(Alrighty! I'll get that up asap ^^)
I can't believe them! Nyctos ran into his room and slammed the door, angry and upset. He'd asked his parents once again if he could go outside further than the gardens, and had swiftly and bluntly been shut down. They said he 'knew the rules by now' and said that he should just stop asking. The answer would always be no. Well, then I'll take it into my own hands. I don't care what they say. He headed over to his window, and after a minute or so of struggling, he managed to push it open. He was on the second story, but he wasn't about to let that stop him.
He poked his head out the window and paused before carefully turning to stick his legs out. He managed to get to where he was hanging from the windowsill by his hands, and then started to climb down. He ended up sliding down a lot more quickly than anticipated, and his palms were raw and bleeding, but he thankfully didn't have any major injuries. "Nngh…" He clenched his hands into fists to keep them from further harm and started running as quickly as he could into town, running further and further until he bumped into a man in the town. "Ah! I-I'm so sorry, sir! I didn't…" He stammered after he'd regained his balance.
Alis was running from the town guard again. Somehow they had managed to get wanted photos all the way out here which was honestly a surprise. Of course the only time that the guards can work together is when it's inconvenient for me. His mind snarked right before he ran into some small kid. "Apologies- Oh actually, please come with me I'll need a hostage if this goes badly."
"Ah-" Nyctos faltered a moment, obviously very taken aback. "A hostage? Can you keep me away from the guards?" He asked, nervous, but clearly not thinking about the potential consequences of this choice. "I-I'm actually kinda on the run as well, and I really don't want them to find me."

Alis cocked his head for a moment, looking the boy up and down before he shrugged. What's one more fugitive on the run. "Alrighty then, how fast can you run, because we're heading into the forest and we're doing it fast."
"I'm not sure, but… I can try my best!" Nyctos smiled brightly up at the man, glad for the newfound excitement in his life even if it was incredibly dangerous. "Hopefully they don't find us, because they'll probably assume you kidnapped me and that wouldn't be good." He heard guards shouting again and started to run in the direction of the forest.
"Eh, wouldn't be the first kidnapping charge." Alis shrugged before re-adjusting his bag strap and running after the boy, overtaking him after a minute and slowing himself to run at the same pace as him. "Almost there, I have a place to hide for a bit deeper inside."
"Okay!" Nyctos kept running as fast as he could, obviously growing fatigued pretty quickly, but still trying his best to keep up with Alis. Considering he wasn't really allowed to go outside and didn't have a ton of access to anything athletic, he didn't have great stamina, but was thankfully pretty fast for the time he was running.

After looking back at Nyctos, Alis rolled his eyes and waited up for him. He paused a moment before grabbing the boy and throwing him over his shoulder. "Hold on. If we get stopped, cover story is your my brother and we're just going to explore the woods."
Nyctos yelped a bit in surprise when he was picked up, but nodded at the explanation, compliantly allowing Alis to carry him along. "Sounds good to me! Don't they recognize you, though?" He asked curiously. "They probably recognize me, so we might wanna try and get disguises or something."
"It's just the guards we have to be worried about, most regular people don't care as long as I'm not actively stealing from them." Alis slipped into the deeper woods, wandering for a bit before he found a large tree that seemed to have grown over a fallen log, leaving a pretty big hidey hole to rest in.
"Ohh, I guess that makes sense… most people haven't seen me before anyway, so I doubt that anybody who isn't a guard would recognize me." He looked around curiously, his eyes filled with a childlike wonder. He'd never actually been in a proper forest before; only the gardens in the palace.
Alis leaned against the trunk and wiped his brow. "Jesus kid, you're a lot heavier than you look." He muttered, taking a swig from the waterskin at his hip. "Why the hell are the guards after you? Did ya steal something?"
"Uhm… not exactly…" Nyctos rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, shifting when he sat down. "I kinda… ran away? And they're trying to take me back home, but I don't want to go back home. But I'm not exactly supposed to be outside in the first place, you know? Anyways, I don't wanna go back, so I can't let them catch me…"

(Mate, when I have the motivation for this, I will respond. You continuing to bump it isn't going to make my motivation magically appear, if anything it's going deeper into the dark cave of writers block.)
