Uh, I just post what's on my mind, I don't generally have a set length but I can go on sometimes so don't feel like you have to match me. Actually, what will be the plot holding up the main plot? We've already figured out the main plot, but like, what's our antagonist? A rival kingdom? A reverse chosen one scenario? Like, where it's a chosen one but for evil? I could go on and on about that one lol but I won't. Maybe a dark wizard trying to steal something important or trying to start a war? I don't know.
Alright! With length I usually do around a paragraph or so since it's enough to be interesting and stuff but not so long that I can't keep up with it aha

Maybe there's a war going on?
Cool! That makes sense, maybe a rival Fae kingdom? Or maybe another human kingdom with enough magic and firepower to be a threat to both if they're clever, which they probably are.

Well, I'd say a human kingdom as in this I'd think the Fae Kingdoms would be pretty much united.

Oh, okay! That's fine dude, but since I'm doing homework right now I'll probably be too busy for a serious reply so I might wait.
Kaos was bored at this ball. There would be many more, she knew, but she didn't want to deal with this right now especially with the recent influx of dead souls from the war. She walked to the refreshments table in the corner, stuffing as many small pastries into her mouth as she could without being seen, and then shoving some in her pockets for good measure. This food was good, and as there was no food in the Underworld she was pretty excited at the chance to eat even if she didn't technically need to.
Azalea was wandering around the ball, greeting the tall guests cheerfully. She didn't meet people from the underworld very often, after all, so it was definitely an interesting experience for her. She looked up and noticed Kaos from afar. The queen… my parents told me about her. I should go introduce myself! She smiled to herself upon making the decision and wandered over to Kaos. "Hi!" She chirped brightly. "I'm Azalea! You're Queen Kaos, right?"
Kaos looked up in surprise, a little pastry hanging from the corner of her mouth and cheeks full of apple and pie crust. "Mmrp?" she imparted, like a cat startling up from a nap, then swallowed, choking a little. "I mean, huh? Oh, princess. I… you snuck up on me." she coughed, looking around. A few people were staring and chuckling, and Kaos groaned. She had made a complete and utter fool of herself and she had no way of fixing it. Well, better to just deal with it quietly. "Do you need something?"
"Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to startle you." Azalea smiled sheepishly and held her hands together after a moment. She looked up at the question. "Hmm? Oh, not really… I just figured I should formally introduce myself since our kingdoms formed an alliance and all! It's good to know who we partnered up with, yeah?" She grinned up at Kaos, seeming to be in a pretty good mood. "I'm glad you're enjoying the refreshments! What kind of food do you have in your kingdom?" She asked curiously.
Kaos shook her head. "Erm, it is good to meet you then. And we don't, uh, have food in our kingdom. My subjects are either dead or Fae, and we don't tend to eat." she said awkwardly. Her front was a mess of powdered sugar and crumbs at this point, and her pockets were very obviously filled with pastry. "Do you wish to discuss matters in the palace gardens?" they would be empty right now, Kaos knew, and it would be safe enough to talk there.
"Oh, really?" Azalea seemed surprised to hear that there wasn't any food in the underworld. "That's sad! Food is great! I can't imagine living without food!" She exclaimed. "I guess that's partially because I couldn't live without food. I would die. Like, actually." She laughed softly, her cheeks flushing lightly. She hummed softly at the suggestion and nodded eagerly. "Yeah, sure! I can show you the way!" She turned and started wandering off to lead Kaos to the gardens.
Kaos nodded. She was a bit sick of being here, she felt like she was messing everything up somehow and didn't know how to fix it. Why was being Queen so complicated? Kaos didn't like it, but she was Chosen, she had to. It got… lonely, down there. Someone who was willing to talk was very nice.
"Alright! Here we are!" Azalea grinned as she pushed open the doors to the gardens. "They're real pretty, don't you think? All sorts of flowers from all over the world. Azaleas are my mother's favorites, so that's why she named me Azalea! Do you have a favorite flower?" She asked curiously, turning her gaze to Kaos.
"Dead ones." she said glumly, sitting down on a bench and moping. She didn't want to even be here, with the living, where she felt so out of place. Kaos was… wrong, for this environment, and she was sick of being stuck in places like these. Even with the dead, it was just so much stress on her and she was weary from it.
"Hmm. I guess they do have a certain eerie charm to them." Azalea smiled and sat down beside Kaos, obviously not catching the joke. "So, what did you wanna talk about?" She asked, resting her hands on her lap. "Fancy kingdom stuff? Terms of the alliance?"
