"Well, if you'd prefer a bottle of scotch, I suppose I wouldn't mind you spending a night away from him," O'Hara remarked, finally looking up at Ravelynn when she finished her words. Oh God, what did I just say?
"Well, if you'd prefer a bottle of scotch, I suppose I wouldn't mind you spending a night away from him," O'Hara remarked, finally looking up at Ravelynn when she finished her words. Oh God, what did I just say?
" sure, why not." She said and smiled, sitting up
Now you've done it, Eleanor. The woman cleared her throat. "Well, my shift was supposed to be over two and a half hours ago. I'll hand off my patients, and we can get going then."
" alright," she said and gave a soft smile
O'Hara nodded and walked briskly from the room. She gave her patients away to other disgruntled doctors and made her way back to her office to grab her coat and handbag again.
" promise this time, no threats"
O'Hara gave the girl a slightly amused once over and nodded. "Fine. No threats."
Ravelynn nodded and walked out with o'hara
O'Hara nodded goodbye to Jackie and Zoey before heading out into the cool night air. She stopped at the curb and waited for her car to arrive.
Ravelynn shivered a bit, leaning into O'Hara for warmth
O'Hara straightened at the feel of the other girl leaning on her, and she lifted her chin a bit higher into the air. A few moments later, the same black car from earlier pulled up to a stop at the curb, and the driver held the door open for her as she entered.
Ravelynn followed suit in getting in, her slivers easing up a bit
O'Hara sighed quietly and relaxed against the lavish interior. Today had been a difficult day, to say the least, especially near the start of her shift. She'd carried the weight of it through the day, and she couldn't wait to get home, drink to unwind, and pass out as quickly as possible.
"Where to, Dr. O'Hara?" her driver asked as always once he got back in the car.
"Back to the hotel," she answered casually and gazed out her window.
Ravelynn played on her phone, the screen seeming to illuminate her blue eyes
O'Hara glanced over at Ravelynn and arched her eyebrows as her curiosity got the better of her. "What are you doing?"
" playing a game,why?"
"Playing a game?" O'Hara laughed shortly. "You have games on that?"
"mmhm." she hummed
O'Hara shook her head and looked back outside. "I'm surprised you have the time for such dalliances."
" only when I'm not working, i don't play them very often"
O'Hara hummed. "I see."
The car slowly pulled up outside a large, ornate-looking building, and the driver opened the door for the women to get out. "The Artesian Hotel, ladies."
ravelynn nodded and got out " thank you."
O'Hara nodded her thanks and lead the way through the lobby doors and over to the elevator.
ravelynn followed, yawning softly
O'Hara pressed the button for the eighth floor and guided Ravelynn inside. "Come on," she muttered, pressing the Door Close button as the desk attendant watched them.
