plenty, but I mean something he doesn't have. And figure a way to work a ring into the plant. I'll text you some ideas, maybe run it by Reeha-" She was cut off as she bumped into someone, the keyring she had finally pulled from her pocket hitting the ground, and her phone barely escaping the same fate as she snatched it out of the air before it could too. "Shit. You good?"

@Toxic_Persephone group

Tali was just barely starting to enjoy himself when he was suddenly bumped into. He peered down at the one who had run into him, a small female on the phone. He scoffed lightly and bent down to pick up her key’s. “Here, watch where you’re going next time,” He murmured, a little bitterly but not unkindly.

@croccin-champagne

“You’re the one that came out of no where.” Osora countered, her tone matching the stranger’s, only a bit less bitter and more just…nothing. Fairly dead, maybe. “King, stop worrying, I’ll call you back with some ideas.” She hung up the phone, tucking it away as the man handed her her keys. “Thanks.” She studied him for a moment, having to tilt her head back a bit to look at his face. “You from around here?” Something about him set her on edge, a gut feeling telling her he wasn’t quite what he seemed.

@Toxic_Persephone group

His face hardened at her tone. “I am not someone who is hard to spot. I’m rather tall and if I’m being honest, I turn most heads.” He purred, shoving his hands in his pockets. He turned his face away for a split second to make a few slight changes, wanting to look more handsome. He liked this feisty girl…

“No I’m not. Technically I’m Korean, my parents lived there until they were about to have me. I was born in America. I am American.”

@croccin-champagne

"That's the accent, then." She said, nodding once and filing away the information. The gut feeling still hadn't left. Maybe it had something to do with the way he had looked away, and almost seemed…different when he looked back. A split second thing, but she had been trained to notice details. "Incredibly humble of you. Maybe your height is why I didn't notice you though. Can't see that high." It was hard to tell if she was joking or being serious. Actually, near impossible, even to people who had known her for a while. She never showed enough emotion for anyone to figure it out.

@Toxic_Persephone group

He smirked and leaned down to be on her level. “Oh honey, I’m oh so very humble.” He purred, winking. “And you’re right. Maybe I was too tall for you.” He smiled politely after and offered his hand to her. “I’m Tali, it’s a pleasure to meet such a pretty woman.”

@croccin-champagne

"Obviously. Probably the most humble man I've ever met." Now that was definitely sarcasm, and the way her eyebrow flicked up just slightly clued into it maybe being a joke. Though she seemed unaffected by his flirting, she had to admit, he wasn't bad looking. Pretty much the opposite, in fact. She took the offered hand, shaking with a firm grip that belied her strength. "Tokino. Though I can't say pretty is a word used to describe me often."

@Toxic_Persephone group

The corner of his lip turned up. “Oh? Why thank you.” He laughed to himself. When she actually took his hand he grinned, pulling her a little closer. “Well, you’re more than just pretty, sweetheart. You’re gorgeous.” He winked, determined to make her smile.

@croccin-champagne

She blinked once as he tugged her closer, her brows furrowing slightly as she squinted one eye just slightly, studying him for a moment. Almost like she was judging whether or not he was a threat. Apparently, she judged that he wasn't. "Still not even close. The effort is appreciated though." She deadpanned, tucking her free hand into her pocket as she looked up at him.
