Ace smiled softly, his own eyelids fluttering slightly. He tended to look so calm when asleep. Of course, the thought of it being creepy never really crossed his mind. It couldn't really be creepy if he didn't know about his existence. He hummed softly, wings shifting quietly behind him.

Jeremiah slept like the dead, buried under the covers as he slept. He knew he needed to wake up sooner or later for school, or else Carter was going to pour water all over him or annoy him until he gets out of bed. He woke up before his alarm woke him up and looked around sleepily through one eye, yelping in surprise and almost falling off the bed when he saw someone sleeping next to him. "The hell…?"

Ace glanced behind him, thinking he still couldn't see him. He brushed a lock of curly brown hair out of his face, brows furrowing slightly confusion. "Odd, doesn't seem to be anything there…"

Jeremiah quickly backed away from the person, still looking very confused. "You-who the fuck are you?"

The realization quickly dawned on him that he could be seen. "Oh… you can see me?" He asked, sitting up suddenly.

"Yes, I can see you. Now, tell me who the hell you are or I will call the cops on you." Jeremiah threatened.

"My- my name is Ace, um- are you sure you can see me? This isn't some weird dream?" He asked, wings fluttering nervously.

"I didn't ask for your name. Tell me who you are now, humans don't glow like that."

"Well-u-um… how much would you believe me?" He shrunk back slightly, having no clue as to what he was supposed to do in this situation.

"Depends on what you're going to say." Jeremiah answered, trying to get as far as possible from Ace.

"…I'm an angel…" He murmured, shivering slightly.

"Excuse me?" Don't angels only exist in books and movies?" Jeremiah asked, looking even more confused now.

"It's a… long story. Millennium long." He said, stepping back.
