Zoe eats souls but that's because she was a genetic fuck up that never should've happened and she can't live unless she constantly consumes them (she's kinda similar to Kikyo from Inuyasha)
Asura killed somebody but he saved the entire universe/multiverse from collapsing (and he regrets killing the person)
And Luca used to be a cool guy until his older brother was murdered. All of the evil shit he does is either in his brother's name or it's an attempt to bring his brother back. Or he's just being a dick
