“I haven’t heard any, anyway. I haven’t been in New York for too long,” Ollie shrugged a shoulder, watching Nico carefully, “I’m Ollie, it’s nice to meet you.” He eyed the bike warily, gaze flicking from it to the other boy.
“I haven’t heard any, anyway. I haven’t been in New York for too long,” Ollie shrugged a shoulder, watching Nico carefully, “I’m Ollie, it’s nice to meet you.” He eyed the bike warily, gaze flicking from it to the other boy.
"Want to check out the diner or nah. If not I can wait with you here for your friends." He shrugged
Ollie shook his head, “I wouldn’t necessarily class them as friends, exactly.” He sighed, biting his bottom lip before he walked closer.
Nico smiled "well then Ollie, leta go!"
Ollie smiled back, climbing onto the bike after Nico. He wrapped his arms around his chest so he wouldn’t fall off.
Nico put his helmet on Ollie and sped down the road. Some time later they stopped at the diner and Nico turned the engine off and smiled "we are here."
Ollie smiled back, taking the helmet off and handing it back to Nico, "Nice place." He turned to look at the diner, actually quite impressed.
"Wait till you try the food." He grinned and walked inside. Already the diner had a decent crowd. Nico could spot a few familiar faces and quite a few new ones. He waved to the main waitress and found an empty booth in the back "come here, this is the best place to sit, the night sky looks perfect from here." He said
Ollie followed, carefully moving through the sea of people as he kept up with Nico. He slid into the booth, looking up at the sky and smiling, "You were right… the sky does look pretty perfect."
He smiled as the waitress came over "hello boys, what can I get for ya?" She asked. Nico looked over at Ollie "choose whatever, my treat." He said
Ollie's eyes widened a little, "A-Are you sure?" He looked from the menu to Nico, "Because I have my own money.."
Nico looked at him pointedly "technically, I stoped you away from the party so let me treat you. If you dont choose something, I'll choose for you." He replied
Ollie chewed on his bottom lip and nodded, looking down at the menu again, “I guess I’ll just have a coke and… some chips.”
"I'll have a iced tea and chicken nuggets." He smiled and handed his menu back to the waitress who nodded and walked off to make their order
He looked to Nico and smiled softly, and shyly leaning forwards against the table, "S-So… Can you tell me a little about yourself, p-please?"
"Well I've been a foster kid almost my whole life, I have a bike, like Huskies, and have Trypophobia
"Trypophobia?" His head tilted to the side a little.
"Fear of irregularly shaped holes." He shuddred
He nodded a little, "Weird… I never knew that was a phobia."
"I didnt either until someone pointed it out." Juat then the waitress returned with their orders "here you go, enjoy." She said straight faced and then left
Ollie raised a brow at her, not even given enough time to thank you before she left. But he turned back to his food anyway.
"Dig in, it's one of my favourite places to come and eat. Tell me about yourself." He said, taking a bite of his nuggets
Ollie nibbled on a chip before he answered, "Well, I'm English, I-I'm a singer, I love cats an I hate crowded spaces… and loud ones."
"Nice, do you like beaches or no? They can crowded sometimes." He asked curiously
Ollie shrugged a shoulder, “Th-They’re okay… depends on the beach and the time of day.”
