I love the idea of an egotistical Fae who thinks he's better than everyone and is a real nuisance to everyone, falling for a village girl who won't put up with his sh*t . I kinda want to do a full-on story starting from the beginning of their love story until the end. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! also i'd like to be the female character….:3
(I’m up for this! I’d love to play the sarcastic fae :D)
(Awesome! Would you like a template? Btw for some plot I was thinking of the Fae come to the village for maybe a mission or something…)
(Sure. And yes, template would be great, thanks!)

Name - Kayan (Kai) Rea
Age- 21
Species - Fae
Job - Bounty Hunter
Personality - Sarcastic and takes nothing from anyone. He’s fake-full of himself and thinks he’s “all that.” As a fae, he automatically thinks he’s of more importance than a human. Kai uses this ego as a fake shield for his true self-conscious demeanor.
Appearance: Blonde hair that falls in his piercing green eyes. He’s always wearing some kind of royal-looking garb and has a belt holding flintlocks in either holster. There are generally holes cut in the back of his jackets and shirts so his wings can fully spread out in all of their mesmerizing glory. His ears are pointed like that of an elf and his face is more angularly structured.
Gender. - Male
Other - He has phenominal aim when it comes to bows and guns, especially his own enchanted pistols.
(Ahh I love him!!! Let’s start this off!)
Evers had never really been the girl to drink or even linger at bar for long, but this order was important. 4 baskets full of white Adonis flowers were to be sent to the tavern by midday and Evers was determined to make that happen. She found the purpose of the flower petals a bit odd when the man who came into her shop the week before asking for them. He had told her they were for a proposal to his partner. He didn’t want anything fancy so he chose a bar to ask for her hand but then came back a few hours later to request the flowers. Evers shrugged and smiled, what people would do for those they loved. She shook her head and donned her crown of white magnolias and gold leaf, meant to symbolize her status as a woman as well as her innocence. She thought it ridiculous how women were ordered to wear these things. Couldn’t others see that she was alone and wanted nothing to do with men? Couldn’t others recognize her for her job or her fortune telling? Nope, just for how available she was for men’s pleasure. She sighed and gathered her baskets of flower petals as well as her cloak and tarot cards she kept with her in her dress pocket
(I love your writing! This is gonna be fun :)
“Yeah, take him to the city,” Kayan informed the merchant as he hoisted a man’s unconscious body into the back of a carriage. It was bound and gagged— but deservingly so.
“Tell the guards Kayan sent you,” he said. The artisan nodded and they shook hands. Kai tossed him a sack of coins, and without any further explanation, sent the trader on his way.
Under any other circumstances, this would have stemmed concern for the alignment of Kayan Rae, but the thing was, almost everyone knew his name.
You see, he was a bounty hunter. So the thought of him slinging gagged and bound bodies into the back of carriages was considered normal. Especially if those bodies were wanted criminals, such as the one he had just gotten rid of.
Kai smiled to himself as he watched the trader make his way down the path. It wasn’t even a question— yes, the trader would get the reward money, but Kayan really didn’t need it. His royal coat and giant wings showed his wealth, and he already had enough coins spilling from his pockets.
His bright emerald eyes searched around. He didn’t really know where he was— that criminal had put up a pretty good run. Giant elm trees reached to the sky and just a single dirt path swerved beneath his feet. The sky was growing lighter with each passing hour, so he assumed it was about noon.
Kayan shrugged to himself and proceeded to spread his wings, stretching. No one was on the path in order to see his mesmerizing wings, but he would be noticed soon enough. From what he remembered, there was a village nearby.
Kai glanced back and forth, smiled, then continued down the path, the cold afternoon air even colder under the shade of the elms.
(Ah I love your writing too!!!)
Evers had finished order and was now heading back to her home in the outskirts of the village. He held the sac of gold coins close to her chest as she exited the place. Whatever money she could get she’d god damn keep. She glanced up at the setting sun and then at the road with a smile. She pulled out a card from her tarot deck, the high priestess. She hummed and smiled, “why not,” she shrugged and decided to the long way home, not minding the trek home. She held her empty baskets in front of her and sang a soft song in an old language unknown to most. Her hair swung in front of her, much like a curtain as the wind blew softly
(Thanks!)
Kayan fluttered his wings silently as he walked— a small habit of his. The road, for the most part, was quiet. He enjoyed that.
He liked this peaceful evening. The sun illuminated him from behind, and cast his odd-looking shadow down before him. It was a beautiful tiger-striped sky of orange and pink, so beautiful it might as well have been singing to him.
But, that wasn’t the sun.
He squinted his eyes, seeing a woman roughly his age happily walk down the path. He began walking slower as she grew closer, her song almost mesmerizing to him. He smiled in delight.
“Well hello,” he crooned, his voice pleasant and melodical. As he approached, he fixed his pure white gloves, dusting off his dark green coat and flashing those taintilizing wings of his.
