"No, I've been asked why I'm so short multiple times… I've never had an honest answer… Both of my parents are quite tall… My dad's taller than you, actually. I've always been short, so it's not like I haven't heard the question a million times already…" Chris sighed. He wasn't angry with Richie or anything, as he was so used to being asked the question, but Damion was right about it only hurting more each time it was asked or at least brought up. He never understood the issue, and he felt like people cared about his height more than his personality sometimes. He tried not to show how affected he was by that, but it was hard for him.
"If you say so. Anyway, there is something I have to tell you." Damion scratched the back of his head. "See, I was actually planning to fuck you, but because of your…sexuality , let's just say that's not in the cards anymore. Now don't go and run away I'm not gonna rape you, promise. That would be beyond disrespectful" Damion sighed. "There is still no reason for me to bring you home, since that's what I do. I've taken an interest in you. I don't lend my jackets to just anyone you know. If you have any questions for me just ask."
"Well, that definitely explains the jacket… Also, thank you for asking about my sexuality at first. I think it would've been awkward had I told you when you already had intentions to do something that I didn't want to do," Chris said. "Also, I'll let you know if I have any questions. You seem pretty nice, honestly. Sure, we've known each other for less than a day, but still. You've been really nice to me as of recently, so thank you. I didn't expect my second day to be as interesting as it was, but it was a good kind of interesting. You also helped me leave since I already managed to get lost, soo… Again, thank you."
"You know I think you're the first person who has called me a nice person. Probably because of my habits…." Damion chuckled lightly. "Anyway, we're almost there so we can talk later." His house was up ahead while his 3 brothers already made it. He landed softly at the front door. Damion let him down, unlocking the door. "I'm home, I brought a friend!"
His mom popped out from the kitchen. "Another one?!"
"Mom." Damion glared.
"I'm guessing you tend to bring a lot of people over," Chris said. "It's fine. Also, you truly seem nice. If you're going to say it's about your habits, well, everyone has habits that people dislike, but that doesn't make anyone a bad person. Negative traits come with everyone, and the positive ones usually outweigh the negative ones, anyway. Thanks for everything, though. I'm sure I'll like it here. Maybe you could show me around so I don't get lost here like I did at school? Thanks again for just helping me find my way out. The hallways ended up getting crowded, and well, I'm tiny compared to everyone else."
"Well, even though you're tiny I find it cute." Damion showed Chris upstairs. "I would love to show you around, but it would have to be next Tuesday because I have sports and clubs to do. You should join a club or two. What kind of things to you normally do?" Damion opened the door letting Chris in his room. "Don't mind the mess. I didn't have time this morning. I was rushing to school this morning." Damion started to clear his room.
"It's fine, really. We all have those days," Chris said. "Also, for clubs and such…I don't know.. I'm still new to the school, not to mention not even that accepted… You're a few inches shorter than everyone, and they all hate you for it… What is with this school?" Chris sighed. "Well, honestly, every school I've been to. My height seems to be a topic of interest for everyone, and not in the good way… I've been kicked out of stuff because of it… Not sure how being short got me removed from my old school's art club, but you know… It just…I don't know…makes people think I'm not good enough to hang out with them…?"
(Sorry, I've been busy these days and some family business was going on)
"That is a hard topic, my friend. I'm not sure. There are some clubs in out school who are…accepting enough. It maybe because you're an angel and most people in this school are demon with black wings like mine. Just careful if you want to join a club. Demons are really aggressive in our school." Damion was almost done cleaning up he only had to make his bed. "Once I'm done with my bed you can have a seat." He made sure his sheets were clean and placed his pillows perfectly. "There."
(It's okay! Glad you're online. I literally had a mini mental breakdown in choir and no one's online.)
"Even so, you've heard what I said. Even compared to other angels, I'm tiny. Yes, this includes the other ones at our school. I've said it a lot, my height has confused people for ages, not to mention make them hate me." Chris sighed as he sat down. "I know that demons can be aggressive, but anyone can in certain circumstances. I'm already used to the extra negative attention that comes with my height. I just hope that I can somehow blend into the background if there are some who would physically harm me over this. I'm not saying there are, but I've experiences threats before. As I said, anyone can be aggressive, angel, demon, human, or any other species."
(Tell me about it in pm)
"True, True." Damion sat on his bed and ten laid back. "Now all we have to wait for is dinner. I have a question. What's you limit to how much people touch you. I know you're ace so sex wasn't even an option, but I'm just wondering, you know?" Damion rested his hands behind his head and stared at the ceiling.
(I am.)
