“Then you should eat now, I don’t want us to end up forgetting about it. You know I don’t mind….right? You feeding off me?”

"I know," Arien said softly. "I just… Well, I'm worried I might end up hurting you one of these days. Not to mention, you're already recovering from injury…" Arien sighed, pressing his head to Rafael's neck a moment without feeding.

“But you won’t. I know you’re always careful, and I’ll let you know if you’re taking too much.” He reassured, putting one hand on the back of Arien’s head.

Arien was quiet, but eventually he nodded.
"Okay, Rafael… Love you." Arien moved around in Rafael's lap, arms around the human as he lightly pressed his teeth to Rafael's neck. He waited a moment so Rafael could adjust, then bit down to eat.

“I love you too, Arien.” He replied, gently wrapping his arms around his lover as he fed.

Arien's eyes fluttered shut as he fed, one hand going up to tangle itself in Rafael's hair. He let out a soft sound of satisfaction, unable to hide how good this was for him. He pulled away, however, once he'd had enough, not wanting to push Rafael too far.

Rafael let out a soft sigh after Arien had had his fill. He wrapped his arms around the vampire, kissing the top of his head. “Better?” He asked after a moment.

Arien nodded, leaning into the kiss.
"Yeah… Much." He smiled some, tucking his head under Rafael's.
"Are you feeling okay?"

“Mhm I’m perfectly fine. Just like I told you I would be, you big worrier.” He teased gently, chuckling under his breath as he flicked Arien’s arm.

Arien whined softly, a giggle slipping through his lips.
"Well, I plenty of reason to worry." The vampire pushed a bit closer, letting out a content breath.

“I know. I just still wish you didn’t have to worry your pretty little head about anything.” He replied, wrapping his arms around Arien.

Arien blushed lightly, kissing Rafael's chest.
"Mm… Well, it's nice that you think that way, at least."

“Well hopefully we won’t have to worry about anything someday. Someday…” he really wanted that to be true.

"Someday," Arien echoed. "We'll make sure of it." The vampire pressed closer lightly, resting his head where he had kissed the human.

Rafael rested one hand on the back of Arien’s head, tangling his fingers in the vampire’s hair. He let out a content sigh as he held the other close.

Arien let out a breath, smiling.
"Love you, you know."

“I love you more.” He mumbled, kissing the top of his head. “More than anything in the whole entire world…”

Arien giggled, leaning up to catch Rafael's kiss with his lips.
"I love you most-est," the vampire said, holding back another giggle. "More than everything else."

“Well that’s not grammatically correct whatsoever so I say I win.” He challenged jokingly, chuckling softly.

"Pah! Language is fluid and able to change at any time," Arien said in rebuttal, giggling a bit.

“Babe I don’t think that’s ever been a correct form of grammar in the English language.” He laughed.

"Well, it could be someday!" Arien was giggling a lot by now, hugging Rafael close.

“But it’s not right now, therefore, I win! I’m right, you’re wrong, end of story.” He said, pinching Arien’s cheek.

Arien huffed playfully.
"Fine! you win!"

“Finally!” He exclaimed, still laughing as he kissed the other man.
