Idi grinned at her and went back to the knife. “So who are these for?”
“My brother. He sent me on a bunch of errands.” Elide shrugged with a small sigh.
Idi laughed softly. “Sounds annoying.”
"You have no idea, honestly I wish he would just disappear." Elide complained.
Idi hummed and smiled over at her. “But you still love him.”
Elide's face fell and she looked away, "Yeah, guess so."
Idi rose her eyebrows. “You don’t? What did he do to earn the hate from such a lovely lady?”
Elide shook her head a little, “It doesn’t matter, not worth talking about.”
Idi frowned but let it go. “Okay. I’ll leave you alone, then.” She smiled. “Sometimes I’m too curious for my own good.”
“It’s good to be curious though,” Elide said, shrugging, “It’s something I lack.”
Idi sighed. “It’s just a natural thing, then. I’ll have these done soon, okay?”
Elide nodded, “Okay. Tryin’ to get me out of your hair?” She teased.
“Nah, trying to get me out of your hair.” She smiled over her shoulder at her.
“I think you’re pretty nice, I wouldn’t mind staying her for longer then necessary.” Elide smiled shyly.
Idi smiled back. “That’s very kind of you. I wouldn’t mind if you stayed.”
“Really? Because if I’m intruding in your work then I can leave.” Elide said quickly.
“Oh, no no, you’re not intruding anything, dear. Don’t worry about it.”
Elide wasn’t convinced but nodded, “If you say so.”
Idi smiled warmly in her direction. “I know so.”
Elide blushed a little, “So, Idi, do you mind telling me a little about yourself?”
Idi hummed. “Well, I have already told you about myself. I’m not a very interesting woman.”
“Surely there’s something interesting?” Elide raised an eyebrow.
Idi chuckled. “I’m a woman as a blacksmith. That’s interesting enough.”
Elide cocked her head to the side but nodded, “True. Did you always want to be a blacksmith?”