"Well…I've never exactly had anyone who loves me, as apparently being short is a reason to be hated, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm fine with things such as hugs and cuddles. Also, it's fine if you're curious, really," Chris said. "You're doing it so you don't do anything bad to me, and that's nice. It shows that you care about me."
Damion smirked, pulling Chris down to his chest. "Of course. Can't you see how fast my heart is beating right now. "I know that kisses of the forehead are fine as well." Damion did just that and gave him a kiss on the forehead. For once we excited and not the sexual kind. He felt this would actually turn out great. One thing that he needs to watch out for his needs.
"Yeah…those are fine as well." It was clear that, while surprised, Chris was enjoying it. To him, it just felt nice to know that someone cared about him and didn't hate on him for stupid reasons like his height. "I'm honestly surprised that someone like you likes me, but that's because no one has ever really liked me. It's definitely a weird feeling, but I like it."
Damion chuckled. "Well, what about your family, don't they love and care for you?" Damion placed his hand on his head and start to play with Chris's hair. He took Chris's hand and with his other one and played with it as well. "You seriously don't know how cute you are."
"My family loves me, but even they've been confused about certain things. I was always changing schools because they wanted to protect me. I was referring to people outside of family, though." After replying to that question, he couldn't help but blush a bit at Damion's following actions.
(I just completely forgot these existed sorry about that.)
"Well…" Damion paused. "Do you mind sharing about the people outside you family or should that be for when I know you a bit more? If you aren't don't worry about it." The only thing that focused Damion's mind was beauty laying next to him. Of course, he's never done this before,s o he taking what he knows from all the romantic movie he's watched over the years. Seemed to be working.
(Seems to be everyone when they role play with me. I rarely use this site at this point.)
"I mean, my life was always weird. They were even hated by others just because of me. Yeah…I didn't know being short could be such an issue, but apparently it is… Whoever decided that all angels and really nice was completely wrong. A lot of them are judgemental and incredibly rude. It's not like I ever did anything wrong…" Chris said. "I mean, I never did anything to them… It's so weird to have someone outside of my family love me…and I only find this weird because of everything growing up."
(Same, but it's still fun)
Damion smiled lightly. Then he calmed himself down before getting his hopes up. "When you said people who love you outside of your family did you me?" Damion let a grin spread across his face once more. Of course he couldn't stop smiling at the thought. He still wondering why the boy was making him feel this way, but he was wan't opposed to it either.
(I can make a forum and no one will reply, and then most ones I'm on die. It's why I'm barely online these days.)
"Of course I meant you. You truly are the only one outside of my family who doesn't hate me for completely stupid reasons. It's just nice to know that there's someone out there who actually likes me for how I am." Chris couldn't help but smile as he said that. "I'm really glad that I met you, Damion."
"You make me so happy you know that?" Damion smiled, lightly squeezing his hand.
"Boys, dinners ready!" His mom called. The little brother rushed downstairs tripping over the other and soon stumbling down the stairs.
There was a loud thump and Damion winced. "That must have hurt. They're so reckless, I swear. Also, I want to take you out on a date. I know we're not technically dating, yet. I just want to show you that I really like you, so…" Damion bit his lip. "…will you go on a date with me?"
"I…I've never been on a date before…though that's way more than obvious… Anyways…I'd be more than willing to go on one with you…" Chris couldn't help but smile a bit at the thought of what was to come. Finally being loved by someone who wasn't a family member truly felt nice. "I can already tell that you really like me, though.. I may not have experience with this, but I can tell you like me a lot. People avoid me, but I still catch on to events in their lives sometimes. It's just a part of going to school, or so I think."
"Yes!" Damion jumped off the bed and held out his hand. "Time for dinner." Damion's heart was beating so fast. He didn't know why. Usually he would invite them in, they would have some fun, and then never speak to each other again. "If it helps, I've never been on a date before either." He chuckled.
"Well, I guess we're both experiencing one for the first time. However, it surprises me that you've never been on one. You seem like a generally nice person, but what can I say? Outside of family, you are the only one who shows kindness towards me…" Chris looked up at him. "I won't ask why you haven't, though, and I apologize if it's awkward."
"Are you gonna take my hand or just leave me hanging?" Damion smirked. "And it's just usually when I do bring someone over it's just a one-night stand. It never really turns into something you know. It's also the fact that I never wanted it to turn into something more either. It doesn't matter."
"Oh, yeah, um, sorry…" Chris immediately grabbed Damion's hand. "I'm still getting used to this sort of thing.. Anyways, I don't entirely understand bringing someone over when you don't want to be with them for more than the time that they're over, but I'm glad it's not like that with me."
