Rochelle nodded and got back to reading her magazine.
"Whatcha reading?" Jamie asked, nudging her friend.
"Quibbler," Rochelle replied without so much as looking up.

"When I ran into that other car, I heard one of the Gryffindors say that they got all new brooms for Quidditch. Are any of you planning to go on the team for you house?" Evanna asked.
All three raised their hand and grinned at each other.
"We'll be unstoppable this year since Slytherin's keeper is gone!" Madeline commented with a sly grin.
“Gone? What do you mean gone?“ Evanna asked.
"He was a 7th-year last year. Team captain. Graduated. Gone," Rochelle explained.
"All they have now it a 3rd-year who was a reserve, just because he was the only other keeper they had," Jamie explained with a smirk.
"Ah, I see." Evanna replied. "Jace is on the Hufflepuff team."
"What position?" Madeline asked curiously.
“I believe he’s a beater. Although he had said he would like to switch to the Keeper position.” Evanna replied. “I thought about maybe going out for the seeker position but I don’t know if I’m up for that.”
Jamie and her friends exchanged a look. "Doesn't Hufflepuff already have a Seeker?" Jamie asked. What she was really saying was, "I couldn't bear it if you got hurt when I could've prevented it. Isn't someone else already in that position?"
"Not any more. The bloody git of the seeker we had bailed on the team. It used to be Karmen Tarlson but she ditched." Evanna replied. "Kacey, the caption pulled me aside last year during flying class and said I had potential. I'd only have to beat as far as I know of now, Rose Gruader."
Jamie bit her lip. Rose Gruader was no skill with a broomstick. Which meant Evanna would most likely be fulfilling the position.
Evanna pulled her Pygmy Puff, Marlee, out of her bag, and started stroking her head.
"I can see Gryffindor tower!" Madeline announced.
"It feels like we've been on this train forever." Evanna exclaimed, gently placing the pygmy puff back into her bag.
"Agreed," Jamie said with a smile.
The train pulled up at the station and the girls all piled out. "Let's get a carriage," Rochelle quickly suggested.
"Aye, it's nerd girl and her loser sister." A random 6th year Slytherin yelled. Evanna shifted closer to the group og girls.
Jamie dropped her bags and stormed over. "You wanna say that again?" she threatened, holding her wand concealed beneath her robes.
"Jamie, calm down, that's exactly what he wants. Don't give him the satisfaction." Evanna said in a slight whisper.
Jamie curled her lip, looking him up and down once before she sniffed and walked away. Someone stepped on her robes and laughed when she fell back. She stood up and whipped around, but before she could do anything, someone stepped in front of her. Someone very large.
"Alright, that's enough."
"Hagrid!" Jamie cried, extremely relieved.
"Go get on a carriage, Jamie, ya don't want to miss the big feast!"
"Thank you Hagrid," Jamie said. She turned and hurried back to her friends and her sister. She gave Evanna a tight hug and whispered, "Sorry."
"Are you okay? It almost looked like you were gonna blow up." Evanna said while turning to face her sister
"I almost was!" she laughed to release the building tension in her body. "Let's get a carriage. Hagrid's right. I don't want to miss the ceremony."
"I'm hungry, I hope there's pudding. And butterbeer." Evanna replied.
"Me too!" Madeline agreed quickly. "Now come on! Before we're late!"
"Okay!" Evanna yelled.
The girls gather their things and got into a carriage. It pulled them off to the castle.
