(Hello! I'll stalk if that's alright for you!)

@PaperHats business

Celestial Name: Xellis (Zeh-liss), The Lost One
Human Name: Enzo (En) Falks
Celestial Age: Roughly 1.7 billion years, although he stopped counting a long time ago.
Human Age: 20
Gender: Male h/h
Personality: Closed off and entirely sarcastic, Enzo is a tricky guy to deal with. He tries to act suave but it’s easy to get under his skin. If you’re a hard one to crack, he will devote his entire being to do so, and he can be extremely stubborn. He “hates” everything that has to do with showing true emotion, but if he grows close enough to another person, perhaps he’ll debate on whether to let them in or not. He doesn’t care about his level or position as a god, and he is in fact quite immature in regards to his job. He loves discovering new things and going to new places, and acts completely romanticized and cultured, although he’s truly quite ignorant. Enzo isn’t a stranger to flirting, and has a strong connection to the mortal world and human feeling. Although fragility is something he’s new too, as well as the throbbing of a mortal heart, he feels at home in the somewhat petty and egotistic world of humans.
Lesser God of Travel
Celestial Physical Appearance: Looking younger than he really is, his celestial appearance has him adorned with bright reddish-gold hair and a pilot’s cap. Equipped with too many packs and supplies, as well as a vast number of belts holding canisters of scrolls and maps, Xellis is ready to go wherever, whenever. He has bright golden eyes and sort of light copper skin, always wearing a tricky crooked smile. He is also always depicted as having a compass in one hand, a scope in the other, and a quill behind his ear. He also always has his mimic, Arci, with him. The mimic, in celestial form, is a small bag with button eyes and a belt tongue. His stomach is a “bag of holding”, able to carry any item despite its size.
Human Physical Appearance: Keeping the same sort of bodily structure, Enzo appears roughly 5’11” and quite lithe. His muscle structure is lean, slightly defined under his brazen skin. His eyes are a lesser gold, and his hair is darker to still fit the spectrum of “normal” within the mortal plane. His smile is the same as ever, still teasing and slightly crooked. Arci, the mimic, looks now like a small wallet, and still has his characteristic button eyes and belt/strap tongue. He still has his “bag of holding” powers.
Powers as a Celestial: Teleportation and location, as well as multilingual (not a power, but a perk).
Powers as a human: Minor teleportation, minor location (aka knowing north, east, south, and west and the direction of travel without a compass), and multilingual.
Other: He works under the celestial being Zayanzar, the Goddess of Culture and Worldly Socialization. She created him as a minor conduit of transportation, but with technological advancements in the mortal plane, humans stopped worshipping Xellis for “safe travels.” With the modernization, pleas for Xellis were lost, and he is now known, ironically, as The Lost One. Previously, Zayanzar had her eyes on a certain demon, and with Xellis moderately “unemployed,” she sent him out to the mortal plane to discover who the demon was. Xellis can roam freely and has no restrictions for a celestial, because not many people remember his existence in the first place.

(Sorry it’s so big! With gods comes lore, and with lore comes thickness lol. I might change him up a little, but this is his base persona :D )

@gracehustle

(Oooo I would love to see him drawn out! Also, one last thing, do you have a preference in what my character's gender is? Just in case romance is involved :D )

