Farah leaned back in her chair, locked her office door, and rubbed Neva's back. "You have to be uncomfortable though," she remarked. "All curled up like that."

she shook her head, " you really comfy "

Farah laughed and cradled her fiancée in her lap.

neva yawned, letting her head rest on farahs chest

Farah sighed and stroked Neva gently.

neva quickly fell asleep, 'm..'

Farah shook her head and stayed awake. She wasn't tired.

it was weird, neva wasnt calm like always, her body started twitching, her light burning at her clothes. she was dreaming of the fire again

Farah instantly could tell something was wrong. "Neva?"

neva didnt wake, wincing and starting to shake. "stop.. stop.." she mumbled in her sleep

Farah winced and looked at Neva worriedly. "I'm sorry to do this," she muttered, and her eyes glowed as she shot a burst of energy into Neva to wake her.

neva screamed as she woke, cold sweat forming on her brow. " I- I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" she repeated quickly

"Hey, shh," Farah said calmly, stroking Neva's hair as gently as she could. "Shh, shh… It's okay. You're okay, my darling. It's me. I'm here. It's okay."

neva started to cry, nuzzling into farah "I'm sorry.." she mumbled

"Oh, my darling, don't be sorry," Farah whispered. "It's alright. I'm here. I've got you."

neva clung to farah, her heaving sobs filing the silence as someone knocked

"It's alright, my darling, I promise," Farah whispered. To whoever was knocking, she called out. "I'm busy!"

"its just me damn it let me in!" saul said

Farah rolled her eyes. "Are you okay with him coming in?" she asked Neva quietly.

neva shrugged" i.. i guess" she said softly

"You don't have to be," Farah whispered. "I can tell him to fuck off."

"n..no its alright.."

"Alright," Farah murmured, kissing Neva's cheek gently. "Come in!" Her eyes glowed as she unlocked the door.
