Gracie reaches out to stroke the ukelele fondly. this time she actually does it. "sure, but why are you asking me?" she asks confused. She had played flute but… well… she wasn't sure if she could take it with her, and she was rubbish at setting one up now that she had lost that stupid bloody eye.
(ah wait, i got confused….. i thought the nurse lady was named gracie….sorry ill just go with it i guess XD)
"oh, yeah i guess i shouldnt ask you…. sorry im a little tired."
She says turning to the nurse
"could i?"
(im so smooth ahah * insert awkward wink here *)
"I… I reeeaaally shouldn't let you…" the nurse hesitated. "i guess… but if anyone asks you where you got it, i didn't give you anything," she gave in.
Jumping on the chance, Gracie dug in the container for that flute case she saw earlier. Holding it out eagerly, she asked in earnest. "May I?" her eyes shone with hope.
"Sure," the nurse replied. "But the same rules apply to you as to Seo Hyeon."
Gracie squealed with joy. "Ohmigosh really? Like really truly?" she asked. She needed to make sure.
"Yes, like really truly, unless they take it away from you," the nurse told Gracie.
"nice!"
She says as she looks at Gracie replied to her, then walking towards the door.
"oh, hey….would you guys wanna have…lunch with me?"
She asks turning around to both Gracie and the cute guy in the corner.
"i… sure." gracie responded. clutching the flute case protectively, she followed seo hyeon.
Walking out humming a little song to herself as she put the ukelele in her room then they headed to the cafeteria.
"So….what do you do? Because we all know that we're not delusional"
She said with a whisper, laughing at the end as they walked in the room.
(question? Are there other people (like npcs?) with abilities like us?)
gracie's face fell. "well, if you must know, then there's really no point of living anymore," she said sullenly, falling into a state of depression once more. "society's collapse" she muttered beneath her breath.
"oh…. is that like….a code name for your…powers?"
She says as she smiles. Those words didnt really register. She didnt really care about society. She was ready to die anyone. In fact, she welcomed death with open arms.
"yeah, well, no. if you were me, you'd be depressed twenty four seven too." gracie muttered. "how can you be happy about death?" she spat, now in a bad mood, again.
Cerulean put down the keyboard and just left the music therapy room without further ado.
"what? I-I didn't say anything about being happy about death-wait! Can you read minds?"
She says a little confused, and now extremely paranoid.
(Oh sorry I didn't see your question earlier @_Write_Where_I_Wanna_Be ! Anyways not as far as i'm concerned, no npcs) "no, what does reading minds have anything to do with depression. have you any idea of the future? our society will collapse, and you seem totally happy about it, huh? didn't you just admit it?" gracie turned on seo hyeon.
(Oh okay, thanks!)
"Well…yeah i guess. I don't care though, I would rather die right here and now….im not in a good place, and according to you, no one will. So…why not die. There's no point in living."
She says twirling around and grabbing her food, looking around for the other guy.
(wait i just realized the nurses are npcs… so yeah there are)
"well, you know how i ended up here? i failed at that. twice. so yeah, i was, no i am still suicidal. they just have to keep me here to make sure i don't do anything," gracie responded. "it's not that easy, y'know."
"I know why they keep us here… They could care less if you killed yourself, they're convincing you that you don't have powers. Although they've had a bit of trouble explaining that bots as what I've heard. Anyway… If you killed yourself, you would be doing them a favor. He doesn't want us to believe we have powers. I've learned that over the past year."
She says while taking her plate and sitting down calmly. She normally wasn't like this. Happy, chirpy, caring, but something about this atmosphere…..and the society collapsing…she had heard some nurses talking about it. She had gotten used to, and ready for the fact that it will. Whether it was someone all-knowing or what, she would believe it even if it was said by a child. Society was a dump full of trash anyway….waiting to be burned to smithereens.
"Let's try to hatch an escape plan!" Gracie said suddenly. She didn't know where she got that idea, but she thought it was a good idea. At least it lifted her depression a little bit.
Surprised by how well she was taking the fact that she just killed herself that it would be a help to everyone but she managed to let out a smile.
"Okie dokie, what's your plan hot stuff?"
"I… didn't think of one?" Gracie tried to say it as innocently as possible.
"Heh…you're kind of adorable."
She says with a smile as she motions for her to sit in front if her. The metal chairs and tables weren't very fun, but she wasn't gonna complain.
Gracie takes a seat, hesitant. "I guess…" All the anger had flooded out of her, and the depression came back.