@gracehustle

(May have gone a little overboard in her demon appearance…I got excited)
Demon Name: Tastriuth (Taz-re-uth)
Human Name: Theresa (Tess) Jorana
Demon/Celestial Age: around 1.6 billion years old, or somewhere around there
Human Age: 19
Gender: Female, she/her
Personality: She's a force to be reckoned with, and her stubbornness is the main thing that shows it off. Her emotions are strong, and not just anger, all of them are strong; they tend to rule her decisions even if she hides the majority of them behind a wall of cool and brilliant smarts. It's a wall that she's spent millions of years building up and she'd be damned if someone comes along and gets her to break through it and her cold outward appearance. She loves to explore, to learn (Even if it's not a normal demonic thing). Tess enjoys the fragility of mortal life though, watching them live as much as they can in their tiny lifespans. It's the reason she spends time in the mortal world, learning what she can and trying to figure out how they can love and care for so much. (More to be added as I work with her)
Demon of: Anger, destruction
Demon Physical Appearance: As the demon of anger and destruction, she is nothing short of attention catching. Permanently tanned skin, marred by light red scratch marks along her arms and legs and hands that are similar to claws. She has pure black eyes that catch attention even better than her hair, which is actual fire that forms and lays in strands similar to hair as it flickers and burns. Tess also sports a pair of long and sharp black horns on top of her head. Like most demons, she sports a pair of bat-like wings, though unlike most who have pitch-black coloring, hers are different. She still has the pitch-black wing itself, but where the bone runs through the wing, it's anything but; There she sports color that moves similar to flames, that blends seamlessly into the golden talon that tops each wing. Her height adds to her menacing appearance, with her 5'11" figure accented by the warriors clothing she is pictured wearing (Obviously the same black and fire-colored as the rest of her appearance). To top it all off, she carries an ebony black sword in a sheath across her back between her wings, and a whip made of literal fire in her hand.
Human Physical Appearance: As a human, she actually looks not harmful in the least, surprisingly. She stands only at 5'4" and can't weigh more than 115lbs soaking wet, though it wouldn't be wise to underestimate her. Even with her thinness, she's powerful and her lean frame shows off just how much muscle she has. Instead of flames for hair, she sports a thick mane of wavy copper-colored hair to go with the same tanned skin, and her eyes are nowhere near as intimidating with their brown coloring that's almost dark enough to pass as black.
Power(s) as a Demon: Hell-fire and regular fire control, clear fireproof abilities, and not surprisingly, the power to easily spin any mortal animal at all into a flurry of anger and hatred
Power(s) as a human: She still has her fireproof abilities, though they're muted enough that she feels the heat as much as every other moral, though she can't burn. Other than that, her powers are only a sliver of what she has in her true form. She can't spin anyone into a flurry of anger at her will, it just happens the longer people or animals are around her when she's mad, and the fire control is limited to nothing more than being able to spark a ball of fire in her hand.
Other: I'll explain her background as a demon as we start this so not really
(How is she?)

@PaperHats business

(Aaaaaa I love her!! They’re gonna be such a mischievous and reckless duo, and will probably have so much more fun than not :D. I’m ready to start, if you are. Would you like me to post a starter, or you?)

@gracehustle

(They're going to be so fun together!! If you wouldn't mind posting a starter that works for me! I'm excited to get this going!)

Xellis wasn’t a stranger to the mortal plane. Still, however, every trip there was… well… a trip.
Hallucinations made themselves known as Xellis jumped down the shoot. His mind was a blur of every color on the spectrum, and even those off of it. However, they all began to look bleaker as they shifted to the greyscale of the normal human world.
His previous polychromatic spot in Zayanzar’s manor turned into almost a black and white alleyway, the greys mixing together in a stone wall and cobble street. Xellis’ hand instantly shot out to grab the nearby bricks as he was shoved to his knees by the brute force of the portal. His stomach flipped up and down, the contents turning watery as he reeled with the motion.
So nauseous. So terribly nauseous.
Though, in a few moments— and with a few deeper breaths— his eyes blinked in their surroundings and the horrid feeling subsided. He took his other hand from its place wrapped around his abdomen and let it hang limp by his side.
Xellis closed his eyes, taking another sigh and remorsefully acknowledging an oncoming headache.
His skin no longer held its radiance, and from previous trips, he knew he held an entirely bleaker form. Oh how colorless the mortal world was.
But then again, how fun the mortal world was.
Shaking aside his previously ill state, he put on a smile and turned, ambling down the alleyway and onto the main sidewalk. Oh how long it had been since he felt the heat of the sun on mortal skin! So many humans took the feeling for granted, though he promised himself he would never.
His golden eyes blinked around the bustling city streets. No one seemed to notice him at all, and although the feeling was abnormal, he didn’t hate it.
He took a full moment to breath in the typical city air, the impurities as potent as ever, before taking out his wallet.
The button eyes gleamed up at him, and four little fangs protruded from the leather flap. A small pink tongue held around another button, but when Xellis patted the wallet’s “head,” it retracted and opened.
“Hey Arci,” he mumbled happily, rummaging through the smaller bag of holding. “What do you have for me today..?”
Within a moment, his fingers caught hold of a small card, and he drew it out. An ID. Perfect.
It had his new “human name.” Enzo Falks. Not too shabby.
Every time he came down, his name changed. At least it was better than last time, with the name Jason Carpenter. Enzo Falks seemed entirely more fitting.
With another smile, he slipped the card back in Arci, cooing a “thank you” as he put the mimic back into his pocket.
Breathing in yet another breath, pressing the extent of his new body’s lungs, he stretched his arms and let out a sung groan.
This— this right here— was going to be so very fun.

