Alex rolled her eyes. This guy was an idiot. "That's why I said- you know what, I'm not even going to try." She hurled all the force of her storm at him. She could do much more, but she had learned that it was best to start with the lamer stuff.
Jay easily used a shield of electricity to protect himself. Though he felt like he wasn't on his best game, he was tired from working yesterday and that put him at a small disadvantage.
Alex laughed coldly, lips pulling into a cruel smirk. "Well done, Shocker. But can you protect the rest as well?" She sent the storm magic towards the people, getting as many as she could.
Jays eyes widened and he created a ton of weak shields to conflict with the power, that cracked showing his powers were off. He flinched and turned back to Fallen Angel.
Lip curling, Alex laughed. "Well well well. The little hero lost his powers. Pity." She used wind to slam him into a wall and vanished. A paper came floating down. It read, You're lucky that I spared you. Until next time, Lightning Boy.
Jay sighed with anger and tore the paper up angerily before disappearing and reappearing at his house, he went inside and sat on the the couch his entire body hurt, "Damnit what's wrong with my powers?"
Alex landed appeared in her apartment. The first thing she did was rip off her mask, revealing a sweaty face. She changed out of her suit into a pair of men's jeans and a shirt and morphed into a man. It was never a good idea for him to be female around others: they might recognize his female voice.
Jay changed and decided he needed coffee, so he left his house and went to the cafe, downtown. His hair was messy as usual and he was slightly sluggish.
Alex was craving coffee, so he grabbed his car keys and left, locking the door. He combed his jet black hair quickly and started out.
Jay got to the cafe and headed inside to order. When he was done he sat down with his coffee and started slowly drinking it.
