OK so I read a Peter Parker fanfic on Tumblr with the same title that pretty much had him falling into depression due to losing his leg in a fight.
I don't want to do a Peter Parker rp or anything like that, that's not what this is about.
I guess I kinda just want an angsty superhero rp, I guess.

There's a superhero team. A girl, her brother, and her boyfriend. All three of them are close.
There's two dynamics to choose from.
The boyfriend gets hurt in a fight and put into a coma. The girl falls into depression and her brother tries to comfort her.
The brother gets hurt in a fight and put into a coma. The girl falls into depression and her boyfriend tries to comfort her.

I don't mind which situation, cause I think both of them could be interesting.
No matter which dynamic you choose, I will be the girl. I just have an idea for her.
Whichever dynamic you choose, I will do a small, basic template for the unchosen character. This will just give us an idea of what their relationships to each other will be.

Name: Ben McKarthie
Age: 22
Gender: male

Appearance: Ben has light blonde hair that is between wavy and curly, which can get unruly pretty quickly. He has clear, icy blue eyes and pale skin. He likes to joke that he's the male version of Elsa in looks, if not in powers. He has an easy smile and is average height at 5' 8", with a thin and slightly muscular build. He likes to paint his nails different colors, usually black. He has a Grecian nose and thin lips. His eyebrows are thin as well. He has poor eyesight, but he usually elects to wear contacts instead of glasses.
Style: He dresses a bit like an e-boy, with lots of layers, graphic t-shirts, and plaid pants. Ben's favorite shoes are his black Doc Martens. He likes to wear chains (like the necklaces) and beanies. Ben also loves sweatshirts and sweaters, especially oversized ones. In the summer, he usually wears more t-shirts and shorts. Owns a lot of stripes and plaid.
Personality: Ben is a bit of an introvert, preferring time to himself over being with others. He's a bit shy and awkward, but he's pretty comfortable around his family and close friends. He likes to tell jokes and can be quite sarcastic at times. Ben is also impulsive and creative, and sometimes makes really stupid decisions (which everyone else groans when they hear). He's kind of a nerd, but not unathletic. He's a bit chaotic at times, but just wants to have fun. He secretly really wants people to like him and is kind of insecure. He is constantly joking around and loves to mess with/tease his sister.
Likes: Jokes, food, painting, music, fashion, Disney, sarcasm, comedy, and cats.
Dislikes: Making decisions, waiting, having to be serious, people who take their authority too far, and fake people.
Background: Ben was always a shy kid, and didn't have many friends in elementary and middle school. He finally started to have a friend group in high school and college. He's on his fourth year of college currently, and getting a degree in biochemistry. Ben's always loved science and learning how things work, and he likes to make things. He has made many (failed) inventions and tried to find ways to combine art and science.

Name: Cosmic-Man
Powers: He can fly, shoot energy beams, and make shields out of energy.
Backstory: Ben was trying to create an invention that was supposed to transfer energy from one kind to another, but it backfired. It was much too ambitious of a thing for him to attempt, especially in high school (which was when he was attempting it) and it ended up giving him the powers. However, he thinks that having these powers is slowly killing him, and he doesn't like to talk about it. He is the only person that knows this, and he acts the same as usual. As far as he can tell, actually using his powers doesn't affect how long he has left.
Suit: (I'm just gonna describe it bc I can't find a picture I want to use.) His suit is pretty skintight for the most part, which he jokes about but low-key makes him uncomfortable sometimes. It's black with neon green accents, and he has a neon green visor to hide his eyes. He has neon green gloves that go to his elbows and neon green boots that go to his knees. On the chest part of his suit is a neon green, multi-pointed star.

Name: Daphne McKarthie
Age: 19, almost 20
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual, does lean more towards males but is up for females
Appearance: Daphne's hair is very, very white. It used to be a medium brown, but turned this colour after the incident. She dyes it with silver strips so that it doesn't look too obnoxious. Her hair reaches the middle of her back, being straight in texture. She typically styles it in a very simple ponytail or bun.
Daphne's skin is quite pale, not a necessarily unnatural shade but certainly paler than Ben's. Her once green eyes have been transformed into an unnerving white, however she wears green coloured contacts to make them appear normal. She is fit and tall, standing at around 6'1".

Personality: Daphne is a very energetic and happy-go-lucky girl. She sees the joy in everything and tries to find the good in everyone. It's almost impossible to see her upset, but when she is she will hide it. She is always happy and it is often infectious. She wants people to be happy and will try and help you get there.
As happy as she is, do not make her angry. She is very powerful and it takes a bit to calm her down once she's angry.

Background: Daphne has never been very popular. She was never really able to make friends, and that worked for her. She was surprised when Cameron showed interest in her when she was 15, and they've been together ever since. They're really close and bring out the best in each other. She doesn't know what she would do without him.
Daphne is also quite smart, but she's never used those smarts. She's always loved photography, and she actually dropped out of school when she was 17 to do it.
Out of the three of them, Daphne is the most likely to pursue superheroing as a full-time job.

