"K." Jus thought for a moment. "One, I wasn't diagnosed with Tourettes until I was nine. Two, I'm bisexual. And three… I played a tree in The Wizard of Oz when I was 5."
"K." Jus thought for a moment. "One, I wasn't diagnosed with Tourettes until I was nine. Two, I'm bisexual. And three… I played a tree in The Wizard of Oz when I was 5."
lachlan raised an eyebrow. "that's a hard one. but with this medical system, i'll say wizard of oz is the lie."
"Incorrect! I'm pan, not bi. That was a hard one, but I figured I could come out." Jus blushed at Lanno.
lachlan quirked an eyebrow, smiling at him. "is that so? good to know." he cleared his throat and thought for a moment before saying,
"one. i call myself straight to not be harassed, but i've definitely given a bj before. two, my best friend is a black haired shortie named ari. three, my eyes are naturally grey but i wear brown color contacts."
Jus had to think. "Is two the lie? I think that's what I'm going to guess… yeah. Two."
he looked mildly impressed.
"you're right. he's ash blond and taller than i am. your turn."
"I'll go when I see your natural eyes," Justin said boldly. "I'm sure they're gorgeous."
lachlan raised his eyebrows, but turned to pull a contact case from his bag. he took the contacts out while not facing jus, and turned around once they were out.
his eyes were almost unnatural, the exact shade of overcast clouds. he blinked a couple times.
"there."
Jus gaped. "Never wear those motherfuckin contacts again." He shut his mouth. "Anyways… uh… One, I have four vocal tics, two, I've never dated anyone, three, I have two dads."
"i wear them to blend in. not many people are gonna notice eyes, but these kids are brutal with what they'll fight you over. one of the assholes in my elementary school used to call me 'gay eyes'. and i'm gonna go with three."
"They're fucking gorgeous, Lanno. They're the prettiest eyes I've ever seen. Also, my dad is remarried to Nigel, but I live with my mom. I've never been in a relationship."
"so, the lie was one?" lanno quickly avoided the compliment, blinking quickly and reaching for his contacts case.
"Don't you fucking DARE put those in, Lanno." Jus warned. "Your eyes are perfect. And yes, the lie was one. I have 7 known vocal tics but only one major one." He ticked as if on cue.
"funky." he casually leaned back again, masterfully disguising the panic he felt. "when did you become assertive, cutie?"
"When you tried to hide your beautiful eyes." Jus walked over to the other boy. "You don't have to worry, okay? I don't know what got into me." Maybe it's the crush, Jus thought. "I'm not usually assertive or anything."
(christ im so sorry my mental health has been garbage and i haven't been doing much of anything, hope we can keep going)
lanno turned to lean back, raising an eyebrow at the boy standing over him.
"well, what a position! i'd never worry about people being assertive." he winked. "i rather like it."
(well, i'm leaving for camp tonight, we'll continue when i get back! take care of yourself please!)
Justin blushed profusely. "Well, dear me, I'll have to keep that up then, won't I?" Jus leaned in and pecked Lanno's lips.
(nice, thank you!)
lanno blinked, impressed at the forward nature.
"where'd that come from, mate?"
he quickly winced internally as the 'mate' slipped out. curse muscle memory.
"From my heart, I suppose. Mate." Justin teased Lanno, kissing him again.
lanno leaned back, away from jus.
"jus, i'll admit i've got a soft spot for ya, and i'm an awful flirt, but don't… spend yourself on me. you barely know me, i'm fucking terrible."
he brushed past jus to get up, going to stand behind the chair.
"i have to get the rest of the plants here, then i'll walk you to class."
(hey! sorry, mental health had to take the wheel.)
"How can someone so perfect be terrible? And I'm not going to class, I want to stay with you," Jus was persistent. "You're amazing, Lanno."
