”Oh,” Felix answered, feeling a bit dumb. ”So… I guess we’re partners on this, huh?” He tried to lighten the mood a bit.
”Oh,” Felix answered, feeling a bit dumb. ”So… I guess we’re partners on this, huh?” He tried to lighten the mood a bit.
"Yeah." Obsidian replied. The interviewer spoke up.
"Contracts, lovelies." She replied, handing them two papers.
Felix took his contract, reading through the pages with an attentive look on his face. He didn’t want to sign something that he hadn’t looked through carefully first. He looked over at Obsidian. She seemed to be fine with the terms and conditions so far.
Obsidian took it, and started to read through it with a look of care on her face.
She signed the required spots, and handed it in.
Felix signed the contracts. ”If you try to trick me…” He warned the interviewer. Threathening your employer might not be the best first move, but he hated when people thought that they could trick him into things he didn’t really want to agree to. He had had enough of that from his mom when he was younger. He gave her the contracts, trying his best to stay cool.
Obsidian had seemingly vanished into thin air.
She however, was waiting right outside the hall, arms folded loosely around herself.
Felix put his hands into the pockets of his leatherjacket as he walked out the hallway. The cold metal of his armyknife felt familiar as he grabbed it. He liked to fidget with it whenever he was bored, or nervous. Right now, it was more of the last alternative.
Obsidian chuckled, looking down at him. He looked rather wound up. She flashed him a devilish smile.
"You ready to set off?"
Felix smirked and tilted his head a bit as he looked up at her. ”Do I have any other choice, really?” He needed the money. He couldn’t loose this chance.
"That's relatable." She replied, stuffing her hands into the deep pockets of her custom elongated, baggy women's denim jeans.
”Yup.” Felix walked out the door, out into the parking lot where his beauty was waiting for him. His precious motorbike, a brand new Honda Shadow. ”What’s your ride?” He called over to Obsidian.
(And so the obsessing goes on lol…)
(Cool.)
Obsidian stood admiring the bike, it was far to small for her, but very cool.
"My ride is money." She replied, walking to a long, low-to-the-ground limousine a few spots away from the bike.
”No. You’re kidding me.” Felix walked over to the limo. ”This is your ride? Why not use your yatch while you’re at it?” He said sarcasticly.
"Wish I were that rich." She replied. She looked at him.
"That thimg magical?" She asked, pointing to the bike.
Felix stared at his bike. Suddenly it didn’t feel that cool anymore. ”Nope. Just a normal bike.”
"That's pretty ballsy. Just a not-so-normal guy and his non-magical bike against the world!" She complimented.
Felix laughed. ”Yeah, that’s pretty much what I’m trying to go for.” He looked over at the limo again. ”So… does that thing have a chauffeur as well, or are you driving it?”
"It has a chauffeur." She replied, stepping inside the vehicle, and looking at him.
"Next fuel up point?" She asked
"Sure." Felix got on his motorbike, put his helmet on and got the engine running. "Mission officially started, then."
Obsidian nodded, shutting the door. The limousine crawled out of the huge parking lot slowly.
Felix was right behind her. Impatiently he waited for the limo to get out.
The limo pulled out of the parking lot and shot off like a bullet through the streets
Felix was not prepared for that. He hit the gas and raced the bike with a roaring sound until it was just behind the limo.
(Time skip?)
(Yeah)
