So it's a story I'm writing, but I need motivation and inspiration. So it's about this 11 year old girl who somehow open a portal to a different world where animal people and creatures with magic live. Of course she a little girl and frightened, so she clings to someone. And that someone happens to be a 20-year-old magician, who's a bit cold hearted and tries to get rid of the girl following him. Realizing he can't, him and her try and find a way back to her world. Though the young girl starts to get a crush on him, obviously he clear rejects her. Rumors spread of a girl who can jump through dimension, and now some of the most powerful people are after her. Hopefully it will be better than it sounds I have a bunch of ideas and twists.

Background: Eden had a pretty normal life until she was 7. At 7 she was kidnapped and wasn't found for a week. They kept her in a dark room chained up. When police found her she was thin and on the brink of death. When she got home she had found out her father had gone crazy because of her disappearance and blamed it on her mom. He murdered the mother and got sent to jail. Eden then went and lived with her older cousin, who has been super kind to her and treated her like her own. She, to this day hates the dark.
