"Just small talk. Something to do other than drawing." Griffin nodded. "I mean, I can stop talking if you want me to."
"Just small talk. Something to do other than drawing." Griffin nodded. "I mean, I can stop talking if you want me to."
"Oh, no that's okay," she replied with a relatively nervous giggle. "Anyway, if you do go to the game, do you maybe want to hang out together?"
"Sure. Only if you'd want to, though." Griffin bit the inside of his cheek in nervousness.
Dammit Griffin! What are you doing? Why are you being so…so nice to this girl?
"Cool," she replied with a smile. Then she focused most of her attention on the sketch she was working on.
(When you are an artist and you are playing a character who is not…)
Griffin nodded and looked at what she was drawing before turning to his own. He bit his lip, he could never draw as good as he'd wanted to. He could see the image in his mind, but he couldn't draw it out.
(Bro your character is a MOOD)
The teacher came in soon after, carrying a satchel with loose papers flying out of it. He collected all the papers, then pulled more coffee-stained papers out of his bag and began to look over them. He then told everyone to take their seats and he would take attendance.
(Currently, I'm idea-less. If you have any ideas for anything to continue the plot, please feel free to do so. I do realize that I'm the one who made the roleplay and I should continue the story, but I'm currently out of ideas. For now, that is.)
"Oh, boy…" Griffin mumbled. "We have ourselves a messy teacher."
(Ok i'll PM you and we can talk about possible ideas)
"But yeah, I think I might go to the game. I wouldn't be surprised if we won or lost though." Griffin nodded to Piper.
"I'm Griffin."
(Thanks I couldn’t find the RP)
“Piper,” she replied. “Although, I already knew who you were.”
"Oh? How so? As 'the kid who's troubled'?" Griffin chuckled to himself. "Or just attendance? 'Cuz I'm pretty much the first one called."
“Nope, we’ve just had a few classes together. You always sit in the back though, so we usually never end up sitting near each other.”
(So im assuming this is dead?)
(Oof, sorry. I had to leave for summer break, and I'm on a limited schedule…It's fine if you don't want this to continue this…)
(Well it’s up to you, I’d love to keep going but I also understand if you want to quit)
"Oh," Griffin bites his cheek, fumbling with his pencil. "I guess I'm not so social then, am I?" It was his attempt at humor.
(Okay!)
“No, I guess not. Neither am I though, so it’s okay.” The joke was pretty dry, so she just smiled and flipped her pencil around her fingers. “I wonder, why are you taking art if you don’t draw?”
"My parents want me to be this big-time painter. So here I am, trying to impress them and tying to keep my love of music from them." Griffin shrugs, his scribble being a bit more…aggressive. He wished he could've just stayed quiet. Why did he open his big fat mouth? Just mind your own business, Grif.
"Wow, that's a first," She said as she let her pencil fall to the desk. "I always hear about kids who want to pursue art but their parents won't let them, not the other way around. If they're okay with you doing art, why aren't they okay with you doing music? Wouldn't the complaints be the same?"
"Well…that'd be true in some cases, but not necessarily mine." Griffin nodded, pretending as if it were no big deal when it was. What the heck was he doing, putting himself out there?
“What do you mean?” She inquired. Her tone was a bit awkward, since she was trying too hard not to sound nosy.
"Well, let's say that there's been some family drama, and I'm caught in the middle of it." Griffin answered, not really content to say more.
“Ah, Okay,” she nodded and pursed her lips. “What kind of music?”
