Eric shook his head, face red.

Jackson gave him a grin and nodded his head face also red.

Eric shook his head again. "No, I'm not-"

"Yes you are," Jackson countered still nodding.

Eric shook his head. "No…"

Jax kept nodding, "Yes."

"I'm nothing special, Jax." He said softly.

"Well I think you're amazing," Jackson responded softly, "Doesn't matter if you're special or not."

"Why, though?" He asked, regretting it. "I-I mean-!"

Jackson gave him a laugh and a grin, "It's fine darling. I think your amazing because you're not afraid to be yourself. You stand out without even trying and you're probably one of the nicest guys in school. If you understand your sense of speech that is."

Eric looked down, face burning red. "I-"

Jax's blush grew, "Was that, uh, too far?"

Eric shook his head. "N-no, no! It's just, um…"

"Um what?" Jax pushed softly just a little bit. He would be fine if Eric didn't tell him

"No one's ever said something like that to me…" He whispered, biting his lip.

Jackson went quiet for a moment before kissing Eric’s forehead and giving him a grin, “I’ll have to say it more often then.”

Eric looked up. "Y-y-you-you really don't have to…" Please do, please do, please do-

“I want to,” Jax smiled at him, “Because you are amazing.”

Eric bit his lip, blushing. "…Thank you…" He whispered, looking down again.

Jackson gave him a little squeeze, “You’re welcome.”

Eric looked up at him. "Can I…?"

Jax smiled as he looked down at Eric, “You can.”

Eric leaned up, kissing him softly.

Jax kissed Eric back gently. One of his hands crept its way up into tangling in Eric’s hair.

Eric shifted closer, tilting his head slightly as he rested his hands on Jax's shoulders.