Evers glanced up and gave the Fae a slight nod, keeping her expression neutral. Her eyes lingered on his wings, slightly captivated by their beauty. She noticed the white gloves and casually pulled out a tarot card from the deck. The moon. Oh joy….. the Fae in front of her was as mysterious as the moon herself. But that also meant dangerous so she assumed those white glove covered something not so pure. But The Moon also meant passion, more of the…less innocent kind. She tapped the card to her lips and set it back in her deck. She shuffled past the Fae, careful not to make contact with him.
Kayan stopped as the girl brushed passed. He furrowed his brow and looked over his shoulder.
“Well, miss, where are you off to so late?” he asked, looking up at the sky.
He turned around and fluttered over to make up the distance. Due to his skinnier structure, he was a fast flyer. As he landed, he skidded into a walk beside her, his guns clinking in his belt.
Kayan looked her over with a charming smile. She was… beautiful. Captivating, even. To him at least.
He stood upright and walked with a sense of confidence. Before the woman could answer his previous question, he began again.
“The name’s Kayan,” he said as elegantly as he could. “Kayan Rae. And who might you be?”
She stiffened slightly, feeling the presence of the the male Fae beside her as well at the ever present guns he held at his waist. She wouldn’t stand a chance against him, not with those wings or the gun. “No one you need to concern yourself with, sir. I’m just heading back home from delivering an order. Thought I might take the scenic way.” She shrugged and kept her gaze forward facing. She shifted the basket casually to her non dominant hand, keeping her dominant one free and close to the knife she carried in her dress pocket “do you always walk with lonely girls to their home?” She asked, trying to keep her tone light and pleasant
Kayan narrowed his eyes, fluttering his wings. “Certainly scenic,” he said with a smile. “And no, I was just wondering if I could be of escort.”
His green eyes almost glowed in the evening light as he grinned over at the woman. He held out his gloved hand, trying to work his charm.
Evers glanced down at the extended hand and smirked half heartedly "I'm very much capable of walking my self but thanks for the offer." She scolded herself for talking so much with the stranger but somehow she couldn't keep her moth shut. "Plus, I'm sure you don't want to walk a lowly girl to her abode. You seem to be way too important for that simplicity."
“Perhaps I long for a bit of simplicity,” he said with a smile, taking his hand back and holding it behind him. “Life loses its meaning when we complicate it, don’t you think?”
He fixed the collar of his jade coat, the gold chain on it softly jingling in the quiet forest. He then brushed the dusted blonde hair from his eyes, having it fall to either side of his face.
“It does indeed.” She agreed, glancing over at Kayan. “Yet you don’t seem you have much simplicity in your life.” She had pulled another card from the deck. Death. She glanced at the card and bit back the urge to run from the Fae beside her. “So, What brings you to our humble little town? Assuming you’re not here for just the scenery.”
“Hunting down a criminal,” he mumbled, clicking his tongue. “You heard of Tawn? The guy who ended up stealing the queen’s jewels? I sent him off with a merchant this evening.”
He tried to sound as humble as possible, not doing much in the way of it. As he explained the last line, patting his guns, as if that’s not all he had done.
“Yes, I have heard of him.” She said, recalling the name being cursed by her patrons in the morning. “Sent him away dead or alive?” She raises an eyebrow at Kayan and glanced at him, keeping her eyes trained on his facial features and not the gun at his side “one less bullet in the chamber I assume.”
“Sure, one less bullet,” he said with a smile. “But I don’t shoot to kill. I shoot to talk.”
He said this, full well knowing he was implying he let Tawn go alive. Kayan wasn’t the type to take a life, but to tease it in just the slightest.
“Figured he needed a liberal end,” he informed. “The Council might sentence him, might not. It’s not my call to make. But one thing’s for sure.”
He shot his wings out slightly, his walk almost a skip.
“You don’t need to worry about him any more.”
“Did you know the reasoning behind the crime done?” She asked softly, knowing she was probably over steppingstones her boundaries “what if he needed that’s for his family?” She looked up at Kayan “would you have shot him if you knew why he stole the jewels?” Her voice took on an accusatory tone, sharpening slightly.
Kayan raised an eyebrow. “Love, I know why. I made him talk. Within two minutes of meeting and you think I’m a stone-cold killer? How interesting.”
He stopped for a moment, listening to their footsteps briefly. He glanced over at the woman.
“I’m afraid his reasons are confidential,” he continued. “As for family? He had none.”
Kayan narrowed his eyes, holding his hands behind himself tighter.
“Though, he had buddies. That’s why I’m here now. Decided to stick around for a bit and find em.”
“Don’t call me that.” She averted her gaze and shook her head “no I don’t think you are. I just think you sometimes kill without reason.” But he just told you what the reason was, and it seemed valid. She took a deep breath and shut her eyes for a moment “I don’t mean to question you or your work.” She apologized, fiddling with the basket handle. She peeked a glance at him, slight surprise on her features. “He had associates? Here? I only knew about him, no one else.”
