"Sounds perfect to me!" Sam laughed some, pushing himself off of his mallet and taking a few steps to the door.
"Let's see what's behind door number two!" He lifted it, swinging it solidly against the door.
"Sounds perfect to me!" Sam laughed some, pushing himself off of his mallet and taking a few steps to the door.
"Let's see what's behind door number two!" He lifted it, swinging it solidly against the door.
Karia waited, eyes wide with anticipation. He hoped that behind the door would be Mycah, or at least another hallway with more choices. Unfortunately, the empty doorway led to nothing but a small, empty room. "Aww, I was wrong!"
Sam let out a small huffed, then shrugged.
"Door number one it is then!" He lightly patted Karia's shoulder before turning to the other door, lifting his mallet again and giving it a sturdy swing.
Karia gave him a thankful smile, glad he had someone who understood. "Alrighty then! Mycah, here we come!" He grinned, leaning against the wall as he watched Sam attack door number one. Behind this one was a hallway leading to a single door. "We're getting doors within doors! Quite fun!"
Sam laughed some, shaking his head.
"Like some kind of nesting doll," he said, chuckling as he stepped into the hall towards the only door left.
"You ready for this? They could attack at any moment."
"It is. Rather annoying if we were in any sort of hurry." Karia agreed. "Of course. Actually. Wait." He placed one of his hands on Sam's shoulder. "Just in case we have to make a really quick get-away," Karia explained. "I'm ready now. Let's get 'em."
Sam paused, looking to Karia with a nod.
"Thank you," he said, smiling. He lifted his mallet, taking a moment to adjust before swinging it squarely at the door to take it out.
"Timber~!"
Almost immediately after the door was opened (or obliterated, depending on the point of view), a round of black bolts flew through the opening. Karia yelped and teleported out of their reach, taking Sam with him. He peeked around the doorframe for a second, managing to see two figures (one of them being the red-haired man) standing inside before another round of black bolts caused him to duck away.
Sam let out a small sigh, shaking his head some.
"Told you it was a trap. These two just don't know how to have fun. Think you can get me behind them?" Sam put his mallet in his pocket, pulling his knife out again. He just needed a second to do this- if need be, he'd do it to both of them.
"Hmph. I wish we could just have a nice little duel, two on two, without all those annoying black danger bolts." Karia sighed. "Yeah, let me find a good place." He peeked back around the doorframe when the black bolts stopped flying past, eyes scanning the area the two were standing in. Thankfully, they didn't fire back right away, which let him find a pretty good spot behind the pair. Karia dodged the black bolts again and glanced at Sam. "Alright, I have a spot." He grabbed Sam's forearm, smirked at him, and teleported to behind and a little left of the red-haired man.
Sam didn't bother looking in the room with Karia, nodding some.
"It's no fun at all," Sam agreed. He waited as Karia took them in the room, smirking back. He didn't wait, stabbing the red-haired man with his knife deep into his back. He'd have a permanent slice in him, but hey, who knows. Might just turn him into a piggy bank. He pulled his knife out as the man began to change, already turning to his next target to slice at his cheek.
Karia stepped back, knowing that Sam could handle it. He would be ready if anything weird happened. The red-haired man let out a yell as Sam stabbed him. Mycah– for the other one must be Mycah– dodged out of Sam's knife swipe and looked at the man changing before her eyes in horror.
"Allx!" Karia narrowed his eyes at the stranger. He hadn't expected Mycah to look like this– frizzy blonde hair and large brown eyes, very innocent-looking.
"Tell them I'm sorry," The man, Allx, managed to say, directing his gaze towards the other person.
"Allx, hm?" Sam said calmly, moving to pick the much smaller man up. He held his jaw so he'd still be able to talk like all the rest, turning to the woman. He didn't expect anything, really, but now he was curious.
"Tell who you're sorry?" He kept his attention on the other in the room, though, twirling his knife once. some of Allx's blood flew off it from that, but the rest? Well, it was getting sucked in.
