YEEEEEE—
Okay.
So… what’s first?
Well, could you tell me anything I need to know about what you changed and would we still have the same starting point?
Wellllllllll…
And I think that’s all the major changes. If there are more, I’ll cover them as we go. And as for the starting point, I can work with any starter as long as I’m not the one coming up with it XD
Alrighty, I did some thinking on Candorin (Is that what we named it? I can't recall)
Obviously their main import is criminals, their main export is poisons mostly used in tortures and their militia is equipped with poison coated weapons.
I changed Luc and his ma a bit. Luc now has a illness that goes down generation to generation. Usually it doesn't affect much, but Luc's body is really frail. He takes a lot of medicine and often vanishes for a month from the pubic eye.
His Ma is still Marie, who's still as blunt as ever. It's just that now she has a lot more scars. When she was younger, the palace was attacked and she got the brunt of it. So yay, lots of scars.
Oh, and they both collect figurines for no apparent reasons.
Luc's still an only child.
I did a lot of thinking last night, I couldn't sleep
Ah! It’s good to see those names now ain’t it? Since you brought up exports and such, I might as well. Phastia’s main exports are mostly jewels of all kinds.
I’m ready to start when you are and my boys will still be quite young (like last time)
Alrighty!!
I was thinking maybe there's this big ball? Because I love dressing up my characters.
Every kingdom was invited even Candorin, people still need the torture I suppose, so Marie brought Luc cause he doesn't travel much!
You'd have to decide which kingdom hosts the ball though, lol.
I do have another interesting kingdom you may or may not like, depends really XD.
The Aura Kingdom, Eilains, is basically a kingdom filled with magic and such so a kingdom like this and a fancy ball may be a nice pair, idrk lol
MAGIC AND FANCY BALLS ARE ALWAYS A NICE PAIR!!
I am have the brain of a child and if you say fancy and magic in the same sentance I will love the idea.
Sweet!
So… does this mean that I have to start since the kingdom is technically my idea…?
… I probably think so, you won't have to do much, I just don't know any nobility/magic system very well.
I can 100% describe the decorations though
Oh no no, I can do the starter but just give me, like, fifteen minutes XD
Thats fine dude lol, I'm supposed to be doing a class rn
“Lower the gates, the guests from Candorin and Phastia are coming!” One of the commanders ordered as his men did as he ordered. Being a ‘locked away’ kingdom, Eilains had very limited input and output especially when it came to their people. Standing at the very top of the center of the kingdom was the treasured gem that gave the kingdom its barrier and provided safety to the kingdom.
The one in charge of the kingdom, the Emperor as the people called him, awaited the guests in the ballroom. His features weren’t seen by any as his coat, his mask, and his other accessories were meant to keep his identity and true looks implicit.
“Wake up boys, we’re getting close,” Alucard had said to his sleeping sons whilst they were nearing the Aura kingdom. His ghost white hair swayed with the chariot he was on, his azure eyes which represented the ocean had been gazed at his elder son before they glanced at the younger one. They both slowly woke up, wiping their eyes and yawning almost in unison.
“Eilains… right?” Aster had asked, opening his crimson colored eyes tiredly. He brushed his white hair back as it was blocking his view.
“Yeahhhhh…” Isaac answered, stretching as his eyes—one of the crimson color and one of the azure—gazed at the kingdom with awe. His dyed brown hair swayed with the winds as the chariot came to the bridge of Eilains.
“Knights!!! Bow!!!” The commander in charge of the entrance gates ordered as the lines of knights on either side of the entrance path bowed to the royal chariot and their followers.
A member of the royal palace from Phastia got down from the horse they were on, opening the chariot’s door and moving to make way for the king and his heirs.
“It is our honor, your majesty!” the knights of Eilains had said in unison, surprising the cold king a bit. He, though, smiled a bit.
“It is mine as well.” He said to the knights softly before he and his sons were guided towards the palace, more specifically, the ballroom.
Marie was currently in the process of telling her son everything about the ball and the kingdom. "You'll love it here kiddo, there's bound to be a big library filled with magic texts and I'm sure we'll find some lovely figures while we're here. But after the ball okay?" She smiled widely, happy that her son was in good enough health to come on this trip. The mentioned son was almost bouncing with excitement. "Do you think I'll make friends mama?" He asked, eyes wide. "I wanna make friends! You should make friends too mama." Lukisan nodded enthusiastically. Marie laughed and messed with his hair. "I'm sure I'll make some friends, as will you. Now, I think we're here."
