(omigod theyre fucking adorable)
Lian ran through the kitchen, avoiding the eyes of all the kitchen staff. She ran out the door, and then she saw the rain starting to fall. Perfect timing, she thought to herself. Instead of getting wet, she felt a lack of water. She looked up, and she discovered that Matias was holding an umbrella above her head.
(im sorry its not as long as normal but im tired and gotta go to bed soon)
(Can I do a time skip to the morning?)
(Thank you!)
The bright morning sun seeped through the cracks of Kaison's curtains. A damp pile of clothes lay on the floor, filling the room with the smell of chlorine. Aidan awoke to the feel of someone's fingers running through his hair. He slowly opened his eyes and turned his head to the side, his eyes meeting those of a hazed Kaison.
"My head hurts.." Kaison whispered so quietly that part of the sentence wasn't audible at all. Aidan's head hurt too, but only a little, at the back, like he had suddenly hit it on something. Ah, that's right… The pool. From the stench of the room it seemed like they had brought half of the pool back inside with them.
"I'll get you some water." Aidan murmured, gently kissing the top of Kaison's head. However, as he sat up, the sound of footsteps outside the room froze his body in fear. The door opened slowly, and the butler poked his head in.
"Oh thank god, you almost gave me a heart attack!" Aidan whisper shouted so as to not hurt Kaison's head even more.
An apologetic smile curved on the butler's lips. "Forgive me sirs, but I would like to inform you that the master and mistress have returned home early from their trip."
Kaison sat up in a flash, instantly regretting the sudden movement. "You're kidding me, right?"
The butler was silent for a moment, before he let out a soft chuckle. "Yes, I'm kidding. I just wanted to knock some life into you both after the stunt you pulled on the patio last night."
Why was the he even watching??? Both Aidan and Kaison screamed in their minds, falling back into their pillows with a long groan.
Lian woke up shaking, and a calming hand stroking her back. As she opened her eyes, she found that she had her arms wrapped tightly around Matias' waist, rather than to herself. She knew why she was doing it: for once she had someone to comfort her without consequences, and she didn't want to lose them. "You're awake," He whispered softly, as he realised that she had opened her eyes. "Danielle's out in the kitchen cooking breakfast, when you're ready."
The two men stumbled down to the sitting room, curling up on the long sofa. The butler brought in a tray of coffee, setting it down on the little table in front of them.
"I regret to inform you both that–" he didn't get a chance to finish his sentence because a car, with music blasting out of the windows, pulled up on the driveway. The music suddenly stopped, the door closed, and the handle on the front door began to rattle.
"That's Ania… Why is she here?" Kaison grumbled, running his fingers through his hair, putting on a fake smile as a beautiful woman stepped into the sitting room doorway. She had short, boyish blonde hair and a soft jawline. She wasn't skinny by any means, rather she had a curvy body that she wasn't afraid to show off. She wore tight black leather pants, tall white stilettos , and a short white peplum with a deep V neck.
Upon coming into view of the men in the room, she removed the sunglasses from her face, and a bright, award-winning smile graced her face. "Aidan? It's been ages since I last saw you! How have you been?"
Aidan smiled tiredly. "The same as ever A, I see you went on holiday. Where to, the sun?"
Despite being twins, Kaison and Ania looked nothing like each other. One was as pale as the moon with blue eyes, the other was tanned like the Sahara desert with brown eyes.
"Very funny." Ania rolled her eyes, leaning on the door frame. "The Caribbean, it's a beautiful place, you two should go there sometime." It was almost as if she was hinting at something, but Aidan was too tired to put two and two together.
"Well this was fun, I'm taking the bike out for a spin." Ania shrugged, slipping the glasses back over her eyes.
"You are not going out for a ride dressed like that." Kaison scowled, gesturing to her top and heels. "You'll break your neck in those heels, and if you insist on wearing that top at least have a jacket over it."
He was irresponsible, scheming, probably a drug addict, and definitely an alcoholic, but that didn't stop Kaison from ever caring about his sister's well-being. In some ways, Aidan envied him. He was always there to protect his sister should anything happen, whereas Lian could never count on Aidan to be there for her. Just thinking about it caused a hole to open up in Aidan's stomach.
Stop it, she doesn't need you. She has Matias…
As Lian slid out of the bed, she discovered that she was wearing one of Matias' very oversized jumpers. The memories of last night came flooding back to her. The song, running from her parents, driving here. She caught a glance of herself in the mirror, and her cheeks were stained with mascara tears, her makeup dark around her eyes. She'd obviously forgotten to take her makeup off last night, but for once she didn't care.
(Hey sorry I've been away from this, are you still interested in it??)
(i mean….idk
we could restart it, maybe take a different direction, but idk)
(We could, I think that would be a good idea, but it's up to you, I'm down for whatever)
(i am actually really decisive so you can choose)
(I think we should because I feel like we didn't focus enough on the lack of relationship between the parents towards the kids)
(yeah ok, how should we go about it?)
(How about back tracking to the party, instead of the two of them leaving why don't we see what happens if they stay?)
(do you wanna make a new one or just…like…ignore part of it?)
(Perhaps create a new one, that way we could come back to this one for ideas or something for future reference)
(yeah fair enough. im a little busy rn so ill make it soon/when i can)
(Honestly it's alright. Take all the time you need)
