Yrene was standing in the back of the small room, hidden in a corner.
She'd started this meeting with three others, but had quickly gotten overwhelmed by the noise so she'd slipped away, leaving everyone else to debate.
The point of the meeting had been to learn who else was as fed up with Chase and the New German republic as she was. She'd found people, alright, but they were all so bright and over all just. . . noisy.
She hated that she couldn't stand the noise. She wanted to be able to comment. But she couldn't, so she was just hiding.
They seemed to be discussing something about the status quo of their group. She hoped she wouldn't be the leader.
