Hello I'm interested
Do you happen to have any more details?
Hello.
Yes.
He comes home from a war (can be real or made up, doesn't matter). He's been diagnoised with PTSD as well as a major depressive disorder (will be explained further into it). He has vivid nightmares. Him and his partner have been together since college. He had to drop out because he could no longer afford it and decided to go to the army. Now we can decide if they're married, engaged, or just a couple.

It had been over a year since he's been home. Over a year in which the only communications he's had with his family and friends was letters. And even then only sometimes. They took weeks to come and go. And they couldn't always send or recieve them depending on where they were at. No phone calls, no face time, no Skype, nothing. Jasper was actually nervous to be going home. He hadn't seen them in so long, what would they think of him? He wasn't the same, not after what he'd seen, not after what he'd lost, not after what he'd done. How would they handle the new him? Perhaps they wouldn't notice as much. Perhaps he could hide the majority of it. He just needed to keep taking his meds, keep it in the down low. He couldn't handle loud noises, but that would be expected. Large crowds have him severe anxiety. Jasper wrung his hands out as he got off the plane. He was still in uniform, along with all the other soldiers getting off as well. He looked around for familar faces
"Jasper!" A voice rang out from the crowd and a short man suddenly came up and hugged Jasper. He seemed to be around twenty or so, although he was very short; only about 5'4. "I've missed you so much!" Nathaniel said, grinning as he hugged Jasper a little tighter. Of course, it'd been over a year since he'd seen his fiance, and he was very excited. Nathaniel, as previously mentioned, was very short and his fluffy copper hair fell into his large, hazel eyes. He had freckles and dimples, both of which he hated about himself, but got over it because everyone else seemed to like them. Either way, his dimples were lingering today.
Jasper perked up as he heard his name called. He let out a soft oof as a small man hugged him. He wrapped his arms around his finace. "I missed you too." He murmired and kissed the top of his head. He bent down, picking Nathaniel up. He doubted his fiance was going to let go anytime soon, and they couldnt just stand in the middle, blocking anyone. His chestnut brown hair and been cut short, a military buzz. His face clean shaven. Compared to his finace he was giant, standing just over six feet tall. He had gained a lot of muscle mass from his time in the military.
Nathaniel wrapped his legs around Jasper's waist to be more stable while he was carried out. "Your parents couldn't come… I'm really sorry. They said they were busy but I'm not sure with what exactly. It's…. it's just me here right now." He hugged Jasper's neck, burying his face in the crook of his neck. "Do you wanna go anywhere? Do anything? Today is 100% yours, love."
Jasper smiled and rubbed his back. "Its okay. I'm sure they'll be over soon enough, trying to smother me with food and hugs." He grabbed his suitcase. "I just want to go home and take a very long shower." He chuckled. "I've been limited on my shower time for too long." He started walking towards the exit, balancing the other with only one arm. "Where'd you park the car?" He asked
"Um… just over… there!" Nathaniel pointed out the car in the next row over. "Sorry I couldn't park any closer… it's quite busy today with soldiers coming home and all. I like your uniform, by the way." He grinned again, hugging Jasper tighter. Unfortunately, he had to let go when they got into the car. He got into the passenger side. "You… uh, you might wanna adjust the seat. It's a bit closer to the wheel than you're used to." Nathaniel laughed a bit and buckled himself in.
"Its fine love. We're at an airport, its always busy." Jasper smiled down at him and got to the car. "I'll keep that in mind love." He chuckled and set him down once they reached the car. He put his suitcase and bag in the trunk of it. He went around to the drivers seat and got in. He laighed at how close it was to the wheel. He took a minute adjusting the seat.
Nathaniel tossed the keys to Jasper once he'd gotten situated and they were off. They arrived at home soon enough, and Nathaniel lay on the couch while Jasper went to take a shower. Once he was sure that Jasper had gone, he hopped up and started making Jasper's favorite (whatever that may be) dinner.
Jasper had set his things in their bedroom. He hadn't unpacked yet, leaving that for another day. He turned the shower on, almost scalding hot. He was in there for at least half an hour, just standijg under the water. He tried off and dressed in a pair of sweats and shirt. As he stepped out of bathroom, he noticed a certain smell, lasagna, his favorite. He loved his finace's lasanga.
"Welcome back! I made food!" Nathaniel grinned again and got out a couple plates, putting lasagna onto them. He handed Jasper a plate and started eating his own. "Just let me know if you want any more, love."
Jasper took a plate and sat down at the table. He grabbed his fork and started eating. "Delicious as always love." He practically moaned. "I've missed your food. Army food is tasteless." In no time, he had finished his plate and was getting seconds.
Nathaniel smiled softly. "Um… how was it, anyways? The army? If you're comfortable with sharing, of course…" He took another bite of the lasagna, looking up at Jasper attentively. He was curious about what it was like to be in a war, of course, but he didn't want to make Jasper uncomfortable.
Jasper paused in eating and looked up at him. He set his fork down with a sigh. "Difficult." He turned his gaze down at his food, his appetite gone. "Harder than I thought it would be." He didjt really know what to say.
