@ElderGod-Carrots
(all good my guy! i've heard its finals for majority of peeps atm (well, those im rp's with at least) so its all good :) like i said, im always around)
One minute Dimitri was running. He was speeding through the trees and using his shadows to propel him faster, faster, faster and then he was crashing to the ground. Well, he found his prey, at least. He hadn't expected to crash right into them though. Definitely human, he could smell it before he even gained his bearings on the whole situation. The reek in the others blood, how it drove his hunger and increased it ten-fold.
The vampire had been hurled to the ground and landed a few feet away from the other. He couldn't help the grunt and the groan at the impact and Dimitri pushed himself up onto his hands a moment later. His shadows covered him for the most part but his figure was still clearly visible and Dimitri guessed that was why the other spoke to him when they had gained his footing once more. Dimitri, still on the ground at that point, didn't look towards them for a moment, just clearing his head for a few more seconds before finally, the vampire stood. Even at this distance it was clear that he was taller than the other. The shadows around him swirled softly but it could have just been mistaken for wind at that point, but it was only for a moment.
And then they were moving away and Dimitri was stepping out so he was in full view. The vampires gaze was hard and his frown was prominent, probably more of a scowl, and his fangs poked at his lips at the expression. A picture perfect vision of what a vampire should be, from how pale and tall he was to the fangs and the dark clothes now covered in dirt from the fall. He wasn't happy about it, clearly. Dimitri didn't get too close, just enough so he could see the other better and so the human could see him.
For a second he didn't speak, simply giving the human a long look over because why the fuck was someone like him doing so far into the woods? Searching for his home, clearly. For that village. If Dimitri hadn't run into him then the man would have probably been lost to the woods and the creatures that resided inside so, in a good way, he had unintentionally saved his life. But that didn't save the man from him. He was mulling over his options for a moment longer before he spoke, that silence expending between them was almost deafening as the human's voice had been when he spoke. Couldn't be too loud, shouldn't be too loud out here.
"What do you want with them?" Dimitri's accent was clear in his voice although still not as thick as it once was. He supposed that was what happened when you didn't talk much, "How do you know about them?"
