Ayo, found it!
Sorry, my name is inconvenient 😂
Psh, you're fine
Do we need to repost the characters into here, or are we good?
Also, this'll be the team before they find the others, so they're actively scouting while fighting
Okay, this sounds fun. I don't think we bbn ed tonrepist the templates, unless you want to.
Nah
But I will copy and paste the starter
It was late. Very late. Yet, Winston could barely close his eyes. He had a lot of pent-up energy and nothing to burn it on. The gym was too close to Raven's room and if he woke her up she'd probably kill him. And he couldn't think of anything else to do. So he just said on the couch in the dark, throwing a glow-in-the-dark ball up into the air and catching it as it fell. Every once and a while he'd miscue and the ball would strike his face, but it never hurt too badly.
(Should I just… just repost the thing I just posted on the other one?)
(Also rehearsal has ended, so I can actually respond now 😂)
(If you so wish!)
Calysta bolted upright and looked around, breathing heavily. She'd been having that stupid dream again. With a sigh, she hopped out of her bed and opened the door, quietly heading towards the kitchen.
Winston heard the sound of footsteps and sat up, letting the ball strike him on the top of the head as it came down. He was dressed in a pair of baggy grey sweatpants about 2 sizes too big for him and a black tank top.
"Hey," he said, his voice husky and deep. "Did I wake you up?"
Calysta whirled around, momentarily terrified, but quickly calmed down when she saw who it was. "Er, no. I just - I couldn't sleep," she told him, tugging on a piece of hair by her ear.
"I know how you're feelin'," he admitted, running a hand over his almost bald head. "First night in this new tower an' I don't even get to appreciate my new bed. You lookin' for somethin' to eat?"
Calysta nodded, wrapping her arms around herself. "I don't know, I just felt… uncomfortable, I had to leave the room."
"Well, then, come an' sit down," he said, scooting over and giving her enough space to sit down. "There's enough room on this couch for about 9 of us."
She smiled softly and sat. "I would say at least 10," she corrected teasingly.
"Oh, shut up," he said, sprawling out across the rest of the couch and folding his hands on his chest. "Crazy how they gave us a place this big for just the two of us. Think they expect us to find more?"
Calysta shrugged. "Possibly. I have no idea how we could do that, though," she said thoughtfully.
"How were all the other teams formed?" he mused, scratching his jawline. "Somethin' big will happen that'll force us to team up, then boom. Team."
Calysta's eyes crinkled with amusement. "Is that how that works? Do you think there are other people in this city like us?"
"You mean like you," he corrected, lifting his head to look at her. "I'm just a normal guy. You're the superhero."
Calysta made a face. "Don't call me that, I'm not a hero," she said, mildly annoyed.
"Would you rather 'illegal alien?'" he asked, raising an amused eyebrow over at her.
"Well, that would be more accurate," she reasoned, tugging on her hair again. "At least I am an illegal alien."
