Derlik opened one eye, looking down. Aw… and he said he wasn't sleepy enough to fall asleep again that night. The god was relaxed, closing his eye again. Perhaps some sleep would do him good too, even if he didn't technically need to. So, with that, Derlik drifted off himself, a small smile gracing his lips.
(Sounds good. Do we want to skip to when the drugs wear off? Also what are the effects that the drugs have after they've worn off?)
(We can if you'd like to, it would be able a two-three day skip. It'd start with a headache, coughing with hints of blood, then shivers, which develop into spasms and muscle seizures, puking, an intense migraine, and intense hallucinations (auditory and visual) which climax in a mild grade seizure and then he's done! Lasts a total of about half an hour)
(Sounds great lmao. Shall we do that then?)
(Yeup! I'm in the middle of trying to write something for school aha, think you could handle it?)
Luca woke up hazily, grunting softly. It had been about three days since the god had injected him with the drug substance. He hadn't really been keeping track, days passed like a second with the god. He grunts softly, massaging his head. Everything hurt at the moment, and he wasn't sure why. He rubbed at his head and hissed out in pain. "What the-" He coughed sharply, his body trembling. Luca groaned out, his body felt like it was tearing itself inside out. His body shook horribly, his body aching. He sobbed out softly, calling for his god. Everything hurt, his body ached. He needed reassurance, needed comfort. But he could barely move his body.
Derlik woke up when he heard Luca calling out to him, sitting up on the boulder and looking down at him.
"Ah, I've got you…" Derlik pulled Luca gently into his lap, holding the man close and rocking him some. "Shh, shh, you're going to be okay, Luca. It's just some withdrawals from the drug, I promise it will be over soon my doll." The god kissed Luca's head, humming some.
They'd had a fun past few days, in Derlik's mind. They'd gone back to the twenty-first century a few times, he had introduced Luca to so many new things from that time- not drugs, though. It wouldn't be good to mix them with this.
"Shh… I've got you."
Luca groaned softly, leaning desperately into his god, seeking some sort of comfort in this hell of pain. He coughed again, his body shaking as a bit of blood dripped from his lips. He whined out softly as his body shook, clinging desperately to Derlik through whatever his body was going through. If the end result of taking that drug was this hell, he didn't think he would be taking that drug again. His body shuddered and his muscles spasm. He felt like his body was being set on fire. "It hurts…" He whimpered out desperately. "It hurts so much-" He felt like he was going to die, that's how painful it was.
He wouldn't have much choice in whether or not he wanted the drug, though. It was highly addictive.
"I know, Luca," Derlik said softly, kissing Luca's head. It helped, slightly, with the pain, but it couldn't do much. "I've got you, it'll be over soon. Shh, shh…" Derlik started to gently rock Luca, holding him close to his chest.
"You're going to be okay, my little doll, it'll all go away soon."
And he knew that, he knew that his body was already craving it despite the fact that he was in hell right now. He felt like he was going to die. "Make it stop- please make it stop-" He sobbed out, clinging to his shirt and shaking. He body jerked harshly and he cried out again before he felt something race up his throat. He pulled away from the god in just enough time to hack and throw up what little had been in his stomach. He sobbed harder, but he kept hacking up what little he had in his stomach. The poor little doll sobbed out, cries that could shatter the earth if it could. He hated it, hated it so much. He didn't want to go through pain like this again, even if the drug was addictive. "Please- no more-" He begged.
Derlik pulled the hair out of Luca's face as his body rejected what little there was in his body. The god also rubbed his back, humming softly. He couldn't do much about this even if he wanted to. Luca's body had finally started to reject the god's blood in him, and they had to let it play out.
"Shh… I'm right here, Luca, you're going to be okay. It'll be over soon." Derlik moved his hand to the back of Luca's neck, holding his precious doll with so much care. He did what he could, easing the pain as much as possible. It wasn't much, but it was there.
(I'm sorry that I haven't been responding much today. I got my first dose of vaccine on Tuesday and I've been feeling hellish ever since I got it. Just a little bit of a heads up ^^)
(Okay! Take all the time you need, don't push yourself too much)
He sobbed, his body felt like it was being set on fire, like it was eating him inside out. He barely felt the relief the god tried to offer him, his body just shaking and he practically screamed at the amount of pain he was in. Luca's head began to pound harder and harder, his body starting to seize up a bit. He threw up again, but there was practically nothing there so it was mostly just dry heaving as well as some stomach acid occasionally. He curled up in on himself, rocking back and forth as he tried desperately for the pain to stop. Whispers and laughter started filling his ears, and he clawed at them desperately, trying to get it to stop. He shut his eyes, crying out with so much anguish it could make even hearts of stone break.
Derlik held Luca as he screamed, one hand gently rubbing his back still. He'd get through this, eventually. He hummed, holding Luca to himself.
"You'll be okay, my little doll." The god took Luca's hands when he started to claw at his ears, pulling them away. He was coming to the end of this, then. The god just kept humming, his voice cutting through the clatter in Luca's mind, giving him something to focus on other than those voices.
Luca didn't want this anymore, he hated it. He could barely feel the god trying to comfort him, could barely feel anything at all. He sobbed and screamed, his voice going raw from the strain and breaking. Even with his eyes closed, he could see so much, he could hear the voices, see people staring at him. He didn't want it anymore. He could barely hear the humming over the screaming of the voices, could barely feel his gods presence. Everything hurt, his mind, his head, his body, all of it screamed in pain. His body twitched, he tried so desperately to run. So desperately to escape whatever he could.
Things were coming to an end, then. Derlik held Luca close, prepared for the end of this. The god stood and carried Luca away from the boulder, laying him down on the grass. He kept Luca on his side, taking his jacket off and folding it under Luca's head.
"It's almost over, my doll…" Derlik hummed, moving to the side to keep an eye on Luca.
A massive wave of nausea washed over his body, and it felt like electricity bolted through his body. His mind completely blanked. And then it was all over. His body still ached, and his throat was still messed up, but everything was over. It left him heaving on the grass, still sobbing a bit, but it was over. He collapsed on the grass, barely able to hold himself up. Everything hurt, but it was over. He sobbed quietly and reaching out for his god blindly, seeking for comfort, seeking for anything at this point. He could still hear voices, but they were distant now, itching at the back of his mind. But he ignored them for now as he reached out for his god.
Derlik took Luca in his arms as the man reached out for him, humming softly.
"I've got you now, see? It's all over, I promised you would be okay." The god ran his fingers through the man's hair, holding him close.
"Let's go get you cleaned up, okay? I've got you…"
Luca sobbed softly, holding onto his god for dear life. To say he was a mess was an understatement. He didn't feel okay, he didn't like how he felt right now. He curled up in his god's arms and just cried. He wanted to get cleaned off, he wanted to forget everything. He didn't want to go through what he just went through again. He shuddered in his gods grasps, cuddling desperately into his arms. He was safe right? So long as he was in his gods arms.
Derlik wrapped his jacket around Luca, humming the same lullaby that he had been before to help the man calm down. He stood, walking into the trees. He came to a creek soon, though, the water clear, and knelt down beside it. He cupped some of the water in his hand, offering it to Luca to drink.
"Here," Derlik said softly, "This will take some of the ache away."
Luca could barely even speak because of how much he had been screaming and crying. He listened as his god hummed, leaning into his chest as he tried so desperately to breathe. He felt like he was going to collapse and his legs were shaking like a baby fawns. Luca drank the water thankfully, sipping at it softly as he tried so desperately to stay calm. His body occasionally trembled, or he coughed but other than that he had calmed down for the most part.