@gracehustle

(Ok! Sorry my response took so long, it's been a busy day)
Tastriuth was sure she would never get tired of the mortal world, even with the bland colors and the pounding headache that came whenever she entered the plane. The headache she could deal with. Waves of uncomfortable pain pressing at her head only lasted a day at most, and they were long gone after the month she had been exploring the world.
Some days it still seemed like she could feel it though, especially after a loud night of drinking strange alcohol at some human party. It was called a hangover, she had been informed, and as she sat on a small bench in the city park, the name seemed fitting. The glass of water she had been sipping at in hopes of relief didn't help either. It didn't help her hangover, and definitely didn't help the crabby mood she was in. At least people didn't stay by her long when she was cranky. The one perk of being an immortal being trapped in a fragile mortal shell. Her powers never left.
Tess scowled at the ground as she thought, not even able to watch the flock of pigeons that normally were found in the park. They had made themselves scarce when she didn't throw bread crumbs at them, leaving her alone with a plastic water bottle and her thoughts.

@PaperHats business

(It’s alright, always take all the time you need :)

Xellis let out a deep exhale, the cold biting at his lungs. The morning had eased by into a sort of calmer and slightly warmer noon, the sun grazing just overhead and skimming behind the clouds.
He had to give some credit where it was due, the blues and greens mixing together from the pools of the sky and the nearby trees spotting the sidewalks were moderately mesmerizing. Nothing compared to the overworld, but he’d take it.
He brushed off his shirt as he went along, the difference from his ragged tunic into a sort of cotton apparel was more than satisfactory. It was comfortable, certainly, and hung around his lithe frame slightly larger than probably intended.
Unfortunately, as a mortal now, he was less than attuned to find the demon he was seeking. But then again, it wasn’t like he really cared. He couldn’t care less what the demon was doing in the mortal plane. It’s not like he was a real god with real followers, so who was there to really save for personal benefit in peril? Exactly, no one.
But he still enjoyed the place nonetheless, maybe it was why he had taken the job in the first place. If the demon destroyed the mortal plane, then he wouldn’t have a stupid adventuring point.
Though, if the demon was doing fine on his or her own, who was Xellis to judge? To each their own, as long as he benefitted in some amount, large or small.
And, in this case, just keeping the mortal plane in existence was enough for him. Bottom line, he had extremely low goals in the situation.
Xellis’ feet soon brought him to the sidewalk of a park. It was nice to see, on the outer edge of the more populated city. The green grass matched the trees perfectly, the buildings behind it giving a solid alabaster background and really accentuating the contrast between color and bleakness. He took a brief moment to appreciate the sight before continuing down into the heart of the park.
However, just as he was about to take another step, his eyes flashed to a figure sitting alone on one of the benches. His eyes widened slightly, and within his deepest bones, he felt the marrow turn cold. A brief rising sense of anger and impulse shot through his body before he could reel it in.
Demon or not, this mysterious woman caught his attention. Based on the iffy relationships between demons and gods, Xellis was about 94% positive this was one of the underworld’s dark ones.
But, just in case she wasn’t, Xellis gave a polite smile and nod of his head, continuing to saunter past like nothing had ever occurred to him whatsoever.

@gracehustle

Time passed by in the blink of an eye as Tastriuth settled onto her spot on the wooden bench, the day going from a brisk morning to tolerable midday within moments. It clearly had been over an hour she had been sitting, from the dwindling amount of water still in the bottle, but she couldn't care less. Until her headache subsided, she wasn't going to budge from where she sat.
Being in the park was strangely calm, and she easily would've stayed there for hours, drinking in the little color in a sea of drab buildings. It was a little oasis of sorts, one where people wouldn't start small talk with her; the majority didn't even glance in her direction. She liked it too, even as someone passed her on their walk and her peace was disrupted.
Her eyes flicked up for the first time all hour as a feeling in her gut urged her too. The person in question was a young man, barely out of his teenage years from her guess-and even with thinking he was just a human, a firey thrum coursed through her, making it immediately known to her what he was.
No human stood out like that. And the feel of a fellow demon held a feeling of welcoming warmth in her veins.
This was neither. Instead of welcoming warmth, this was a fierce burning feeling, similar to anger. Immediately she knew the young man in front of her had to be a deity of some sort. The feeling wasn't intense enough for her to feel like recoiling from his presence, but it wasn't unnoticeable either. Whatever he was, she hoped he couldn't figure out what she was.
Tastriuth was almost surprised when he smiled politely at her, though she recovered in a moment and offered a tight-lipped smile in return. Apparently that was her sign that her relaxing on the bench was over. No matter how much her head still hurt. There was no way in literal hell that she was going to stick around long enough to confirm her suspicions towards the boy.
So she stood slowly, waiting until he had passed before turning and walking in the opposite direction casually, brushing a stray copper curl out of her face and adjusting her oversized shirt slightly.