The woman glanced at Sam and took a few steps backward, away from Sam and Karia. Allx remained silent, which Karia thought was very boring.
"What did you do to him?" The woman asked, pointing a strangely silver arm at Allx. Karia let out an angry breath.
"You're not Mycah."
"No." The woman responded, giving him a rather self-satisfied smile. "They're long gone by now."
"Well, that sucks, then," Sam said, sighing heavily.
"And I turned him into a doll, obviously. It doesn't take being a genius to realize that. Damn, we really are just dealing with boring, useless people today, aren't we? First Adrien, now Allx and this chick- seriously I did not expect Harina to be the most fun one out of this all."
"Huh. Maybe it's because they're all proud. Harina must care more about her life than her pride, which is why she's given us so much interesting material," Karia mused, tapping his chin. "Now," he continued, teleporting to behind the woman and pressing the sword against her throat, "where's Mycah, hmm?"
"I must agree, that seems to be the case. I'm sure I can change that, though. I've got the rest of time to deal with them, after all." Sam chuckled some, leaning against the wall as he messed with his knife, pressing it lightly into the now very permanent slot in Allx's back.
"And you might as well tell us, dear, you might just get out of this alive and your own soul still." Sam chuckled some, having to keep himself from rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, you do." Karia nodded, glancing at Sam for a second. "He has a point," he continued, turning his attention back to the woman.
"I won't tell you," She said, sounding quite sure of herself.
"Truly?" Karia pushed the sword harder into her neck. "Their life is more important than yours?"
"Yes."
"Well, that's no fun," Sam said, putting some. "So, what should we do with her? You could kill her and we could get the information out of Allx, but we can't guarantee he knows where they are. Then again we can't with her either, but if I dolled her would could each work on one of them until we got the info. After all, we can do a lot of painful things to them without them being pests and dying on us like this." Sam held Allx up for a moment before stepping up to Karia's side.
"What do you say?"
"Hmm… I think you should doll her, just to be safe. If neither of them knows… well, I guess we'll have to cross that bridge when we get there, eh?" Karia peered at the woman. "Last chance. Tell us and you'll get out of a lot of pain."
"Never." She pressed her lips together, which made Karia roll his eyes.
"Are you kidding me?" Karia sighed in annoyance. "Do it, Sam."
"With pleasure, then!" Sam hummed, shaking his head some at the woman and making a 'tut' sound as he lifted his knife up. He pressed it into her cheek and drew blood, pulling his knife away and moving to take the woman from Karia as she changed into a doll, holding her cheeks in his fingers to keep her mouth open.
"Which one you want?" Sam offered, holding the woman in one hand and Allx in the other.
Karia sighed and shook his head as he let Sam take the woman. "Oh, I don't care. Whichever one you don't want." He said, giving Sam a smile. The woman let out a scoff, though Karia could detect a slight tinge of fear or uneasiness in her tone. Good. She should be scared.
She should be, with what Sam had in store for them.
"Oh, this is a hard choice," Sam said, thinking a moment as he looked over his options. "There's so many different things one could do to them, especially with that slot in his back." Sam thought for a long moment before finally making up his mind. He offered Allx to Karia, humming some as he looked down at the woman with a devilish grin.
"Oh, this is going to be fun."
A small smile slowly grew on Karia's face as he watched Sam. How in the world had he, a frankly quite terrible man, gotten so lucky as to find someone just as crazy as he was? "Oh, thank you!" Karia accepted Allx, immediately turning him over and poking at the gash in his back. "Heh. I like this."
Sam chuckled some as Karia poked the gash, nodding.
"You're welcome. It's fun because it's a permanently open and sensitive wound. I just hope these two don't turn out like Aiden and just refuse to react to literally any of the pain. You'd think, just a bit! That your chest being crushed to the point it would have killed a normal human would be enough for a scream, but no. I'm still upset about that." Sam pouted some, turning the woman so she was looking up at him.
"You'll be better for me, won't you deary~?"
