Boa stared at him for a moment, unnerved by the sudden change.
"You have a sister." It wasn't so much a question as a comment made from disbelief. "Do you ever get to see her?"
Part of him was afraid of the answer and the potential responsibility it would bring to him, but he had to know. Even if he couldn't see his own family – especially because of it – he was determined not to let the same thing happen to anyone else.

"Starla? Ha no. She's leading her own starship crew, in the seventh realm Galaxy. I don't know what that means but didn't fucking care enough to learn. Besides, she probably still hates me for some stupid shit." He sighed. "I don't want to see her anyways."

(I'm in the middle of a drafted reply to it, it's the Glad You Came one ^^ I'll have it up tonight or tomorrow, my schedule's been hell)

"Oh," Boa said, not really sure how to respond. he would give anything to see his family again, so it hadn't even crossed his mind that Ash might not feel the same way. "You're…sure?"
He felt even more hesitant now, not knowing if he was crossing a line he shouldn't cross or not. He didn't want to upset Ash.

"More sure than I am about having a dick!" He glared at Boa with a huff, ruffling his green hair and fixing it with a sigh. "Fucking hate her."

Boa drew back slightly at the aggression in the other man's tone. He couldn't even imagine feeling that way about his family, and it hurt to hear someone else who did.
"Okay, okay…" he looked away. "Sorry."

"Don't be. I'm not pissed at you. Yet." He shrugged, and looked at the plaque which was now on the table. He knew how the magic worked with the plaque, the way it made him. It was practically everything resistant, he'd tried time and time again to destroy it. He was just glad it was off. He lay there still in his lingerie as thoughts raced through his mind.
