Zander looked over at the girl and smiled, inwardly honored at being the first chosen. He shuffled to sit cross-legged, adjusting the sleeves on his jean jacket. “Ummm…” he hummed, “Truth!” He finally decided.
Zander looked over at the girl and smiled, inwardly honored at being the first chosen. He shuffled to sit cross-legged, adjusting the sleeves on his jean jacket. “Ummm…” he hummed, “Truth!” He finally decided.
"Okay, so…" She paused, trying to think of something. "If you could only live on one candy and one food, what would each be?" She asked, not going too extreme right in the beginning. Finn immediately started thinking about what his answer would be if he had been asked the question.
“Hm..” Zander looked up to the ceiling to think. “ For the food, probably baked potatoes, and candy? Skittles for sure.” He nodded, happy with his answer.
Ike tilted his head, thinking about his own answer. He couldn’t decide what candy he’d want, but he’d like to live off of watermelon.
The girl had a slightly disgusted look on her face, she hated Skittles. "Well… great. It's your turn to ask someone, though." The girl said, relaxing back in her seat. Finn couldn't think of an answer to the question at all, so he was glad it hadn't been his question.
Zander looked around the room, taking his hand through his tussled brown hair, deciding who he should ask. Ike watched Zander nervously, especially when the boy looked at him with a considering expression. Zander’s eyes finally landed on Griffin. “Finn! Truth or dare?”
"What kinda question is that? Obviously dare!" Finn said, well almost yelled, in excitement. He sat up a bit and watched Zander, waiting for his dare. He glanced around the room. Everyone probably very interested in what Finn would have to do.
Zander laughed, taking a moment to think. He had a few ideas already, he just had to choose one. “haha! Um… Do an interpretive dance depicting the life of a human.”
Finn giggled a little as he got out of his seat. "It sure is a good thing I've had to a warm-up exercise with interp. dance in my dance class." He said, walking over to a space in the living room that was empty.
After a couple of deep breaths, Finn lied down on the floor, curled up in the fetus position. After a second more to think, he started. He moved onto his back, feet flat on the floor and arms to his side. Slowly he lifted his arm starting at the shoulders. Once his arms were fully lifted, he rocked up to his knees, arms still lifted, but they soon quickly dropped and he fell to his left side and rolled around his back. He then rolled up to a squat, one arm up on arm on the ground and one leg extended out to the side. His arms circled around his head and he turned his whole body to the extended leg, folding over it. He bent the extended leg and straightened the other leg, going into the Warrior 1 position in yoga, then Warrior 2. He crossed his arms over his chest and rolled backward, onto his back again. Doing this all very quickly, he jumped to a stand from there. His arms opened over his head to his side. He did a series of spins, hops, and graceful dance moves while smiling. Soon the moves slowed and were stiffer looking, his smile fading, he also slowly started going back down to a squat, then his knees. He leaned back, laying on his back, arms out to his side., his legs together, and his eyes closed.
That was the end, he was breathing deeply trying to catch his breath. A smile returned to his face, he was actually proud of it. He sat up at a few seconds and looked at everyone. "Please say someone videoed that?"
(Sorry if it makes no sense lol. I've never done anything interpretive dance-related.)
Zander watched with wide eyes and an entertained smile. He was the first the lead the group in quiet applause, “Whoo!” he laughed, “Epic performance!”
“I got it!” One of the kids called between bouts of laughter, holding up his phone.
Finn pumped up a fist and jumped up. "Whoever said that could you send it to me? I'm gonna show my dance teacher." He said, spotting the raised phone then walked over to them. He pulled out his phone and exchanged numbers with the person. The person sent the video to Finn immediately. He sat back down in his seat, still breathing a bit heavier than normal.
He scanned the room, his eyes landing on Caleb, at least he assumed it was Caleb since Issac was next to him. "You… Caleb? Truth or dare?"
