The Horsemen of the Apocalypse War and Death are business partners turned lovers. They're also known as the gods of War and Death of numerous cultures, thus they go by different names as well.

Preferably we could make this a queer partnership? That would be neat.
So, make your character when you’re ready!
Before I fill out the template, any preference on the type of queer romance? MxM? WxW? NBxNB? Other?
I don't really have a preference-
Okay! Well, my character will be nonbinary, yours can be whatever gender you want!
True Name: Arya
Other Names: Death, Anubis, Osiris, Hades, Thanatos, Hel, Charon, Persephone, Tartarus, Libitina, Mania, Mors, Pluto, Yama, Dhumavati, Kalma, etc. I’m just listing names of Death deities off of the top of my head and the wiki.
Personality: A very cheerful soul, happy to guide souls into the afterlife and care for them, especially after wars and famines and disease. They are something of a caretaker for their fellow Horsemen, protecting them from bad decisions and such. They are a bit oblivious to human customs, however much they care for them, and can be a bit seemingly emotionless at times, what with the having to distance themself from getting too human.
Gender: Nonbinary, any pronouns, and presents fairly neutrally.
Age: Old as death has been a concept.
Appearance: It varies, based on what they need to be for people.
Other: Idk.
Anyways, get your character up whenever you feel like, there’s no rush, and let me know if you need anything!
True Name: Hituteturu (hee-tu-teh-tu-ru) (Goes by Turu for simplicity sake lolol)
Other Names: War, Agasaya, Anahita, Ashur, Minerva, Enyo, Hadur, Indra, Menthu, Mars, Seth, Turris, etc.
Personality: Headstrong and always ready to fight. Verbally or physically. Of the Four Horsemen, they're definitely the loudest and pushiest to get their way. They're typically kinder to Death than Famine and Disease. As they recognize that death is a side-effect of war. Though seeing people die to famine and disease during a war ruins all the fun to them. Commonly however, people don't see many emotions of War other than the anger and chaos, however, with war comes a great dread, so behind closed doors, War is often dressed out, or sometimes even crying. Hearing the dying words "tell them I love them" or "tell them I'm sorry" millions of times can really do something to a person. Human or not.
Gender: Genderfluid, goes by she/her and he/him pronouns by followers. Though they/them otherwise.
Age: As old as wars have been around.
Appearance: Depends on who you ask lolol. Changes to be suited according to follower's beliefs.
Other: I havE nO idEA B)
(sorry bout the wait btw ahaha. Let me know if I need to change something)
(Cool if this starts as a slow-burn, gradually heating up? I tend to prefer slow-burns where feelings develop and deepen. It's fine if its not though, I'm likely just going to stalk. Might join as one of the other Horsemen.)
@tsunami your character is great! Want me to post a starter?

(I was intending for this to be a o/o but if you insist on joining, I’m open to the idea. I was thinking an established relationship for this prompt but I don’t know, whatever tsunami wants to do is fine by me.)
(I mean, whatever's fine. If you could post a starter that'd be cool. Though, sorry if I'm slow a bit on replies. I'm undergoing some stress rn. So ye- should all work out tho.)
(I get it. I’ll get a response up in the morning. I need sleep.)
(Mn, understandable. Rest well.)
(It's entirely up to you two. There's a lot of weight on that 'might'…. I get the stress thing and can relate.)
Death had come to see War, very tired and not at all prepared to handle the raging demon that they usually acted like. There was a large influx of the dead, and Death, while they could normally handle it, had also seen a famine and a plague coming in and that just made things all the more tiring. Unfortunately, they had to do their job, even when unprecedented numbers were coming in and they had to guide all of them, individually, to whatever afterlife they believed they would go to.
War had what one could call the most sour look pulled on their face. They were quite bored of everything, there was an unusual lack of war about. They sat in a chair, the balls of their feet tapping in impatience and their fingers knitted again and unraveled, over and over again. They gritted their teeth and let out a loud, frustrated sigh.
As Death walked up to them, War looked over their shoulder and met eyes with the other. "What is it?" they asked, their fiery and seemingly raged-filled eyes looked over Death, they seemed quite tired, bordering onto exhausted. Indubitably so.
“Can… I don’t know how to say this without ruining your day, but… well, the wars you have going on, while fairly small, are causing my workload to… ahem, be a bit higher than I’d like. If you could possibly cut back by about ninety percent? Or above, would be better,” Arya said, removing the cloak that folded them in darkness and sitting down, bleached bones rattling.
The Horsemen lowered their brows slightly at the request of Arya, but soon released the sour face and sighed. They saw no point in refuting it as they normally would. All people deserved breaks at some point… they supposed. With this decision, they nodded gently to show compliance.
"Fine, I'll cut some of the wars off. You should see a decrease in the death toll on my part here soon," they promised, "is there anything else you want from me?" they inquired, "If not, you should definitely talk to Disease next."
Turu ran a strong, steady hand through their hair and sighed. They could see the stress and uneasiness on Arya's face. The other three Horsemen's thing typically did cause large amounts of death. Causing Death to really have to work the hardest. It made them feel slightly bad, and they decided to mutter out a quick apology. "And I suppose.. I'm sorry."
"You can't help it. You shouldn't need to help it." Arya put a pale boned hand over Turu's and sighed. "I'll talk to Famine and Pestilence next. I care about you, you know? I'll… I can't stop people from dying, but I'll try to keep my own toll at bay for now." their voice was soft now, sensitive.
