"That doesn't look like notes to me," He smirked. "It's beautiful though. Like you."
"That doesn't look like notes to me," He smirked. "It's beautiful though. Like you."
"Sure," she retorted in a mumble, moving her pen back over to the note taking.
"I mean it," Seb repeated, winking. "I don't just tell any girl she's beautiful."
She finally looked up at him with a clearly unimpressed look on her face. "Yes you do. All the time." She looked back at her paper and taking notes.
"True, but I never mean it," He grinned. "And I mean it for you." He stole the piece of paper and looked at the flower closely.
"Yeah, I bet. Give me that," Wren hissed, reaching for the paper and grabbing it back.
He didn't let go. "No really, I do. You know, I think I'll keep this." Seb pried Wren's fingers off it and shoved it into his bag.
"Those are my notes, idiot, I need them!" Wren snapped, starting to get a little pissed off.
"Actually, I need them more than you. Missed 20 minutes of class, remember?"
"And you make up for it by stealing someone else's notes? That's nice," she sneered, getting out another piece of paper.
Seb smirked. "That's exactly how I make up for it. And I get a beautiful drawing too."
Wren narrowed her eyes and ignored him. She quickly began to write what she'd missed during their little "exchange."
Seb looked at his phone under his desk. He looked up occasionally to appear like he was paying attention.
Wren compensated for him taking her notes, not drawing any flowers on this one.
"Does anyone have anything to add? Any questions?" Miss Piper asked. "Sebastian?"
"No, teach. Nothing."
Wren frowned a little when he called Miss Piper "teach". Have a little respect, would you? She raised her hand in the air.
"Wren?" Miss Piper asked, looking a little relieved.
"May I change seats?" Wren asked politely.
Miss Piper looked around. "Sorry, Wren. That can't happen. There's no free seats. You should've chosen a better one."
"I didn't choose this seat. They were assigned," Wren muttered to herself while she put away her notebook paper.
"Well, you should've complained about it earlier. Does anyone have any questions?"