Ike turned his head to his friend, a small smile set in the corner of his lips.
The brunet lifted his head at his name, “Uh, dare!” He decided without giving himself much time to think.
Finn nodded to himself and thought for a minute. He looked back to the man, a smile on his face. "So, I dare you to have everyone in this room write or draw something on you with sharpie." He said with an eyebrow raise.
“Ohh,” Caleb laughed nervously. He looked around the room at the people in the group. He could only hope they wouldn’t draw anything inappropriate or else he’d have to dress carefully when at school. “Okay…”
"Great! So, I'll go look for some Sharpies and then we'll get started!" Finn said excitedly. He hopped up from his seat and got out of the group. He stood in place for a second, thinking where Sharpies would be since he didn't really know this house and where things were.
Zander craned his neck to peer in the kitchen, as if he could see them if they were in there, “Uh, I think there’s some in the kitchen! On the counter beside the shopping list.”
Finn smiled and nodded, running into the kitchen. He searched through a few drawers before finding four Sharpies. He ran back into the living room and stood where he was before. "Okay, before we continue, I have a rule since I said the dare. So, nothing on his face and no taking off clothing, we're not wasted enough for anything like that yet." He said with a little laugh as he looked around at everyone. Without any more hesitation, he set the Sharpies on the floor and watched as people hopped up to grab them.
Caleb but his lip nervously while he watched the kids grab the sharpies. At least there were some rules in place—that was good. It eased some of his anxieties at least.
Ike stared at the sharpies for a few moments while he wondering what he should draw on his best friend. By the time he decided, the sharpies were all taken. He was alright to wait, though.
Griffin stood back to let everyone else write something first, besides, he needed to decide what to do anyway. He definitely wouldn't want this for himself since dance costumes are pretty revealing. But he didn't have to worry about that. He glanced around, watching everyone write something.
Caleb watched all this occur with his lip caught between his teeth. He squinted at some of the strange things people were writing, but was even more curious at what was being written upside down. He looked over at Ike with a pitiful expression. "I can count on you not to write anything outrageous, right?"
His friend smiled back nervously. "Yeah, sure," he snickered.
As some people finished up, Finn picked up one of the discarded Sharpies. He looked at some of the other things people wrote or drew, some definitely worse than others. He took the cap off the marker and went up to Caleb. Eventually, he decided to draw something on his shoulder so he moved his shirt and started drawing. It was just a simple flower, with a smiley face inside. He didn't feel like doing anything rude or unpleasant.
Caleb looked over his shoulder at Finn, craning his neck to try and see was he was writing. He groaned nervously, “What are you drawing?” He mumbled.
Isaac shifted to see. “Relax, Caleb,” he smiled in amusement “It’s just a happy flower.”
“Oh, good…” Caleb looked back forward. He didn’t seem very reassured.
"Yeah, don't worry, it's cute," Finn said, smiling back at Caleb. Once he finished, he went back to his place on the couch and looked at Caleb. "K, who are you gonna choose?" He asked, looking around at the group of teens waiting for their turn.
Caleb fixes his sleeve back over his shoulder and looked around the room indecisively. The girl beside him, Kate, looked restless as if she was silently pleading for him to pick her. “Ike,” Caleb decided and shuffled to face his friend. “Truth or dare?”
“Uh…” Isaac blinked back like a deer in the headlights. “Truth?”
Finn smiled, he had guessed Isaac would say truth, he just seemed like a truth person. He watched Caleb and Isaac, interested in what the question would be. Finn usually never did truth, unless he really wasn't feeling dare, but ti just made things more interesting to do dare.
Caleb crosses his legs and leaned against his knees, staring at Isaac while he thought about a question. “Hm. I have a couple in mind so if you don’t want to answer the first, you can answer the second.”
“Okay?” Isaac leaned forward too, ready for the question.
“What’s the biggest secret you’ve never disclosed to anyone?” Caleb raised a brow.