Xellis gave a wide grin when he sensed her leave her position. It had been so long since he could toy with someone like that. It was… fun. Unexpected. Tricky. He loved it.
He spun around on his heel, watching as she walked the other direction off in the distance. Such a shame she wanted to leave, really, since he had only made her slightly uncomfortable.
Although Xellis appreciated her haste— he didn’t realize he had had that big of an effect. Even so, he wasn’t done yet.
With a quick glance around to see if anyone was looking, he snapped his fingers and in an instant, he was walking almost directly behind the “demon.” Perhaps too close, but as he leaned forward and whispered, it added to the almost sensually creepy feeling he was going for.
“Hey~,” he purred teasingly. His eyes were half-set and he still held that playful grin, his hands clasped behind his back but his posture still cocky.
This wasn’t the smartest idea, being this close to a demon that could almost probably maybe kill him… easily. Although he hoped the human form took away some claws or fangs or whatever.
Now that he was closer, however, he could take in some of her features, unlike the just quick glance before.
She was certainly something— coppery hair that held sort of a rusty color and eyes as black as the manor’s night. She was… enticing? Pretty? Yeah, at least Xellis would admit it.
Well, by demon standards.
Or human standards.
Or just standards.
The only other time Xellis had seen a demon was when he was just a baby cresting a million years, but the figure had been cold and almost monster-like. The demon of revenge, Zayanzar had told him. It was basic human nature, so of course, Xellis had been interested.
But now, on the mortal realm, this “demon” looked nothing like a monster. Far from it.
And, then again, he wasn’t even sure if she was a demon.
Although with his churning stomach, he held a suspicion. Even so, he’d find out soon enough.
So he kept his grin plastered on.

@gracehustle

Tastriuth let out a relieved sigh as she walked, the fiery feeling in her veins diminishing with every step away from the mystery man even as her headache pounded with every step. It was too soon to decide if he hadn't noticed her though, meaning her guard was going to be up until the feeling vanished.
Luck seemed to be against her though as she took one more step.
The feeling came rushing back, hitting her almost like a wave as it made her audibly hiss out a string of curses that were far from appropriate. It was the last thing she got to say before she heard a purring voice in her ear. It was enough to startle her, and her reaction was just as appropriate.
Instantly she spun to face the mystery boy from before, a fierce scowl on her face as she looked up at him. "What do you want?" Her arms were crossed as she did so and the firey feeling stayed a steady burning deep in her veins.
As much as she didn't want to, she found herself studying the young man's face. She didn't bother lying to herself and claiming that he wasn't attractive, instead, she just shoved the feelings down and studied him with her scowl. He looked human enough, with reddish-gold hair that was quite similar to her own and a cocky grin that most young human men had mastered. The only thing that set her off was his eyes. They looked normal, but the coloring was rare in mortals, leading her to believe her assumption was correct about his origins as a deity of some sort.
Well, that and how he had magically appeared behind her only seconds after she had watched him walk in the opposite direction.
Now she just had to figure out what he wanted and why he was so intent on bothering her.

@PaperHats business

If anything, Xellis’ smile calmed down to a sort of sweet simper, his eyes twinkling with juvenile pleasure. Yes. This was very fun.
As she turned around, he didn’t bother stepping back to give her room. In fact, he leaned slightly closer, embracing the burning fire within his veins. It rushed through his entire body like adrenaline, the heat so great it almost felt ice cold. Although it didn’t hurt— just throbbed a sort of uncomfortable flash every moment.
Although his smile never wavered. Even when she growled out the phrase in question.
Raising an eyebrow, he cocked his head. What did he want? In truth, he didn’t really know. The heat was enough to tell she wasn’t originally of this world. Well, either that or she was an insanely powerful mortal. Either way, he still wouldn’t count on the latter.
“What do I want?” he repeated yet again, his voice an almost melodic hum. It was almost as if he were mocking, though the playfulness of it grasped at each word.
Slowly he held out a hand to shake. If she was a smart demon, or even one at all, she would know to cease from shaking it back. Not only would it burn like crazy, it would probably end up with some other effect on the mortal bodies they possessed.
However, if she actually was a demon— and a thoroughbred one— maybe she would take him up on the handshake. They liked feats of strength, right? Then maybe the shake came off more as a challenge. Who would pull away first? Maybe so.
“Maybe I’d like to know you a little better,” Xellis cooed, hand suspended. “Maybe I’d like to learn the name of the mysterious dark-eyed woman who’s caught my attention.”

