"does it matter what you want?"

"Um, you're in my mind. It kinda makes sense, doesn't it?" Ray sighs.

"Just, please, come out. I want to get back to dreaming."

"fine." zander rolled his eyes, and stepped out

Ray scowls.

"Okay, slightly less upset now that I know you're hot. But who the hell even are you?" he sighs, running a hand through his hair to get it out of his face. All he ends up doing is making himself look fluffier, though.

He didn't even care what this man was. He wasn't paid enough as a person to care.

Zander scoffed and smirked a little bit "hot huh?"

Ray sighs.

"If you want I could worship you as a living god, once I know your name," he replies pointedly.

"I'm not a God but thanks, you can call me J."

"J, huh. Sounds fake to me, but whatever." Ray huffs.

"So, what the hell are you even doing here? I didn't make you, which means you found your way in here."

"you know, what I want you to know okay?"

"Okay?" Ray says, waving for "J" to elaborate.

"you want to know more?

"Um. . .yeah. You're kinda in my head, you know." Ray sighs, creating a couple of floor cushions for him and "J."

He sits down and waits.

"well I'm a dream eater if you must know."

"Well, that makes a lot of sense." Ray sighs.

He wasn't kidding, either.

"Are you like the Dream Eaters in some doujinshi, then, or are you entirely different?"

"doujinshi? What the hell is that?"

Ray pauses.

"Self-published manga, basically. But that's unimportant. What does being a Dream Eater mean?"

"Well I mean…. It's kind of all in the name."

Ray huffs but chuckles.

"Well, how do you eat dreams?"

"well…. I don't know, it's like a little orb and I just- eat it."

Ray pauses, then twirls some of his surroundings around his hand, forming a dream within a ball.

"Like this?"

"eh sorta but this one isn't real it's made up of what you think it is."

Ray smiles.

"Oh, no. This is an actual dream. I have a strange power: I can create and control anything in here. I'm God in here, 'J.'"

"it's a dream,"

"Yep. I can control what I dream, or make a dream." Ray says matter of factly.
