"I'm fine, I think. How are you?" Jack replies.
"Not really. Kinda just been worried about. . . well, it doesn't matter right now." he sighs, smiling a bit.
"Anyways, do you know what you'll order?"

“I’m alright,” Darcy said, nodding. Balancing her classes, work, and her boyfriend was stressful, but taking a break to spend time with a friend was always nice. She looked at Jack and shrugged, “I told you, I can’t decide. We should decide together, what do you think?”
Jack smiles a bit. "You look like hell, Darcy. You sure you're alright?'
He peers at the menu, then points at one of the seasonal drinks; a pumpkin/banana shake with whipped cream and sprinkles. "How about that?"
“Aw, what?” She nudged him with her elbow. “Meanie. I’m fine, I promise.” She looked to where Jack was pointing, and considered the shake. “Why not? Who’s paying?”
"I'm not being mean, I'm being true!" Jack laughs.
"I'll pay today." they reply.
(Boop)
(I am so sorry ;;)
(It's cool, I get it if you're busy)
(Very, unfortunately)
“No your not.” Darcy crossed her arms and held her head high. “I look fabulous.” She straightened and chuckled. “Alright, thanks. Can you go up there and order by yourself, or do you need help?” She snickered, teasing them.
(Lol, that sucks. I hope things calm down for you soon!)
Jack smiles. "You're right, you're absolutely stunning."
They roll their eyes. "I can handle being a person better than you can, probably."
Darcy just looked at him. “Fine. I admit it, you’re right about that one. I can wait here.” She broke into another laugh, then leaned back in her chair.
"I know I'm right," Jack says, faking cockiness before laughing and standing and walking to the counter.
He orders the drink then walks back to the booth, sitting down, one leg crossed over the other.
"So, how are things with you and Mr. Washboard Tummy? Still groping each other around the school," they tease, eyes sparkling.
(Uhhh what does the phrase washboard tummy mean? Is it supposed to allude to smth?)
(Lol, it's supposed to be a joke; it's reffering to abs)
(Ahhhhh okay, thank you)
Darcy checked her phone while she waited, replying to few texts, then looked up as Jack returned.
She just raised an eyebrow and snickered. “Who? You mean Aviv?” She laughed. “No! He’s not like that! I’m the one who gropes him,” she added, lowering her voice. “And what washboard tummy is there to speak of?”
Jack chuckles.
"I've seen him get bold enough on a couple of occassions," they reply.
He lowers his voice too. "True, but don't let him hear it."
Darcy rolled her eyes. “They can take it. They know. Honestly, I have more of a washboard tummy than he does.” She giggled.
"True, true. Not that I would know about your abs, but I bet you could almost lift a pillow if you tried. Your boy, I think, might be capable of lifting a marshmallow." Jack snickers.
Darcy elbowed him. “Shut up.”
At the front of the cafe, their order was called. Her head snapped up at the sound. “You want me to get it?” She asked.
"What, I'm right!" Jack snorts.
They shrug eloquently, staying seated.
"Well, you don't need to rub it in," she retorted, playfully widening her eyes and raising her eyebrows at them. She glanced at the front counter, then turned back to say, "Look, I'll show you that I can carry two large shakes at once, how about that?" before going up and taking the order. She successfully brought it back to their table.
"I will anyways, though!" Jack smiles.
"Ooh, big strong girl, coming through! Make way people!" they laugh, their eyes gleaming playfully.
“I have proven myself. Now don’t make me throw this at you.” She shook her head, and slid the shake over to Jack. Darcy sat down, and took a sip of the drink. “Not bad.”
"Oh, should I be scared of that threat? You'd lose your drink!" Jack snickers, taking a drink of his own shake.