Name: Glacier
Powers: Daphne has cryokinesis, meaning she can control ice. She can freeze anything and use it as a weapon. She can make weapons out of ice and use them in battle.
It takes a little bit of energy to unfreeze something she has frozen. It takes more energy to unfreeze something that was frozen by someone else or naturally frozen. It takes so much energy to control water in it's basic form that she can pass out for days after using it. She typically just sticks to ice because of this.
Backstory: As a sick joke, a bunch of bullies stuck Daphne into the school's cool room when she was around 10. They were older than her and she couldn't do anything to stop them. They made the cool room extremely cold, using the excuse of her hiding out for her absence. Daphne began to get extremely cold, cold enough to get hypothermia. She was in there for hours before a grade 12 student found her - they were looking for food items for class - and took her to first aid. Daphne came out of the ordeal with a powerful manipulation over ice, though no one knows why.

Personality: Cameron is kinda and caring He tries to bring out the best in people and doesn't want them to be hurt. He can easily match Daphne's energy and to help her to cool down.
Background: Cameron was the popular kid. He had a lot of friends and was pressured to bully people. He refused to, and especially when it came to Daphne. He decided to ditch his friends group for her when he was 16, and he has not regretted it. He's currently in college studying music and dramatic theatre. He wants to be on Broadway, loving to perform.

Name: Solar
Powers: Cameron is able to manipulate light. He can turn light into beams of energy, weapons or use it to fly.

The three of them were in a fight against Pyro, a villain the complete opposite of Daphne. He was a buff, tall man, and he used a large suit to make himself bigger. Still, Daphne wasn't scared of him. It took a lot of energy to melt her ice, and Pyro didn't have that energy. She skated round to where his suit's power supply was.
"You guys distract him while I get his supply!"

“Why am I always the distraction?” Ben complained, but did what she had asked anyway. He shook his head to get his hair out of his face and sent an energy beam towards Pyro, sticking out his tongue in a taunt.

“Wow, you really are pathetic! I thought that was a joke!” he taunted, flying a little bit so he wouldn’t get burned to a crisp.

"Just keep his focus away from me!" Daphne yelled. "I've almost got him!"

Cameron flew up and shot a beam of light towards Pyro's eyes, blinding the man temporarily. He swung wildly, still trying to fight against the heroes. A blow from Pyro himself could have been fatal, since he was stronger in the suit.

Ben shot another bolt of energy at Pyro, this time aiming for his legs to knock him off balance. He had to admit that the three of them did make a pretty great team, even though he did feel like he was always being the distraction. After the energy bolt to his feet, Ben shot another burst at Pyro's head. Hopefully his sister could get this over with soon. Being the distraction was tiring.

Cameron shot out strips of light, wrapping them around Pyro's arms and holding them still.
Pyro's power supply began to crack under the pressure of Daphne's ice. "Al…most…there…"
Pyro swung his arms around his head in an effort to get Cameron to let go. He did, flying into a building from the force of letting go.
An injury that would normally be pushed away in a fight was not. Cameron hit his head hard, falling to the ground as he fell unconscious. This went unnoticed, Daphne focused on Pyro's power supply and Ben on distracting the big guy.

Ben's gaze flickered to where Cameron had gone, but he didn't have to time to worry about the other boy right now. His stomach churned but he had to keep Pyro distracted or Daphne could get hurt as well. Cameron was probably fine; they always were.

Ben continued to use his energy blasts and flying powers to distract Pyro, also hurling the occasional insult or sarcastic remark in order to make Pyro angry. He had noticed that villains got a lot more clumsy and less focused when they were angry.

Pyro's power supply finally shattered, and he was reduced down to a man slightly smaller than Daphne. At that moment, police showed up and took Pyro away. So that he wouldn't use his ability, she covered his arms in ice and made him handcuffs.

"We did it," She said to Ben, the pair finally able to relax a little. "Where's Cameron?" She looked around, her eyes finally landing on his unconscious body. "CAMERON!"

Ben followed her gaze, anxiety igniting in his chest at the sight of his friend unconscious. While it wasn’t the first time one of them had been knocked unconscious during a fight, it was still terrifying. Ben wanted to believe that it was fine, but some instinct deep down told him that this time it was different. His pulse hammered in his ears. His intuition was wrong all the time. It could be wrong about this. It had to be. He glanced at Daphne’s horror-stricken face before rushing over to the other boy.

Daphne fell to her knees beside Cameron, her hands running over his chest to feel for any signs of breathing. It was skaky, but it was there. "Cameron., hey. Hey, come on. Come on, Cam!"

“He’s breathing,” Ben exclaimed, relieved. “What can we do now? Should we call an ambulance or something?” Ben had no clue what to do next. Did superheroes even call ambulances? Whatever, as long as Cameron was okay it didn’t matter.

"Call 911 or something," Daphne pleaded to her brother. Cameron was always the quickest of the three to get up. So naturally it worried Daphne that he hadn't yet. She reached behind his head, feeling something warm and sticky on her fingers. She pulled her hand back to see that it was blood. "No, no, no, no."

Ben’s heart leapt into his throat. “Shit, okay,” he managed, fumbling for his phone and dialing the number quickly. “Hello, yeah my sister’s boyfriend fell and hit his head. Yeah. Uh-huh. Mockingbird Park. Yeah. Okay.”

(lol i just made up a random name for the place they were fighting at)

"Cameron, come on Come on, don't do this to me. Cameron!" She glanced up at Ben, having heard his phone call. "Do we need to get him into civilian clothes?"
