So I found a cool-ass writing prompt from one of my favorite blogs, here it is cuz I wanna use it for a romantic relationship between our characters, because I may or may not be biased on this one. Supernatural romance is fun:

All around you, people were screaming.

In terror they fled or cowered, desperately trying to put distance between themselves and Them. For a moment all you could do was stand frozen, eyes wide and heart pounding rapidly in your chest, not quite sure if what you were seeing was real. It was only when someone who was fleeing jostled your shoulder as they passed, that you finally snapped out of it. Without a single moments extra hesitation, you ran.

Your feet pounded against the ground, eating up the distance rapidly thanks to your adrenaline, your eyes wide and desperate as you remained intently focused on your goal.

You could feel the exact moment their gaze landed on you, your heart skipping a beat, even as your feet continued to move. All at once their hellfire eyes seemed to glow brighter, lips pulling into a devilish grin as you put on one last burst of speed, heart beating to a frantic tune.

They had just enough time to open their arms up wide, before you slammed into them, their rich chuckle sounding like music to your ears as they embraced you tenderly, careful not to harm you with their impossible strength. You all but melted into their embrace, taking in their scent as the screams faded from your mind.

It was only in their arms that you felt at home.

General idea for story behind this:

Character A summoned Character B, a demon, for companionship because they're like, lonely. Anyways, B gets attached to A, vice versa, A dies early but is allowed to stay so their demon bae can come pick them up and drag them into the realm of dead peeps. Not technically hell, but influenced by it a bit. More of a generalized realm of dead spirits, with magic being more prominent there. Also conspiracies but we'll get into that later. Anyways this is gonna be pretty fluffy for the most part but could easily get spicy if that's okay?

Name: Kenneth Vermillion

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Demisexual/homoromantic-o

Appearance: Standing 6' 5" tall, this cream skinned man has a very learned feel about him, and he has a strange scar on his chest. He has a narrow face with a softly shaped jaw, a broad nose, small ears, and very thin lips. His blood-red eyes are large, and he has thin eyebrows. He has shoulder-length, fine, pale pink hair which is worn in twin French Braids. He has pierced both nostrils. He has long arms and large hands, a muscular torso with a straight waist, and short legs. He has an expressive tattoo covering his right ankle. He usually wears dirty, simple clothes that are mostly black, and he wears multiple gold rings on one hand.

At least 5 non-vague personality traits/habits: He is very violent at times and can be described as impulsive. He's loyal to what he believes in and will defend it with all of his might. Although, he does have a soft spot and can be extremely kind and caring. He also tends to flirt with his friends a lot. Well, strangers too, but his friends a little more.

Some brief backstory: He is British who defined himself as pansexual, but later on figured out he wasn't. He grew up in an upper-class neighbourhood. Having never really known his parents, he was raised in a series of foster homes. He was very trusting in people up until his untimely death at the age of 17. He was murdered by one of his foster parents, which one is unknown. Though he had lived a good, pure life, he was sent to Hell for his plans of revenge and murder.

Other: His favourite foods are milk chocolate buttons and vanilla ice cream.

Name: Darryl Brooks
Age: 25
Gender: Cisgender, male.
Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Kenneth (but to be honest, he'd never given it much thought and just assumes he's most likely gay since he's only ever been into guys.)
Appearance: A little shorter than average height, but he's hug sized, give him a break. Black, freckled, with short but curly hair, a flat nose, and rectangular glasses. Typically seen wearing any pants that fit and smell the least like they haven't been washed in an eternity and the same purple hoodie. Looks, and is, chronically depressed and sleep deprived, underweight, and like he's just one more sleepless night away from death. Very sweet, you can see the genuine love in his eyes, but still. The tired.
At least 5 non-vague personality traits/habits: Darryl is pretty much at his wit's end, and highkey burned out. He tends to push people away because he doesn't want to burden people, but, yknow, that's obviously bad… ADHD, with a bad case of self hatred. He's trying his best and does want to pursue healthy relationships but is too anxious to interact with, like, humans. Probably why he summoned Kenneth tbh. He wants to give and get love but is too scared to because he doesn't want to overload people with baggage, really.
Some brief backstory: Stressed College Student Archetype. Only child, both his parents are dead at this point due to illness and old age. He works as a high school English teacher and does work as a co-leader for a slam poetry youth group on weekends. A bit anarchist, but more like "take down society and make a better society" guy. Summons Kenneth and assumed he's probably a hallucination but somehow falls in love either way because he's Just That Lonely.
Other: Died in a school shooting, main regret is not being able to help his students succeed through the shittiness that is the American school system.
