i've been vibing with this song lately and i realized that it could possibly be an excuse to get back into roleplaying-
i don't really have any ideas for what could be done plot-wise since i think there's a lot of possibilities for how this song could be used, so i'm totally open for suggestions and stuff jdebjdwh i'm fine with anything, so if you have some ideas, i'm ready to listen-
(ah yes hello
i'm assuming you're interested?)
(Yeah! Do you have a character you'd be interested in using? Or a general age range?)
(yeah, i have a character in mind on my end
as for age range, i don't really have one in mind, but i could work on getting one set up if that makes things easier?)
(okay, so i got to work on a character template and i got an age range paired for it, so here you go)
Name:
Age: (Range: 18-21)
Sexuality:
Personality:
Appearance: (a picrew is fine for this, but if you want, you could also type out a description)
Accessories: (optional)
Other: (also optional)
(Alrighty! I'll age up one of my new characters since I think he'd work for this 👀)
Name: Rem Reinard
Age: 18
Sexuality: Bisexual
Personality: Rem is very sweet and gentle most of the time despite his upbringing (abusive parents basically trying to train their seven kids for combat). He is very protective of those he cares about, and tends to be naive and clueless since he was 'sheltered'. He doesn't always take initiative since he's the youngest of his family and they didn't have high hopes/expectations for him.
Appearance: Unfortunately the only drawing I've done of him was when he was six but uh… here it is anyway lol. Just imagine him older adfgbjk
Accessories: N/A
Other: He's British, the youngest of seven siblings, and one of his older brothers (Lin) ran away. Lin was 13 when he left, and Rem was 6. Lin is now 25 and Rem hopes to see him again.
(hejbdjjd i love him- i also love the drawing, it's so cute ejebcbje-
and here's my character)
Name: Collin Pierre
Age: 18
Sexuality: Pansexual
Personality: They are usually timid around those they don't trust (this is primarily because they grew up in several foster homes, and a few of the foster families that took them in treated them poorly and/or abused them, causing them to form trust issues), but when they start getting used to somebody, they're actually a big ol' goofball, and also a little stubborn. When something bad happens, they're usually the first one to hightail it.
Appearance:
Accessories: They don't really wear many accessories, but they sometimes put some tiny stickers on their face and up their arms when they get bored (since they collect stickers, I doubt they're gonna run out anytime soon)
Other: Collin has a new family now (but since they're 18, they moved out of their family's house with their sister, who is the same age as them //they're twins//, but they still keep contact with their parents, calling them every-so-often.) They also collect stickers (like I mentioned previously) and uses them for scrapbooking (which is a hobby of theirs, they started doing it after they and their sister moved out, since they had found a bunch of old family photos before they officially moved out, and Collin's sister brought up the scrapbooking idea, and they've been doing it ever since).
(Cute! I love them ^^ how should we have them meet?)
(may i join or if not stalk this rp?)
(maybe at a cafe- i think that'd be a nice way to start things off :> also yw uwu
and @Alex_needs_sustenance this is closed now, but if you're interested, i can start up another one of these or we can move to dms!)
(Cafe works for me! Maybe Rem is a barista there or something?)
(ooh neat! that sounds like a great idea!
if that's covered, i can get a starter up in a bit, though there might be a short delay because of my online classes-
and alright, just checking, also yeah, you can feel free to stalk too, if you'd like!)
Collin had just left their parent's house after a prolonged visit, and they headed to a cafe. They were a regular in the few other cafes in their parents' part of town, but she hadn't been to this one before. They tugged on the neckline of their shirt, then opened the door to the cafe and headed inside. They balled their hand into a fist and rubbed their left eye since they had gotten a bit tired after the long visit with their parents. They headed to the counter and started thinking about what they'd get, but then decided on their usual order that they'd get at a cafe; a simple glass of matcha tea.
"I'll get that for you right away!" Rem chirped brightly when Collin ordered their tea. He was tired from working all day, but still wanted to stay chipper for the customers. He hummed a tune softly to himself as he made the tea; a song that he remembered his older sister, Juno, often singing to herself. He'd only left England recently, and he was missing his family, although they were already grown and gone as well. He shook his head a bit to clear his thoughts and returned to Collin. "Here you are. That'll be…" He checked the register, not entirely familiar with American money yet. "$4.37!"
Collin gently grasped the glass and set it beside them on the counter, then reached into one of the pockets of their jeans and pulled out a slightly thin wallet. They pulled out some money according to the amount they needed to pay and handed it to Rem. They then reached for the glass, still keeping their grip as gentle as possible. Collin was a klutz, so they were trying to be careful with the cup so that they don't spill it and make a mess. They spotted an empty table next to a window and placed the glass of matcha down, then sat themselves down and grabbed the cup, taking a sip of the tea then placing it back down. They looked out the window and watched some cars drive past, letting out a hushed sigh.
Rem watched Collin curiously as he made orders for the other customers in the store. They had hardly spoken except for their actual order of tea. He had another employee with him behind the counter who was training him on things, so he couldn't get distracted by Collin for too long. His shift ended soon after Collin arrived, and he took off his apron so he could leave.
Collin occasionally took sips of their tea, but otherwise kept staring out the window in silence. Their phone suddenly buzzed, so they pulled it out of one of the back pockets of their jeans, and looked at the notification they had gotten. It was a text. They read through it carefully, then turned their phone off and set it down next to their glass of tea. Once they were done, they pulled out their wallet once again, pulled out a few dollars bills, placing them on the table, then grabbed their phone and returned it to the back pocket they previously had it in, got up from their seat, and headed out the cafe. After exiting the cafe, they faced the left and began walking off. They eventually stopped at a decent-looking apartment complex and headed in.
(I'm gonna say they live in the same apartment complex aha)
Rem walked out of the Cafe a couple minutes before Collin left, ending up arriving at the same apartment complex. He had gotten the apartment soon after coming to America since it was cheap enough for him to afford, but it was still difficult to pay rent. He headed up to the first floor and fiddled around with his key, struggling to open his door.
Collin headed to a set of stairs and began going up- They didn't usually take the elevator, since there was a high chance of them having to talk with strangers on the elevator ride, so they normally took the stairs instead. They and their sister lived on the first floor in one of the less-busy halls, so that any time they need to exit their apartment, they could do it without having to slip past anyone, which made for fewer conversations, which Collin liked since they aren't usually social, especially with strangers. Once Collin made it all the way to the first floor, they headed down the right-facing hallway and stopped at a door that was at the end of the hall. They pulled their phone out again, which had a keychain attached to it, and took the apartment key off the chain, sticking it in the door. They unlocked the door and opened it up, then went in, shutting the door behind them. "I'm home," they called out to their sister, who was sitting on the living room couch playing video games.
(How should we have them interact with each other again?)
Rem managed to get into his apartment and locked the door behind him with a soft sigh. Having a job was definitely tiring, especially when he had middle-aged women getting angry at him for putting a little too much espresso in their caramel lattes. He flopped down on the cheap couch he had and pulled out his phone, also secondhand and not in fantastic shape. He didn't have many contacts in his phone, but he was able to text his siblings aside from Lin, so he was content. He hadn't seen his older brother in twelve years, after all, so he didn't have his phone number. He wasn't entirely sure how to track him down, either. but he figured that he'd find a way at some point.
