"I hope…" She says hugging him. Caria found herself having new feelings for him, "Your not as bad as you used to be. Your more gentle now, soft. And really hot."

He hoped to gods that she couldn't feel his hammering heartbeat as he wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. He let out a gentle laugh "Don't bet on it. I still have some of that boyish annoyance now. ANd your not too bad yourself."

"some would beg to differ." He muttered into her hair "and t'is true, I definatly didn't lose my dear quality. Neither did you apparently."

Caria stayed silent, enjoying the soft thud of his heartbeat. She looked up at him, and instantly thought 'damn you look so kissable right now…' and then mentally fought herself.

He glanced down at her and smirked "what was that Cari?" He asked, using his old nickname for her "was that a flash of desire that I saw in your eyes?"he laughed lightly and shook his head "might I remind you, we both signed those divorce papers."

"Ewwww" She groans at her old nickname, "You saw nothing. You ever fall in love? Like actual love." She smiled, "Why would I want to get back with my ex husband? Your nothing special."

"yes I did, as a matter of fact. One of Aphrodite's stupid love arrows caught me by surprise. I'm pretty sure I'm still falling though." He watched his a smile, she was in his territory now, time to have some fun. "Then why are you back hm? If I'm nothing special.." he pulled away their embrace and headed back to the castle

"For who? If you don't mind me asking." Caria asked, "Because you're like my only good friend…All the others I had got married and shit…" Of course her great grandmom struck him with an arrow.

"ouch, that hurts. I like to consider myself a little higher on the spectrum of friendship than a 'good friend's" he said I've his shoulder, ignoring her first question for now

"Fine…uh…Best friend?" She asked as her eyebrows furrowed together, "Love hurts…I know from experience. That's why I play matchmaker and don't put myself out there…"

Lios chuckled lightly to conceal the rage that flashed through his eyes, making a mental note to personally drag all the scum bags who had hurt her down to his domain "yeah, I haven't had the best of luck with love either."

He shrugged as he walked on the path near the woods "why doubt it? Am I not allowed to love as you or any other?" He shrugged "sure, what?"

"Believe me, I do." He glanced around in slight confusion "No one's here…why not tell me now?"

He turned to face her while he walked backward. Dark eyes pinned to her form, giving her his full attention "cari…you know how much I hate secrets."

"f-fine…It might take a minute for me to get the words out though." Caria looked at him, her feelings for him never changed…never changed.

He arched an eyebrow and tilted his head "if so important then why withdraw the information? especially if it's about you." he asked softly
