Koi Winters was not a stalker, thank you very much. Aleah was just so pretty, and nice, and lovely, and they were just amazing. Okay, so they weren't a stalker but they could admit that they were a bit obsessive, which is why it was perfectly acceptable that they were staring through a camera they set up inside her room while she was sleeping. God, they were so pretty.

Aleah had never thought of herself as particularly desirable. She was attractive, certainly, but that was surface level stuff and they never really bothered with beauty beyond the standard glam and glitz cheerleading required. Honestly, most of their time was spent in a hoodie feeling gender dysphoria over their chest, or lack thereof that made passing as feminine nearly impossible. They were glad their parents accepted her identity, but they didn’t want her, quote, mutilating her body with foreign hormones, unquote. She understood that they wanted to protect them, but really they were only protecting their own transphobic interests. Also, even worse, they felt like they were being stalked. Clues kept dropping, like hairs on their clothes and cameras kept being set up in their bedroom that they had to keep dismantling. Fuck it, she was being stalked and she had had enough. They were going to find the stalker, and make them pay. Years of teaching herself how to fight had paid off, as much of a good little student as she seemed they were a stone cold killer and they’d do it again, to keep from getting their body assaulted by asshole old perverted men who only wanted to hurt her.

Holy shit, she's so smart. Koi almost drooled, having to snap themselves out of their trance. They bit their fingernails and smiled, they made sure to hide this camera especially well, placed underneath a pile of stuffed animals that Aleah never touched. They had finally gotten up the courage to leave a gift, having just dropped it off in her mailbox. It was a carefully wrapped gift of a few lipsticks and a lacy pair of gloves. It was a weird gift, but they had seen the other eyeing those shades of lipstick at the mall the other day. And the gloves will look nice on their hands! A little voice added on.

(Nah you can go there I don’t mind.)

(Not responding because I’m in the car.)

Aleah looked up when her brother knocked on the door, high as per his usual. Aleah's brown eyes scanned the package he was holding, he tossed it at her face and she just narrowly caught it. "Asshole!" she flipped him off, and he responded with his usual "You're crazy Mx. Beantown." and then left. She brushed a strand of straight black hair back behind her ear, and looked through the package. Gloves? And some lipstick she'd been looking at the other day. She didn't particularly like the color, she was more looking at it for her girlfriend who had just come out to her parents as a nice surprise. She preferred subtler tones, but Kristie liked bright, vibrant reds and deep maroons that suited her wild, vampirish personality. She tried on the gloves and to her surprise, they fit… well, like a glove. How would someone know her exact measurements, though? Then it hit her. A stalker. She ripped the gloves off her hands, tearing the lacy fabric, and threw them in the trash. She tossed out the lipstick too, it could be drugged for all she knew and she wasn't passing that on to Kristie. They scowled, they might as well pick up an extra shift to pay for the surprise later.
