So, I got this idea from a thing on Pinterest, but I modified it slightly.
Everyone has soulmates. If your soulmate dies before you meet them, then they become your guardian angel, some sort of ghost that only you an see. They are the ones that protect you and keep you safe, and you know they are there, but you can't touch them. You can speak to them, but they can't respond.
It's sad.
But on the night of the full moon, if the sky is clear, the soulmates will go outside. And when the light hits them, the guardian angel becomes solid, and more real, until the light of the moon goes away, and the night is over.
On that night, there will be countless people around, dancing and playing and being with their soulmates, the only time they can.
Once a month. You can be with your soulmate physically once a month.
For one night.
So, I don't know where I want to go with this, all I know is that I want a roleplay about romance and sadness and emotions. Idk. It can be any sexuality.

(Give me like an hour or a day to decide my character as well XD)
Name: Caspian Winterthorne
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Caspian has hair that is so light it's practically white, with a few silver streaks. His skin is very pale, an unhealthy shade, and he has scars and black tattoos all over him. He has one silver eye and one blue eye. They darken and get lighter depending on how he's feeling. They get darker with anger or desire, and lighter with happiness or suppressing his emotions. He is built like a swimmer, slender and muscular at the same time. He is about 6'1'', and very handsome, in a cold way.
Personality: Cool and calm. He doesn't talk much, which makes people think that's he's stupid. He's not. He doesn't like to talk, and instead prefers to observe and listen. But when he decides to speak, it's usually a calm, very well-aimed jab. He is slow to anger, and doesn't like to show his emotions. He has an excellent poker face, and for the first couple years of his life his parents thought that he was somehow mentally challenged. He can be scary, and you don't want to get in his way if he's angry. He is cunning and ambitious, and isn't afraid to kill to get what he wants. He will do anything to get his goal, so you'd better watch out. He is very loyal, but doesn't trust easily.
Soulmate: Alicia
Background: Eh. Nothing special, really. Grew up in the foster care system, bouncing around from place to place. He's never had a true home, and so he never feels grounded, or safe.
Other: N/A
Name: Alicia
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance: Alicia has long raven black hair going down to her chest with the inclusion of a pair of green eyes. Standing at 5’3”, she has a slender and weak body type, generally believed to be because of her lack of exercise and dislikes of going outside. She looks relatively fragile and that would be right. She isn’t beautiful, not pretty, the only real world that would be associated with her would be ‘cute’.
Personality: Alicia is relatively shy and kept. She doesn’t talk much to people and isn’t a person who would initiate in a conversation with someone casually. Despite that, she’s a very cheerful person as she was raised by an extremely caring family of four. When she does indeed find someone she likes, she would be, 1) extremely embarrassed and 2) very nervous but would speak. She’s a caring person, noticing people’s behaviors is one of her main perks.
Soulmate: Caspian
Background: Alicia grew up in a caring family with her older brother serving as her best friend when she’s at home. Her family were all happy together and lived a regular lifestyle, not too rich, not at all poor. However, due to her habit of not exercising, she didn’t have a strong immune system to fight off the disease she got before she passed away; dengue. After weeks of struggling in the hospital, she passed away before donating her organs.

(I love her! You ready to start?)
"Can I help you, sir?" A woman asked, coming up to Caspian, her tone sweet.
"No," he said, not even bothering to be polite. He wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone, and most certainly not a desperate girl who wanted something from him. "No, you can not help me. I'm busy." He motioned to the pile of books in front of him. "Now, will you please leave me alone?"
"I was just trying to be polite!" The woman pouted.
Caspian rolled his eyes. "Sure you were. Go away, I need to study."
The woman left in a huff, and he smirked, before glancing back down at his books. He wasn't studying, not really, or, at least, not for school. Seeing Your Soulmate, was the title of what he was reading. He was 21, and still hadn't met his soulmate.
Alicia’s soul hovered around Caspian aimlessly. She knew that she couldn’t interact with him. Well, not yet. She smiled ever so slightly before hovering down to stand right beside him, knowing that he couldn’t see her. Getting a closer look at him, she gave herself a warm grin.
If anything, she appreciated the fact that he had sent the girl away. That was really nice of him. She had her hands behind her back as she wobbled back and forth, beside him yet so faraway.
Caspian shook his head and sighed. It was no use. He stood, and, putting the books away, left the library. His house, that he shared with several roommates, wasn't too far away, a couple miles, and he prefered to walk. It was cold outside, which was all the better for him. He loved the snow.
He stopped in front of his house, staring up at the building with a cold look on his face. He could hear music blaring, and he rolled his eyes. They were having a party again. Great. He was staying at a hotel again tonight, then.
But tonight was the night of the full moon. So, maybe he could stay up longer.
Alicia was as annoyed as Caspian was upon realizing what was going on in his house. She couldn’t do anything though. She looked up, noting that the sun will set soon and that tonight was a full moon. How fortunate.
She walked around a bit, nervous of what to do when herself was to be shown. It made her self conscious about herself. What if he didn’t like her? What if she wasn’t what he’d expected? These worries were up there in her head but she tried her best not to think about them.
As the sun started to set, Caspian sat on the balcony of the hotel room. He read a book he had gotten from the library, desperately looking for how he could find his soulmate. Other people had already emerged, starting to spot the streets and sidewalks and parks, waiting for the chance to see their soulmate.
It was tonight.
None of them could wait. They had been waiting for a month, and in a few minutes, they could see their significant other again.
The sun went down, and darkness fell, the moon rising above the land in a blaze of silver glory, bathing the place in cold moonlight. Stars sprinkled the sky, and the snow glittered. It was truly a beautiful night.
As the solar fade with the now revealed lunar, her body started to fade into reality. On the balcony, just beside Caspian, she stood.
Noticing how he was more focused at the scenery than herself, she pouted slightly. But… what could she really do? Examining this man for some time now, she understood his feelings well enough. At least, that was what she thought.
A snowflake fell on her cheek, causing her usually unfeeling but now feeling body to unconsciously squeal at the cold. She realized that this would most likely get Caspian’s attention… and smiled at him, rubbing her cheek.
The sound of a squeal made Caspian's head snap up, and he looked around. There, standing a few feet away from him, was a girl around his age, looking awkwardly at him, glowing faintly at the edges.
A ghost.
No, wait, that wasn't right. He shook his head. Could she be…
"Hi?" He said in a calm, slightly hoarse voice.
“H—Hi…” Alicia managed to say. The snowflakes which were falling on her hair gave her some chills and when the man said that something to her, she’d started to blush.
That was partially because she’d been dead for a bit and haven’t seen a lot of people other than him so she did get nervous. Just a bit too much.
"Who are yo-" Caspian stopped when she shivered and stood. "I am so sorry," he said calmly, as if a person had not just appeared on his balcony. "Here I am, questioning you, when you're cold." He took off his jacket and offered it to her. "I don't mind the cold, take it."
Under the jacket, he had only been wearing a black t-shirt, which shown up strongly against his pale skin. He ran a hand through his white hair, looking awkward. "Um… who are you, if you don't mind me asking?"
The girl accepted the jacket gratefully and covered herself with it, her face showing her clear pale red cheeks.
“I’m Alicia, just someone who’s been looking after you for the past month,” she answered with a calm smile. Even with a scenery as beautiful as this winter night, her eyes could only be seen looking at the man in front of her. How perfect of a night this was.
Caspian tilted his head, looking at the girl in front of him with mismatched eyes. "You've been looking after me for a while? Does that mean that… are you my soulmate?" He was pretty sure the answer was a yes, but he had to be sure.
