“Mm,” she hums. “From your current predicament, yes.” She pulls back, closing her jaws. “From here, no.”
“Mm,” she hums. “From your current predicament, yes.” She pulls back, closing her jaws. “From here, no.”
“But you..” Dark eyes hardening he almost lashes forwards. “Let me go!”
Oasu close her eyes, chuckling, a soft thing. She then leans forwards again, tightening her coil once more. “Not if you’re gonna run.” Her eyes open.
He squeaks, but it’s more due to the pressure being put on him from the monster towering above him. Even as she’s leaning down, she’s still a lot bigger than he is. Finally, he breaks his gaze away from her.
Oasu releases him for the time being, slithering off so that she’s not surrounding him anymore. If he were to run for it, she’d easily be able to cover more ground than he could. A shame if that happened, of course. She waited for him to do something.
Oskar stumbles back, only now just realizing how powerful her hold was on him. Just enough to keep him in one place. He brushed at his clothing before glancing around, looking back to the cave entrance, or exit in his case. With one last look at the snake monster he spins around and begins to run off.
“Oh dear, oh dear..” She mumbles to herself, watching him make a break for it. She waits a few more seconds then launches herself forwards, circling around him and stopping right ahead of him.
He skids to a halt, attempting to find a way around, then realizes that, in her shadow, he’s trapped.
Oasu leans down again, this her head directly over him as she looks down, studying him.
Oskar looks up at her. “What..?” Are you doing?
“Nothing. Just a bit sad you wanted to run. You know, it gets lonely out in these woods,” she bares her teeth again. “It’s not often I visit, get to talk to humans for this long.”
“Oh..it isn’t?” You’re giving off mixed signals, he wants to say but holds back.
“Nope!” She pulls away, looking further into the cave. “Which is why I invite you to my home! It would be nice to have some friendly..” She turns back, sniffing him, “Good looking company. What do you say?” There’s not much of a choice.
Huh.
“O..Kay.” Oskar stands up straight again, beginning to walk down the cave again. This wasn’t how he intended to spend the day, being complimented by a large lizard. One that called him good looking, even. How could it know? It couldn’t see much of his features.
“That’s good! Happy to have you around.” She follows him.
Oskar looks at her for a moment, then back again. “Alright..so is this like a one time thing or…”
“Until I decide you may leave.” She answers in a sweet tone.
“Oh, hm, that’s nice to know.” Oskar kept his hands close to himself.
“It is, isn’t it?” Her cave was surprisingly well decorated, almost human like. Carpets and paintings and all sorts of things were visible. But if Oskar were to look behind him, she were to have vanished.
Oskar looked at the place. He came to the conclusion that most of the things in here were probably stolen by the monster that lived here…where was it? He glanced behind himself, tensing up. He didn’t quite trust her just yet.
