Name: Devlin Chase.

Nickname(s): Dev.

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/478859372876199634/

Flaws: Blunt, straight-forward, doesn't cooperate, slight temper issues.

Personality: Devlin is a quiet, brooding character. Although he can get angered easily, he's quite gentle as well. He focuses on details and is more logical. Devlin is not a people-person–he prefers to be alone. (really, that's all I can describe.)

Others: Doesn't get along with his parents, has an older brother, has a Siberian cat named Ruby, surprisingly likes sweet things. Loves to binge-watch, stay up late at night, plays Violin, not much of a sports person but still keeps up his shape.

What Ruby should look like. (:

Name: Avalynne Cade
Nickname(s): Ava, Avocado
Age: 17
Birthday: August 26th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance: Ava has tanned skin, dark brown hair and olive eyes. She's skinny with a rectangular figure and a height of 5'5.
Flaws: Short tempered but like…she can control her anger so that's cool. Has developed self confidence issues over the last few months and is undergoing an identity crisis. Lies a lot…minus the part where she isn't good at it. She finds it hard to approach or start conversations with people she isn't well acquainted with. She trusts people way too easily.

@Zu~

Personality: Ava is friendly and approachable. She finds it hard to start conversations but once you get her talking, making her stop is not an easy task at all. She is an amazing listener and loves to spend time with her friends and her brother who's dead btw. She's happy and bubbly ,at least that's how she was before a whole lot of shit happened
Other: she loves animals (especially cats). She's building an army of stray cats to destroy the world
Since her brother, Setne, died four months ago, certain events have caused her to want to more like him….no….not just like him..she wants to be him. She needs to be him for everything to be right, for everything to be perfect again. This world is better off with Setne, nor Ava..or so she believes.

Devlin woke up startled, his breathing heavy and heart hammering wildly in his chest. He sat up slowly, sweat dampening his hair. Sighing deeply, Devlin knew it was pointless to go back to sleep–his nightmares made sure of that. He closed his eyes, only for a flash of brown eyes, large and wide, clouded in fear, to appear in his mind. He snapped his eyes open, growling in fury.

Devlin snatched his phone up, checking the time. 6 in the morning. How long was he asleep? He didn't remember, but it hadn't been long. His sleep was never peaceful.

Pulling himself off of the bed, Devlin decided to take a shower to calm his nerves, and most of all, to get the cries of help out of his ears.

Ava stared blankly at the pile of boxes she should have unpacked weeks ago. She had been sitting on the floor for hours, thinking about the same things she thought about everyday, all the time.
Her parents had recently decided that it was time to move from their "poor looking" apartment to a home "more appropriate" for the royalty that they believed they were.
This mansion, in Ava's eyes, was not a home. It was haunting. Every time she stepped out of her room, she was greeted by the cold stare of beautiful golden statues which were decorating the walls of this maze of endless rooms and corridors. This place was not home. It was empty and lifeless…and it was sucking the life out her.
Just four months ago, everything had been perfect. Her family had been perfect. Or had it been really? Her parents were barely ever around but she had never felt their absence because of him. Him; her dearest, sweetest brother.
Ava knew that Setne would want her to be happy, he would want her to move on from this tragedy, but she couldn't. It should have been her, she should be the one rotting away in a grave…not him…….it shouldn't have been him….

Devlin took a bite out of last night's sandwiches, opening the bottom cabinet and taking out a cat bowl before pouring food it in.

"Ruby," he called out in a rather raspy voice, a hint of a smile on his features as his cat bounced towards him, mewling softly. She rubbed her head in his hand, licking it before she began gobbling up her food.

"I'll be right back," Devlin murmured, patting her on the head. "Be good."

He grabbed his bag and car keys, exiting his house. Within a few minutes, he was driving off to school.

Devlin was usually the first to get to his class. It was always quiet and he liked to have time to himself. He took a seat, plugged his earphones in his ears and began blasting music, tuning out the already-silent atmosphere.

@Zu~

High pitched screeches of the alarm clock peirced through the silence and echoed off the walls of the empty room, knocking Ava out of her fantasy world and back to miserable reality. It was time for her to prepare herself for her first day in the new college she had enrolled herself in. However, before she could get ready, there was something that she needed to do…

@Zu~

You see, after many days of thinking, Ava had come to a decision. A decision that she desperately wished would make things better…it was the only thing she could do in such a situation. She could still hear the voices of her loving parents ringing in her head, telling her how she should have died in her brother's place…how it was so unfortunate that they were left with this useless piece of trash. Today, she was going to fix everything for everyone. Today was the day she was going to end Ava's existence and bring back Setne……or at least… hopefully…some fragment of his self..

Devlin had his legs on the desk, waiting for the teacher to come in. When he did, he wasn’t alone. Along with him came in a new student.

Devlin’s eyes observed him—his short brown hair and bronze skin, his feminine features. Devlin would have been convinced the boy was a female if not for the teacher’s announcement.

“Good morning, students,” he greeted everyone and then rolling his eyes when only a few students greeted him back. “We have a new student today, if you can’t tell already. He’s new to town so I hope you all get along with him.”

Devlin rolled his eyes and turned his attention away.

“Would you like to introduce yourself?” The teacher asked the boy expectantly.
