"Well, there has to be a way to take this off, right? I mean I'm human, I can't help with a-a," She looked around, "a magical kingdom. Take it off." She glared. Why should she have to stay, doesn't she get a choice? But, she wouldn't mind living in a place like this.
He smiled and shook his head "we're all human, darling. The only way the bracelet comes off is if you accept the marriage." He said, walking around her. " I don't expect you to know everything about this kingdom at once, not do I expect you to marry at once. But I'm not letting you leave until you say yes to at least trying."
"Not letting me leave? You don't own me." Rin stood up and headed for the doors, but when she tried to open them they wouldn't budge. "You've got to be kidding me." She sighed and turned around. "I won't accept this marriage." There was no way she could, it was impossible.
(So I've decided the royal family all have powers that are inherited. So you can pick a power he has.)
"oh but my dear I do, anything and anyone who enters these lands is under my rule, no matter how long they stay." He said, waving his hand and teleporting her back to the center of the room
Rin was confused on how she got back to the middle of the room, but that also wasn't the biggest problem right now. "You're just the Prince right? I would like to speak to the king." Maybe he could do something about this. Rin looked out the glass wall and saw that the sun was already setting. Great.
Jay sighed with a smirk, this one was a challenge, "I'm afraid he won't be back until tomorrow evening, dear. If you wish to speak to him, you'll have wait till then. Now I'll escort you to your room." He said, pointing to a far door
Rin would have refused, but right now, she had no where to go. So she followed behind him, taking in everything that she saw. "You have a nice place." She smiled. She wasn't always difficult, but she also didn't like being told what to do. "So, like, is it hard to be the Prince? Do the people like you?" Rin couldn't really see the people liking him if he treated the guards the way he did. Does he talk to his people like that? Does he even leave this palace?
"thank you and they have mixed feeling about me. Most are fine with me being prince. That's only because they rarely see me. Others have stronger opinions about it." They walked down a nicely decorated hallway to set of doors. "This will be your room for now." He said, standing to the side to let her go in
