“Lillian, for the last time I am NOT turning the heat off!” Sera protested, smacking the other girl’s hand away from the dials.

A few minutes passed, and Lillian had fallen quiet in the driver’s seat. “Is she asleep?! I am so sure we made a rule of no falling asleep!”

Sorry, I fell asleep…//

"I'm not asleep, just tired of your crappy music." She complained loudly, crossing her arms with a huff as she stared crossly out the window. "It's to hot in hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

“If you don’t like the way I drive, I can pull over and let you out.”

"Or," Lillian countered. "You could let me drive."

“Yeah, right. Last time I let you drive, my car got towed.” Sera retorted, rolling her eyes.

"Well, you drive like a snail. How are you even a demon?" Lillian asked with a snort.

Sera flipped Lillian off and slammed on the gas. “Fast enough now?”

"Hell yeah!" The werewolf cheered, returning the middle finger.

“I can’t believe you.” Sera said, slowing down enough that she was only ten above the speed limit. “I’m starving; next time we see a gas station we’re stopping.”

"I'm starving toooooo." Lillian said, extending the word with impatience. "Where the fuck are we going anyhow?"

“We’re going to see a friend.” Sera replied, pulling into a lit-up gas station parking lot.

"Whom? One of your demonic friends?" Lillian said with an eyebrow wiggle and a small chuckle.

“Shut up. And no, we’re going to see a HUMAN friend. A Hunter, to be specific.”

"Nononononononooooo." Lillian protested with vehemence, her and Hunters did not have a good relationship.

“It’s fine, Lillian. He’s cool with werewolves.” Sera said, and then under her breath added, “Mostly.”

"I swear to stars! If you bring me to another dude who wants to harvest my fingers I will kill you!" She yelled.
