“Yeah that is pretty important…” he agreed, his heart melting at hearing the little sounds Arien was making. ‘He’s so adorable…’ Rafael thought to himself.

Arien closed his eyes, chest still rumbling as he nuzzled closer to Rafael. He was like a big cat, enjoying the affection he was being given.

Rafael jokingly moved his hand to scratch behind Arien’s ear, treating him like a cat.

Arien tilted his head into the movement, the rumbling kicking up some. He opened one eye, looking up at Rafael.
"M-Meany," he mumbled, enjoying the scratches too much to actually sound upset.

“I’m sorry you’re just so cute!” He protested. “You know if you hate it so much, I can just stop.” He pointed out.

"Noooo~" Arien whined, pressing into Rafael's hand.

“That’s what I thought.” He chuckled, continuing the movement. “You know what darling? We probably need to shower. Or at least I do.”

"Mmm… But I don't wanna leave you…" Arien looked up, snuggling close.

“Mmm fine. Then we can wait until later.” He said, pressing a kiss to Arien’s forehead.

"Mmm… Good…" Arien leaned into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Rafael.
"Warm…"

“So you keep saying.” Rafael laughed softly, holding his boyfriend close. “What’d you ever do without me to heat you up all the time?”

"Freeze to death," Arien said, chuckling a bit. He nuzzled close, head tucked against Rafael's neck.

“Sounds about right.” He agreed, running his hand through Arien’s hair.

Arien leaned into the hand in his hair, smiling softly.
"Mm~.."

Rafael began to hum softly, holding Arien close to himself. After a moment he began to rub the vampire’s back gently.

Arien melted into Rafael's touches on his back, curling up some and keeping close. His eyes fluttered some, slowly closing as he relaxed in his lover's hold.
"Love you…"

“I love you too darling…” he hummed quietly.

Arien let out a faint breath, slowly slipping in and out of consciousness. It seemed he would be taking a nap while Rafael got his shower, then.

Rafael smiled softly, staying there with him for at least 10 more minutes, not wanting to accidentally wake Arien.

After the ten minutes, Arien was dead asleep, a gentle snore coming through his lips. He was curled up close to Rafael's chest, looking so peaceful…

Rafael got up slowly, laying Arien down in the couch gently.

Astral let out a soft whine when he wasn't held against Rafael anymore, curling up as he was laid down.

Rafael chuckled softly, planting a gentle kiss to the top of Arien’s head before quietly leaving the room, going to shower.

Arien smiled softly in his sleep when Rafael kissed his head, cuddling down into the couch with his gentle snores.

Rafael would be gone for a good thirty minutes, enjoying the warm water. Also it’d just been way too long since he’d showered, and he needed to be clean.
