There was a man named Dorian Gray, who sold his soul for eternal youth. He was a vain man, who ultimately died, but his story lives on, in the writings on walls and whispered nursery rhymes warning of the dangers of one who brings himself to his knees and bows before the devil. But what you don't know is, he had a child. And that child had children, and their children had children, and their family went on for generations. Until now. The year is 4053, and Earth has long since been destroyed, but it's inhabitants live on on other worlds with other peoples, and the Gray legacy lives on in just the corners of your mind, where you can't quite see it. But the family… well, they own and operate an opera house on the starship Axis, but their true goals remain hidden to even themselves.
Your character is a painter who is absolutely fascinated by an ethereally beautiful young man working at the opera house, one of the Family Clemont, the descendants of the ill-fated immortal. The painter knows not the story, but as he and the man grow closer, conspiracies rise and strange feelings blossom between the two. Hopefully, they can figure out what's going on before it's too late, or risk losing their world-and each other.

Appearance: Salem has pure blonde hair, almost white, with spectrally, ghostly pale skin, ice-cold blue eyes, and a handsome jaw. There's something about his face that sets him apart from the rest of his family, something dangerous and cruel and stunningly beautiful all at the same time. He is tall, and lean, but with well-built muscles. Salem is something of an Adonis or Aphrodite, an idol of beauty and desire all at once, something to dedicate oneself to, to worship.
Personality: Salem is decidedly mysterious, sarcastic, and untamable. He's of a wild sort, never letting himself be held down or controlled, and is eager for adventure outside of the walls of the opera house. He often sneaks out at night, just for the thrill it brings him, and uses his time out to do some very dangerous stunts.
Backstory: Salem hasn't had much time outside of the opera house, he's the star of the show and his family prides themselves on producing such a talented individual. He's basically lived his whole life being a natural at the opera.
Skills: Singing, dancing, and acting, he can do it all. He is also a good, if reckless, driver.

Appearance: Soft brown hair that curls around his shoulders in uncontrollable waves. Usually it’s pulled back from his face in a half up half down situation. His eyes are a light brown with flecks of gold and deep emerald green colors. A barely noticeable tan, leaning on the pale side, like a warm beige kind of color. He's around average height, about 5'7, and more on the lean side. He has an hourglass figure. He has a more relaxed posture to him.
Personality: Axel is very much a work-a-holic, he will work himself to the bone to get something done. It's to the point it's worrying really. He is fiercely loyal to those he cares for. He is incredibly smart, diligent, responsible, and calm. He holds his composure better than most. He works well under stress. He's calm and composed, rarely expressing emotions. He tries to shove a lot of things down. He is very polite and humble, however he won't hesitate to call people out for something they're doing. He also has a strong analytical side that makes it easy to quickly decide on something.
Backstory: Art is really the only way he can express himself. It makes life easier for him. He could spend hours in his studio. He picked this up from his mother, who was very similar to him. He is considered a bastards son, since he never met his father. His mother passed away when he was around 16, so he's been on his own for a while.
Skills: Painting, many believe his works of art magic. He's very talented at the violin, his mother taught him before she passed, cooking, acrobatics