@gracehustle

"And what if this dark-eyed woman who caught your attention doesn't want to get to know you?" She replied, her voice smooth but holding a sharp edge of suspicion and overall distrust.
His hand laid outstretched before her, even at how close they were standing and Tastriuth eyed it calmly. Shaking his hand would let her know exactly what he was, but at the same time, he would be able to figure out that she wasn't from this world, or even from this plane of existence. Even so, it was clearly a challenge, and she was never one to back down from any kind of challenge.
Maybe it was pure instinct that made her slowly uncross her arms and grip his hand, maybe it was something different. Either way, the burning sensation both in her veins and now on her hand was close to as painful as touching ice was to a demon of fire. He was a god without question. But just how powerful of a god was a question she intended to find out.
There wasn't any way she was going to yield first though. This god would find out just who he had encountered – an extremely powerful demoness with high pain tolerance and the stubbornness to match. Now it was just a test to see how long he could endure the pain. Maybe then she would tell him her name, in reward for standing up to her, maybe she would tolerate his presence long enough to find out what he wanted.
Tastriuth locked eyes with him as she gripped his hand tightly, daring him to do something. The sparkle of mischief in his eyes now challenged by one of her own.
"Maybe this dark-haired woman would like to catch your name first. Before she decides to let some golden-haired deity spend any amount of time in her presence."

@PaperHats business

Xellis let out a mischievous chuckle, matching her grip with one just as sturdy. Not squeezing her hand— just tensely engaged in locked wrists.
So he was right. Demon, through and through. It was reassuring that his senses never failed.
Though his other issue now was the wretched pain seeping into this mortal form. It wasn’t new to him as a god— but the human body he sported was much more fragile.
That’s not to say he had previously engaged in some kind of… acts with demons before, but it was a small possibility. Just a small, small, possibility.
Sure, but it had been a long time ago. And the pain shooting forth from his hand just reminded him of those old days. Demons were wild ones, for sure.
Xellis’ smile grew more smug as she held his gaze. Now close-lipped it almost seemed as though he enjoyed the feeling resonating from the point of contact. Not saying he didn’t, but it was moderately unpleasant.
“My name?” he asked, his gaze almost… sultry. It wasn’t even part of his manor, but he did admire being a charmer.
“Falks. Enzo Falks,” Xellis answered, no sign of his hand moving. He was much too stubborn for that.
Though with another cock of his head, he crooned: “But… you can call me Xellis.”

@gracehustle

Tastriuth didn't bother letting go either, letting the pain thrum like it wanted to and cursing the weakness of a mortal body internally. As a demon, she could've easily dealt with something as simple as shaking a god's hand, but as a mortal..her powers weren't as strong, definitely not strong enough to mask the uncomfortable pain. At least as a mortal he had to be feeling some sort of pain as well.
Her scowl from before stayed quite strong, though as his smile turned into a smug one, rubbing in the fact that he was easily as strong as her when tolerating having his hand on her arm, it shifted. Not as much of a scowl as more of an interested and wary half-grin.
To be completely honest, Tastriuth wasn't that acquainted with being around or making physical contact with gods. She tended to ignore them, keep out of their way as long as they held the same courtesy. But now she was purposely locked in some sort of handshake with one.
"Xellis…" She repeated, pulling the same almost flirty tone into her voice just to tease him, "Nice to meet you."
It took her another minute to decide to tell him her name, the contact between the two of them becoming both bearable and more uncomfortable. To back down now would be a weakness though. And she wasn't going to let him win.
"Theresa Jorana," Tastriuth purred, studying his eyes once again as she decided to let this strange, confident, cocky god stick around her for a while, "Though you can call me Tastriuth. Now, onto the real question here. What do you want?"
