Arien was putting the finishing touches on the food, carrying it to the table for once. He lit some candles, soo, setting the wine out.

Rafael got up off the couch, walking in the direction of the kitchen. “Can I come in now?” He called out, stopping just outside.

"One sec!" Arien hummed, setting a rose in a thin vase before nodding to himself and dimming the lights.
"Okay!"

Rafael stepped into the kitchen, smiling widely. “Aww this looks great babe!” He complimented.

Arien blushed some, moving to pull out Rafael's seat for him.
"I'm glad!"

Rafael sat down in the chair, looking up at the other as he did. “Thank you dearest~”

"You're welcome~" Arien smiled, moving to sit on the other side of the table with a kiss to Rafael's cheek.

Rafael let out a happy hum at the kiss, scooting his chair in the rest of the way and looking across the table at his lover.

Arien looked back with fondness, smiling.
"So, shall we begin?"

He nodded eagerly, smiling back at him. “Yep let’s dig in!”

"Perfect!" Arien picked up his fork, starting with his oysters.

Rafael began to eat as well, humming softly. “This is so good!” He exclaimed.

"Good! I'm really glad you like it, it's been a while since I've done this," Arien admitted. He took a sip of his wine, smiling.

“Aw well you did really well babe.” Rafael said, smiling across the table at him before taking a sip of his own wine.

"Mm, I'm really glad. I want this to be nice." Arien hummed softly, leaning forward a bit as they spoke and ate, paying attention to Rafael.

“It is really nice.” He reassured, continuing to eat his food.

Arien smiled, taking another bite.
"I'm very glad then! You deserve nice things."

Rafael blushed, smiling widely at the compliment. “You flatter me, darling. What am I to do with all this love, hm?”

Arien leaned his cheek on his hand, humming with a grin.
"I think you're supposed to bask in it, darling." He laughed a bit.

Rafael laughed as well. “Hmmmm…okay well I think I might just be able to do that.” He said teasingly.

Arien smiled sweetly, nodding.
"Good! You deserve it and so much more."

Rafael’s smile widened and he rested his head in his hand to hide the way his blush kept getting deeper and deeper.

Arien hummed, leaning across the table to kiss Rafael lightly.
"What's wrong, sweetie~?"

He shook his head. “Nothings wrong. You’re just really sweet and I love you a lot.” He admitted sheepishly.

"I love you a lot too, dear," Arien said. He moved his hand up to cup Rafael's cheek, kissing him again.