Marie smoothed her long skirt out and did the same to her son's clothes. "And make sure to stay in the castle, preferably the ballroom."
The coach driver knocked on the window of the carriage, telling Marie that they were at the gates. "Ah yes, here we are. Remember, both of us have to be on our best manners."
Upon the arrival of the Candorin’s royal family, the knights and officers of Eilains returned to their best form after the short relief they had earlier when the royals from Phastia went away.
“Knights!!! Bow!!!” The commander had ordered once again. When all the followers from Candorin had entered the kingdom, the bridge was pulled back to its closed position to prevent unwanted guests.
“It is our honor, your majesty,” the commander had knelt in front of the royal as he stated his words. Phastia’s schedule wasn’t hard to put down, they rarely had interaction with people outside the kingdom. The situation didn’t happen for Candorin so for her, the majesty, to be able to come was a rare opportunity.
After exiting the carriage, Marie nodded, acknowledging the commanders words. "It's always a pleasure to visit other kingdoms." She smiled, looking down at her son who was clutching her hand tightly. Luc was looking around, both awed and a little scared by the new surroundings. Marie squeezed his hand back, trying to reassure him that it was alright, there was no need to be nervous. "Is everyone at the ball already?" She asked the commander, tilting her head to the side as she asked.
“Almost everyone, your majesty.” The commander answered as his men stepped back, allowing space for the Candorin followers to set down before the officers would guide them to the ball. When everything was ready, the commander nodded to his officer before returning his attention to the queen.
“Please follow our officer, your majesty. He will guide you to the ballroom,” the commander mentioned as the guide officer bowed, signaling that it was him the commander had referred to.
Marie nodded again, following the guide officer. Luc still clutched her hand, but was slowly loosening his grip on it. "Alright kiddo, you know the rules. Don't drink anything from the bar, definitely don't drink anything from a champagne glass." She reminded him quietly, patting his head with her unoccupied hand.
By the time they’ve arrived at the ballroom, yhe royal guests were seen inside already. It didn’t matter how big the ballroom was, there weren’t many people inside; just those from Eilains, and those from Phastia.
When the door was opened, the Emperor of Eilains turned to the new guests. The mask he wore today was a smiling one, giving off a friendly vibe to some but a scary one to others.
”Greetings, Queen Marie, Lucisan,” the Emperor had greeted the two as the male he was talking to turned to them as well.
“Ah, good morning your majesty,” the king from Phastia had greeted with his playful nature. His smile was a bit subtle but for those who saw it, will know that it was warm unlike his usual self.
Marie nodded her head in return to both of them, Luc bowing after his mom did. "Greetings to you as well, Emperor, King Alucard. I don't think you've met my son, Emperor." She smiled, ruffeling Luc's hair again. "You already know his name, of course, but for formalities, this is Lucisan."
The Emperor nodded and although the mask was worn, it was quite clear that he was smiling somewhat.
”Now, if you two would excuse me. I will have to go take care of some business first. I’ll be with you in a bit,” the Emperor had said before turning and walking towards the door where his officer stood at.
With that, Alucard was left with those from Candorin. The king snapped his fingers once as his sons who were messing with their father’s secretary ran towards him.
“For formalities as well, this is Isaac and Aster,” the king had introduced his sons. From the looks of it, Isaac seemed to have been somewhere around Lucisan’s age, if not, younger.
Marie smirked and pushed her son foreward. "Go talk to the kids, kay?" She ruffled his hair one last time before turning to the children. "Hello kiddos, I'm Marie and that's Lucisan." Marie hummed and turned her head to Alucard, her eyes shining with pride as her son waved at the two kids.
The cold eyes of the king didn’t seem to work well with the pride the queen gave. They knew each other, yes, but have never actually met one another in person since the business contract ages ago. It was weird seeing her now, with a child around the age of his own.
“Greetings madam! I’m Isaac and he’s Aster,” the younger of the two introduced themselves, even if his father already did it once earlier.
An officer from Eilains walked up to the royals, bowing to them once and gesturing towards some seats in front of the stage.
“Your majesties, if you would please,” the officer regarded.
