@Dirt

(Ooo, I have excitement. Also I'm pulling a blank on words rn, so pardon if this sounds absolutely stupid.)

Estaban was truly glad to have Lucky around. She seemed to have more knowledge of the place then he did. A grin played on his lips. They where so close, he could feel it.

@croccin-champagne

((You're good lmao))

"The stronghold, through whatever shit fuckin' divine intervention, is righ' next door." Lucky said, looking back at him as she stopped at the end of the hall. She pointed up, at a hatch in the ceiling, and grinned wickedly. "If ya boost me, I can pull ya up."

@Dirt

Estaban had been about to give a small triumphed cheer, as he hadn't expected them to have made it this far. But what Lucky has said almost made him laugh. "I doubt you can pull me up." He remarked.

@croccin-champagne

"Just because I'm wearing a dress, don' mean I can't at least try." Lucky said, rolling her eyes. "I'm stronger than I look. You got a better plan then, cap?"

@Dirt

Estaban rolled his eyes, and crouched down so she could use him as a stepping stool. "I'll figur' somethin' out." Though honestly he couldn't think of anything better.

@croccin-champagne

"I'm sure ya will." Lucky said sarcastically, nodding. It took her less than two minutes with his help to pull herself up and through the hatch, as though she'd had plenty of practice doing it. Once up, she cast a quick glance around, before crouching to reach down. "Le's get ya up here."

@Dirt

Estaban had hissed a "hurry up." while Lucky was trying to pull herself up. It wasn't the fact that he was worried they'd get caught, but more so the fact her shoes where bitting into his back.
He grumbled a bit as he straightened out and took her hand. His other hand gripping the edge of the hole and pulling himself up.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky hadn't been kidding about being stronger than she looked, hauling Estaban over the edge of the hatch opening quickly and without much struggle. Once she'd gotten the hatch closed again, she was back on her feet, helping him up into a standing position. "No' bad. Though I'm guessin' you've never done that with a woman in heeled boots before."

@Dirt

"Nd' I didn' think I ever would either." Estaban said, a hint of a laugh in his voice. "Come on. We gotta keep moven'. We're almost there." He looked around spotting a hall way, and waved Lucky to follow. This time making sure to listen carefully.

@croccin-champagne

Lucky followed after him, keeping an eye behind them to make sure they weren't followed. She stuck close to Estaban, maybe just a bit closer than normal. Not out of fear or anxiety, but more because somewhere, in the back of her mind, she liked feeling like she had a place. And that was exactly how she felt with him.

@Dirt

A wrong doorway or two later Estaban found himself racking his brain. He knew this place so why was it so hard to find the right way? Everything still looked the same from the last time he'd been there. He sent a glace twords Lucky, apologizing for being so turned around. He pushed open another door that groaned rather loudly, and there it stood. The prize they'd been after.

(I Litarlly can't remember what they where stealing. Do you remember?)

@croccin-champagne

((Well, they were trying to break into a stronghold, just for, y'know, cash. BUT. I have an idea. Red diamond, because why not))

Lucky's hand found Estaban's shoulder, squeezing it as her eyes widened. "The Supreme Purple Star." She whispered, a slightly amazed laugh bubbling up. "Look a' that thing."

@Dirt

(Ooooh! I like. Red diamond it shall be!)

Estaban stopped dead in his tracks, jumping a little at Lucky's hand. "It's a beauty." He breathed. He quickly snapped outta whatever trans he'd been in- though he was still amazed by it- and quickly scanned the room for traps or alarms.

@croccin-champagne

"String a coupl'a feet in front of us." Lucky said, flickering her gaze up to him and releasing his shoulder, after one more squeeze. "Prolly set t' trip some alarm."

@Dirt

(Sorry I've been gone so long! I was having trouble finding the motivation.)

"Mos' likely." Estaban responded as he glanced around. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. At least not to him, but then again why would it? It was ment to be a trap. Hidden. "Risk it? Er look for the traps?" He asked, completely ready to grab it and run if Lucky have him the green light.

@croccin-champagne

"Scoutin' out the traps'd be safer." Lucky mused, pushing a hand through her hair as she loosely braided it out of the way. "But it'd take time we don' have. Grab'n'go?"

@Dirt

Estaban eyed the area. Lucky was right, they didn't have time. Every second not used was a waist. "Grab'n'go." He echoed, as he snatched the diamond and started rushing Lucky out the door.

@croccin-champagne

((When should trouble find them?))

Lucky couldn't help the laughter spilling from her lips, though she took care to muffle it with her fist as she let Estaban hurry her out. She grabbed his wrist with her other hand, tugging him along a new route as she tried to get her laughter under control. There was something about the thrill, she supposed.

@Dirt

(Hmmmmm. Idk. When do you think?)

Estaban rolled his eyes at Luckys laughter. Though he couldn't deny a smile coming to his own lips. He wanted her to stay, maybe he could convince her. After All, she was basically part of the crew now.

@croccin-champagne

((How 'bout as they're getting close to getting away? Up the ante?))

Gods, if she could do this for the rest of her life, Lucky knew she'd be perfectly happy. The thrill, of getting in and getting away with something worth so much. The danger, and the sense of home and belonging, too. She hadn't felt that since she was young, and here she was, finding it thanks to a pirate. Speaking of…she didn't want to have to say goodbye to him, either. She glanced over at Esteban, noting his smile, and trying to pretend that it didn't tug at her heart, knowing this would be the last time she'd see him. At least it'll be a happy memory of him. That's always nice, considering how rare it is.

@Dirt

(Oh yesssss. Also again, sorry I haven't really been on. My creativity has jumped out of a window into a pit of burning glass. So its safe to say that's dead.
Did you want to role them getting caught or did you want me to?)

Estaban wanted to blurt out and ask her to stay. Even though they were Litarlly running. They had, After all, just stole something of great worth.

@croccin-champagne

((Totally cool man. Any chance you could?))

Lucky shook her head slightly, mentally shaking it harder. She needed to focus. Not on how much she would miss this(him), but on not getting caught. And avoiding the voices heard beating them would be a good start.

@Dirt

( totally. ^^ )

"There's D' exit," Estaban said with a grin. It was so close. They had almost made it- and they probably would have if not for the guard that had just rounded the corner. Right infrount of the very exit they needed to escape.
Estaban stopped, and grabbed Lucky by the arm to stop her too. He cursed under his breath. "Who goes!" Called the guard just before his eyes landed on the treasure the two had stolen. "Theives!" He shouted. Alerting more guards to Estaban and Lucky.
