"I agree, I love to make things for friends but I havent been able to in a while."

"Yeah. I've never really had the friends to make stuff for. They always told me not to make things for them."

"That's too bad, you have me now though, right?"

"Right. I'm really glad that we're friends. I can't even remember the last time I had real friends."

"Same"

"I don't think I ever had any. I mean, betrayals and fake friendships are normal for me. At least that's changed."

"Yeah, I know how it feels.. But let's not dwell too much on the past."

"Yeah. Now we have we each other, and we can be happy and just enjoy our friendship. It feels nice to have a friend like you."

"Yeah.. you too." I stare off into the distance considering what to say next.

"Um, anyways, I've worked on that art a bit more. While it's not done, I wanna show you!!"

"Oo! Oo! Show me!"

"Well, here it is!!" Hotaru turned her sketchbook towards her friend, smiling. "It's us!"

I can feel my face flush a bright pink, "I-I like it"

"You do? Yay!!" She couldn't help but smile more. "I'm really glad you like it!"

"Of course I like it!" I grin at Hotaru.

"It's still weird knowing that someone likes my art, but it's a good feeling! I'm really glad you like it!"

"I'm glad you're glad!"

"I like drawing things! I'll make sure to make some more art pieces for you! I mean, you seem to really enjoy them, so why not? I'll even give you a couple of them!"

"Guess what! I finished!"

"Oh, that's amazing!! Can I see it? I'd love to see your art, and then I'll continue with mine!"
